With the cancellation of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, a few of us thought - why not bring Eurovision to Chaos? ​

Ladies, Gentlemen, Humans, Aliens, we are proud to bring you the first annual Galavision Song Contest! The first contest will be taking place in 860 ABY in a neutral place, and this year’s winner will choose next year’s location!

How to Compete

• Each faction will be given the chance to perform one song.
• The song itself can be a known song, with swapped lyrics. The lyrics can be about current events, SWRP related things, or just random mishmash - the choice is yours!
• The performances will be all in text, where the performer can paste their lyrics, describe their performance. Graphics can be added too.

The Simple Rules

• Any faction, Major or Minor, can join. The only requirement is that you have at least two people that will participate (one for the song, one for the jury).
• Each faction can send one song in.
• Each faction can nominate one of its people to sit on the jury.
• No one, jury or otherwise, can vote for their own faction.
• Jury votes will count for 50%, the audience votes will count for the other 50%.
• The audience will vote manually in the thread, and the vote will be one per character. A character cannot vote for the faction they are in.
• Factions that do build up threads (such as choosing the candidates, working on the song, working on the performance, or anything else that may be related) may receive additional points.
• The points will be assigned as follows: the faction that gets the most points from any given faction, will receive 12 points.The one after that, 10 points, and so on. For instance, let's say 20 people from your faction cast their vote in. The faction they voted for most, will receive the 12 points, so the end results are not affected by the faction's population size.
• Full data will be made public at the end for those who are interested.

Thaelius Yes, be the jury rep for the faction you're representing! In your case for that character, that would be the Chiss Empire or the Sith Empire But talk to them first - we need two people per faction.
