Once upon a time there was a young guy named Gabe who found himself tagging along on some wacky adventures within unfamiliar stars... he stuck around for as long as he could, but in the end there was a thirst, a hunger to explore and figure himself out. Magda had everything in order. She always did. Now it was time for Gabriel to find out where he belonged.

He drifted.

Exploring space one public transport-trip at a time.

Picked up a couple of tricks during those times. Flew with the Alliance for a time - not Rogue, Vector Squadron - and participated in a handful of missions. Then drifted again. Military life wasn't for him, it seemed. Rolled with the Outer Rim for a while. Still holds a few contacts here and there, but didn't feel like tying himself too hard there either.

A lone conversation at a bar gave him the bright idea to start renting his skills out.

Decent gun, good pilot, quick head and a charmer, why not become a bounty hunter for a while? The cash was there, he could pick his own jobs and everything would be good.

More or less.

The next couple of years were spend hunting bounties, but only of actual criminals. Signed up with the Sons of Destiny for a while. They were a merc outfit based out of Terminus, good reputation, if a bit on the hard side. Worked until he had enough money set aside to buy his own ship. Now... now back to drifting, but without the public transport.

You only figure out how good your own bathroom is, when you had to use the public ones for the last couple of years.
