OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Asynchronous Network Hub: Each Node acts as a decentralized hub for the G4-1A synthetic intelligence, actively backing up information from the other Static Nodes and periphery nodes
  • Daily Backups: Select planetary networks host backups submitted daily of the G4-1A synthetic intelligence from the Asynchronous Harmony Static Nodes in case one or more of them are brought offline.
  • Solarium Glasteel: Each node is able to power itself from the energy gathered by the Solarium Glasteel.
STRENGTHS
  • Small: Each Static Node is relatively small, ten meters on the long axis and five meters on the middle axis. This allows them to remain relatively hidden in the vast space of the systems they are in.
  • Low Power Draw: Each Static Node only draws a small amount of power, and is able to power itself through the Solarium Glasteel built into the body of the node.
WEAKNESSES
  • Sitting Duck: Each Static Node is placed in the system it stays in and has no way of maneuvering or defending itself.
  • Networked: If a Static Node is removed from the network, any active instance of the G4-1A synthetic intelligence in the area of that node is separated from the network and will be limited to the computing power of the systems it has infiltrated until it can get back into network coverage.
DESCRIPTION
The G4-1A Asynchronous Harmony Static Nodes are designed to host and disseminate the G4-1A synthetic intelligence along the Static Node network and to periphery nodes on ships or part of planetary networks nearby. This allows the G4-1A synthetic intelligence to have a decentralized network, and act locally to one Static or periphery Node with relatively up-to-date data. Each Static Node communicates over one or more of the galaxy-spanning networks depending on which has the lowest latency with the adjacent Static Nodes. The seven nodes are placed to cover the majority of the known galaxy, with periphery nodes and infected networks allowing further coverage. The further an instance of the G4-1A synthetic intelligence is from a Static Node, the more it will need to rely on systems local to it for computing power and resources. If an instance is ever separated from the Static Node network, it will truly be alone and likely seek to infect the appropriate systems and networks needed to return to the network.
