LFG FUs have had it too good for too long

Nearly every major faction on Chaos is FU-centric or places some emphasis on FUs. A great many minor factions are also FU-centric or target a certain demographic.

I'm looking to write with, or even get involved with, some folks who are either anti-FU or are part of a faction which doesn't treat FUs with some special privilege (e.g: dedicated FU sects). I recognize this is likely a niche interest, but I wanted to put this out there to see what's what at the moment. I'm probably looking at something that skews neutral and/or lawful, but am relatively open to the narrative and what direction we take things.

Well Marlon Sularen is very Anti-FU , holding a grudge against both Jedi and Sith after notable figures of such groups betrayed him [Cedric Grayson and Credius Nargath]. Right now he leads a secret clandestine group in the Deep Core that aims to form a Secular Semi-Authoritarian Government within the Galactic Alliance based on the Models of the Grayson Imperium and New Imperial Order.

I've been thinking about making a Non-FU, the Force hasn't really appealed to me throughout my Star Wars experience, and I've only gotten into it some odd months back in 2020. Aside from an idea I haven't quite invested in as of yet, I have two characters that might be eligible, if you think so.

Amali Mustra Amali Mustra Is a Force User, however she dislikes just about every organization of Force Users, and especially has a problem with the Sith. She's a Sith Pureblood and believes the modern Sith corrupted the nomenclature and traditions of her people, also the Exiles subjugated her people and forced them into a war that more or less eradicated the entire species. Neither does she like the Jedi. for obvious reasons and their strictness of the code and the way one should live a life. She instead prefers to practice Sith Magic and Alchemy, excluding the "new spells" or "new alchemical designs" of "modern Sith". She is in Warlords of the Sith for purposes of learning how to manage an entire nomadic clan after her parents died, and after being only trained from birth as a weapon, and nothing more.

Milla Kryst Milla Kryst A Zelosian Slave, from the Black Markets/Zygerrian Slave Empire/The Crucible, she killed her owner and took on his mask and armor, masquerading as him so the slavers wouldn't come for her. She is force sensitive, and may learn some abilities, but she is determined quite strictly to be against the Force as it ruins lives and corrupts others in their wake. She has plans to join Death Watch Crusade, but she is not afraid to be supportive of others. Here soon, she will be taking off the mask and armor some time where she'll be able to actually live a life without having to survive every day.

What. I thought I was alone.

Baros has In Character been researching Force religions and has collected quite the art and artifiact collection relating to specifically the Jedi v Sith battle.

His thoughts were briefly articulated verbally in a thread, until then it had been an internal thing. Also, he is in love with a woman that has revealed herself to be a Force User. So, conflict.

Posts directly touching on this thought:

I honestly thought this was a subject that people were too nervous about takling for a story line. But Baros is thoroughly convinced that he is th good guy in the story, but he is clearly trying to have his cake and eat it too.

I had a vision of a Secret Cabal of characters that crossed factions and worked their way to manipulate things to paint the Jedi and Sith in the necessary light to as to have the public's opinion turn against them. It is time for Joe Average in the Star Wars universe to stand up and not be pawns to the space magicians and their millenniums spanning war.

WE ARE THE VICTIMS.

No, I'm not.

Imperial Force Corps isn't a central part of the New Imperial Order. They are a force order for people interested in it, but stormtroopers, war posting, fleeting, pilots, and all kinds of other NFU content is the central focus.

The fact that Force Users are not outlawed makes Baros unhappy. NIO doesn't cut the mustard sorry. A Republic type government, by the people, for the people, and outlawing magic space wizards. Sounds like a totally non-offensive thing. Can't see why you would not get behind it.

I really like your idea of a Secret Cabal aimed at turning the public against FUs since Marlon Sularen also has similar views and currently believes that FUs are solely responsible for the never-ending state of war the Galaxy is in. Perhaps with Elicia Hejaran Elicia Hejaran our characters could somewhat form a secretive group and pool our resources together to form a rebranded version the Star Cabal and then from that point seek out others in opposing the FUs ending their dominance in Galactic Politics.

I like to think Jedi and Sith do an excellent job of making themselves look bad. I do like your Secret Cabal idea though, I'm picturing insidious looking robes and candles for some reason.

100% they do and there is no push back from those unlucky in the genetic luxury such as ourselves. Our board goes on with people being treated as canon fodder.

Robes and candles? Maybe a masquerade...so no one knows the others to look at them.

Well. The comparison is inevitable. Hence why I thought people would not want to touch the idea with a ten foot pole.
