Presently Gabriel's perception of the world around him is cynical at best, a truly made pessimist due to the loss he's suffered and the brutality of the criminal underworld that helped to shape him into one of their very own.
Law Enforcement has become something of an inside joke to Gabriel Lynch today, seeing officers as a sense of delaying the inevitable and sugar coating the true nature of Coruscant's best and brightest. After having been convicted following a violent exchange with a suspect on the job back in 851 ABY, Gabriel's made up his mind about the law being too weak to get the job done. Still bitter about the way things went back in the day, he holds a personal grudge against the CSF despite recognizing his own guilty conscience.
The worth of one man's life used to be something Gabriel considered sacred back in the Coruscant Security Force, but over the years he's learned the hard way it's every man for himself at the end of the day; if it comes to his gain over that of another, pulling the trigger is simply a matter of business. Everyone can be bought for a price, and if all else fails, fear has a way of making men bend to the needs of 'The Family'.
Outside of 'The Family', Gabriel Lynch has no other personal attachments, no living family to speak of, making his loyalty to

BIOGRAPHY:
Gabriel Thomas Lynch was born in 823 ABY to Thomas and Abigail Lynch on their homeworld Coruscant. As a middle-class family, Thomas and Abigail worked hard to provide their son, and soon daughter Anita, a healthy and well-educated life. As siblings, Gabriel and Anita were very close and despite having their differences, grew up to not only be close family but also the most trusted of friends.
At the age of eighteen galactic standard years old, Gabriel Lynch applied for the CSF (Coruscant Security Force) Academy where he would train to become a respected officer of the law, seeking to become a protector of the people.
As a young man, Gabriel prided himself on living a moral life, always doing his best to abide by the law as well as his ethical principles for which his parents had instilled in him and his sister both. Once accepted into the Academy, Gabriel would prove to be an excellent cadet and eventually graduate into the force.
Over the next eight years, Gabriel Lynch would serve the community as an officer of Coruscant Law Enforcement. From the mere age of eighteen to twenty-six standard years, he would be introduced to all manner of criminality and violence; A steward of the people, he would join other officers of the law in being standing between the innocent and the immoral.
Over time, Gabriel's experience in the force would gradually harden his personal views and personality, losing the innocence of youth and over time losing faith in the good of people.
In 850 ABY, what little light was left within Gabriel Lynch would be blackened out by the sudden loss of his sister Anita Lynch and her fiance Harlo Bryon in a robbery turned double homicide; their bodies discovered in the Coruscant Underworld, the lower levels where criminality was rife and where Gabriel's Sister should never have been.
Using his connections within the Coruscant Security Force, Gabriel would take charge of the investigation, pouring every ounce of his fury into discovering who was responsible for taking his baby sister's life. Over the two year investigation, there would be numerous suspects and even more, questions went unanswered. With every passing month, Gabriel's anger would continue to build and eventually be unleashed upon one of the primary suspects, evolving into a fight that would see Gabriel draw and fire his sidearm on the victim, shooting him dead in the street.
Dishonourably discharged from the Coruscant Security Force and soon taken into custody himself, Gabriel Lynch would be tried and convicted of homicide in the first degree. The former security officer who sought to find a killer, now convicted of the very sort of crime that he had pledged to defend others from. Charged with murder and given a twenty-year sentence, Gabriel Lynch would discover life on the streets wasn't so different from life in prison; Only for a law enforcement officer, the heat coming down on him would be twofold.
In 854 ABY, Gabriel would suffer another loss. Stricken by the grief of the loss of Anita Lynch and devastated by the violent turn of her Son's life and view of the Galaxy around him, Gabriel's Mother would go on to commit suicide while he was spending his first year inside. As a result of being helpless behind bars, Gabriel's temperament would see the man lose himself to his anger, lashing out at other inmates, starting fights and eventually landing himself in the middle of a prison killing linking two criminal groups, 'The Tsukasa Gokudō' and 'The Family'.
Being in the wrong place at the right time, Gabriel found himself picking a fight with "Made Man" of the Gokudo, an Atrisian Criminal Syndicate known to the Coruscant Underworld. Unknown to him, the poor choice of anger management was intent on killing one of The Family's own before Gabriel's talent for picking a fight would expose the armed inmate to both the 'The Family' and the Prison Guard. A fight broke out and Gabriel took the knife to the stomach instead of its intended target as the Guard descended upon the brawl with non-lethal rounds.
Surviving the encounter yet now having incited a rivalry with the Tsukasa Gokudo, Gabriel would be visited in the medical ward by an Associate of
Ivory Stroud
, explaining the precarious situation the former law enforcer had landed himself in. With little chance of surviving his time inside while the Atrisians were after his blood, 'The Family' associate would make an offer that Gabriel couldn't refuse. Stand by the Family and he might just live long enough to breathe free air on the outside.Having been sentenced to twenty years, Gabriel Lynch would spend the following fourteen years inside before 'The Family' would use their contacts as a reward for his loyalty to organize an early release citing "good behaviour" and oiling the wheels of justice with a little financial equity on the side.
Life on the outside wasn't easy after being incarcerated for the past fifteen years, yet Gabriel was afforded a head start by 'The Family' as he began working for the criminal organization starting from the bottom with the intent of simply getting by. What started out as a need for survival however would soon turn into something of a self-medicated path to leisure, finding enjoyment in the credits he made and the bottom of a bottle every night to wash away the blood on his hands and guilt on his mind. The following years would eventually eat away at his sense of remorse, embedding him within the heart of the criminal underworld.
It would be five years until he was officially made an Enforcer by Donna, Ivory Stroud.
