GALEN CORVAIN

BACKGROUND

The Corvains are a respectable but unremarkable family of civil servants and naval officers. Galen grew up in the shadow of the old Imperial bureaucracy. He remembered when the Empire ruled the galaxy and is determined to restore that order, not necessarily out of ideology but because the Empire was the path to power.

Born on Brentaal, one of the galaxy's great commercial and administrative worlds, Galen Corvain was raised in a family who had served successive governments for generations. The Corvains were respected but unremarkable, neither wealthy nobles nor powerful political figures, but loyal functionaries whose status depended upon the stability of the state they served.

As Imperial authority fractured, trade routes became contested, local governments struggled to maintain control, and old certainties vanished almost overnight. Watching worlds turn inward and former Imperial territories descend into political infighting convinced Corvain that strong centralized authority was not merely desirable, but necessary.

Determined to play a role in restoring that order, he entered the Imperial Naval Academy and graduated with distinction. Rather than pursuing glory on the front lines, his early career focused on fleet logistics, coordination, and administration. There he learned a lesson that would shape his outlook for years to come: wars are not won solely by admirals and starships, but by the supply lines, industries, and institutions that support them.

Now serving as a lieutenant within one of the many Imperial remnant factions that emerged after the Empire's fall, Corvain is regarded as a capable and promising officer. Few suspect the extent of his ambition. While others seek to reclaim the Empire that was lost, Galen Corvain is already looking beyond its ruins, toward the foundations of whatever comes next.
PERSONALITY

Galen Corvain is disciplined, ambitious, and patient. Unlike many young officers who seek glory through battlefield heroics, Corvain believes power is built through influence, preparation, and competence. He rarely raises his voice, preferring calm authority and careful observation. Every conversation is an opportunity to gather information, every assignment a chance to prove his value.

Though outwardly loyal to the ideals of the Empire, his true allegiance is to order, stability, and the advancement of his own legacy. He respects merit, despises incompetence, and views sentimentality as a weakness that clouds judgment. Beneath his composed exterior lies an intense determination to ensure the Corvain name rises higher than it ever stood before.

APPEARANCE

Galen Corvain stands 185 centimeters tall and weighs approximately 82 kilograms. He possesses a lean, disciplined build shaped more by naval training and personal regimen than by battlefield hardship. Dark hair is kept regulation-short but immaculately styled, and his posture is almost unnaturally straight, a habit drilled into him through years of academy life. While not physically imposing in the manner of a marine or stormtrooper officer, he carries himself with the quiet confidence of a man accustomed to command and determined to rise further.
