[SIZE=9pt]Throwback Weapon:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] These hatchets are not only balanced for throwing, but have the uncanny ability of returning to the user’s hand should they miss the intended target. A skilled user should be able to throw them roughly 25ft with a reliable degree of accuracy. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Bad Vibes: [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]Ultrasonic Vibration Generator causes the blade to vibrate at extreme speeds, allowing it to cut through flesh, textiles and even some metals (such as durasteeL) with surprising ease. This is further enhanced by that aforementioned alchemised quadranium edge.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Sensorship:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] Nightshadow coating allows these beauties to potentially bypass sensor sweeps. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Resistance Is Futile:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] The alchemical nature of these hatchets cause them to attract discharges of Force Lightning, essentially turning them into the equivalent of lightning rods. Obviously, this isn’t ideal given the vibrogenerator, causing it to overload and (in extreme cases) potentially explode. Yikes. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Return to Sender: [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]In order to return to the user, the hatchets require sufficient room to arc around (much like a boomerang). There’s also that small issue of, well, catching a razor sharp vibro-weapon to contend with. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]An Axe To Grind: [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]Areas of force nullification, such as those created by ysalamiri, reduce the hatchets to just that. Hatchets. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Holier Than Thou:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] While not strictly a darkside artefact, they could potentially be damaged by applications of Force Light much in the same way as all creations of Sith Alchemy. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Under the teachings of the Central Isopter, all weapons could conceivably considered sacrosanct. After all, they are the holy instruments in which the greatest gift can be righteously delivered to the galaxy. As such, it stands to reason that when they forge such a weapon, it would highly suited to the task at hand. Exhibit A, the XXXXXX; a pair of finely wrought vibro-axes that were believed to have been originally crafted during the middling years of Darkness that fell across the galaxy as a whole. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]It was said that these blades were touched by the essence of the Jedha Abyss itself, but that is probably just some mystical mumbo jumbo, right? [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]That aside, they hardly resemble the original designs now. Over the centuries they have been suitably retooled, refined and re-updated(?) by the various hands they passed through since leaving the cult’s forges. Only the blades have remained the same, however. Much like a firaxa shark, they’ve required little in the way of evolution to remain perfect for the task at hand. Of course, the later addition of a finely tuned vibrogenerator doesn’t exactly hurt this prowess either. [/SIZE]
