STRENGTHS
Martial Prowess: Having been raised as a Mandalorian, Gaius was practically born a warrior. He is aware of tactics involving firearms training, and hand-to-hand combat. In a way, he is almost the ideal soldier as far as training and application of technique.
Flyer: Ever since he was a boy, Gaius has had a love of flight. He was quick to learn the ways of jetpacks and piloting, making him a great aerial trooper. He does not mind teaching new recruits how to fly.
WEAKNESSES
Dar'manda: Since his clan has disowned him for joining the New Imperial Order, he has been given the label of dar'manda. To many, this would not mean much. But, to those Mandalorians aware of the title, it is that can cause strain with any interaction Gaius has with his former people.
Distrust of Sith: Seeing that the SIth Empire had a hand in slaughtering his family, and with burning Mandalore twice, Gaius has an immense distrust with the Sith elements of the Galaxy. If need be, he will work with those who have aligned with the New Imperials, but it will be begrudgingly. In another situation, he would be first to shoot at the SIth.

BIOGRAPHY
To some, the name Kryze conjures up memories of a controversial time in Mandalorian history. When Satine Kryze forced pacifism instead of the centuries old warrior ways of Mandalore. When Bo-Katan Kryze enlisted the help of aruetiise to repeatedly help her regain Manda'yaim from tyrannical outsiders. So there is little surprise when a Kryze became controversial in this new century.
Gaius Kryze was born into a cadet branch of the clan that had residence on the moon of Concordia. In this time, Clan Kryze had become closer with its warrior roots. He was given what was considered a traditional Mandalorian childhood. He was taught to fight and survive by his elders, in addition to scholarly pursuits. As a boy, he dreamed of joining the Protectors, having idolized the stories of Fenn Shysa and Jaster Mereel.
And so was his path in life. He became a cadet under the Protectors. But, he would soon learn in a trial by fire. The first burning turned Mandalore from a world of lush jungle green to volcanic ash. He was 20 at that time. Under Ra Vizsla, Gaius helped enforce the discrimination against the force wielders. Soon after, he kept his role as a Protector during the tenure of Ra's successor, Yasha Cadera
Then came the massacre when the Sith Empire dropped its hammer on the Mandalorians. He was on his home-moon of Concordia, as part of a detachment Protectors to defend it. What followed was less of a fight, and more of a slaughter. Only Gaius, his mother, and a handful of others survived in their branch of Clan Kryze. For months, they fled from the encroaching arm of the Sith. In that time, all Gaius heard from the Mandalorian elders was bickering and feuding, rather than unity.
When Gaius heard of the New Imperial Order, he saw it as a chance to build his clan's strength again. Yet, his mother was furious at the thought of it, and their debates finalized with Gaius being branded as dar'manda upon his adamant decision to join the NIO. Once in their ranks, Gaius' skills as a former Protector quickly had him move up to the rank of Captain. In this new position, he formed a 10-strong unit of New Imperial stormtroopers known as Shriekhawk Squad, who would take the role of the old Empire's jumptroopers: aerial reconnaissance, support, and patrol. This will be his new clan, and the New Imperial Order his new command.
