STRENGTHS
  • Space!: The Starwing, designed in conjunction with the Starfox Pilot Uniform, was designed to allow pilots to survive not only in the vacuum of space, but within extreme environments that would kill a normal humanoid.
  • AR Hud: Designed to function as a new standard, integrated with all GA starfighter systems, the Starwing allows the pilot to view and interact with holographic icons of their ship's systems, allowing a skilled pilot to not only identify, but act on a problem with their ship as small as a loose wire in their wing. This also allows an astromech to communicate with the pilot more openly. Allowing pilots to identify, lock onto, and engage targets, the AR systems allow once complicated processes to be simplified in the eyes of the pilot.
  • Stay Alive...: The Starwing not only has a number of ways of keeping you alive, but it also has an integrated way to wake up pilots who have either been knocked out, or taken out of action.
WEAKNESSES
  • Just a Helmet: Simply put, the Starwing wasn't designed as combat armor. While it can deflect blasters and small arm slugs, it's not gonna shrug off rockets or armor piercing rounds like a mando would.
  • Damaged!: The Starwing is a complex piece of technology. If you're floating in space and you get a leak, there's not a lot you can do.
DESCRIPTION
Designed in conjunction with the Starfox Pilot Uniform, the Starwing acts as a compliment to allow pilots who either bailed out of, or crashed their starfighter, a fighting chance against the elements or whatever hostile agents come for them, while also acting as a massive boost to pilot ability. An integrated AR HUD allows the pilot to visualize and identify targets, as well as acknowledge problems long before they become a problem.
