The Golden Rule

After the fallout between Jedi at the recently held Conclave, Suravi decided that she couldn’t leave the Jedi alone to organize themselves. This time, she would engage the members of the Enclave directly as the Supreme Commander to remind them of their duty to the Republic and the galaxy at large. People suffered as the Sith and Mandalorians were left to rampage across systems. No longer.
Instead of meeting with the Jedi at the Enclave, she had invited them to the headquarters of the high command, Fort Jaburo. She believed having the Jedi and other Enclaves members meet on her terms would do much to quell any divisions that may exist between them.
While still a work in progress, the large jungle installation was already operational, serving as a hub for the Home Fleet and the First Sector Army. There was a steady flow of small starships and speeders coming in and out of the large armored and shielded domes, the main entrances to the subterranean complex below. Rings of smaller fortifications and hidden mobile sites far out from domes formed the surface perimeter of the installation, offering added layers of protection against both aerial and ground threats.
She awaited the arrival of the Enclave members at the front of Dome-1, with a small entourage of officers, department officials, and representatives from relevant oversight committees of the Senate. Surrounding them were a whole host of guards in full kit or plainclothes. Incoming Force Sensitives may have felt gaps in their senses as several commandos and guards roamed the area with special countermeasures. Arrangements had been made to have Enclave members brought to Jaburo by military transport.
The party gleamed with brass of the officers among them under the morning sun. The civilian head of the military had no such medals to display, but the Kiribian stood out in her own way with a flaming red coathttp://i824.photobucket.com/albums/zz170/CateChan/YoonEunHye/eunhye93.jpg over a silver blouse and skirt. She chatted with peers as she waited, all smiles over small talk. She didn’t quite feel so jovial on the inside, but it was a habit she carried over from her years as a politician. Times were tense, but she had an appearance to maintain for the sake of others.
