It had been days since Jairdain Ismet-Thio Jairdain Ismet-Thio had been kidnapped and Jax still had not made a full recovery from his injuries. He spent most of his hours in the meditation chambers allowing the Force heal his battered body. It was a long process and Jax preferred instant relief from the bacta tank but the Force was more efficient in healing thanks to the natural energy it provides compared to a bacta tank.

The fresh scars sustained from the fuel faded away, his mind muddled with worry for Jair and their son was starting to regain clarity. But right now Jax was alone. Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic his stepdaughter considered Jax a plague on her mother and Jayna Ismet-Thio Jayna Ismet-Thio didn’t take the news that her Mom was kidnapped at all. He needed help, Jax couldn’t just rush in alone. Not again when it cost him dearly.

As Jax continued to mediate, he could feel Spasas presence. She was getting closer to the chamber. Jax had contacted Spasa as he wanted to start her training. However, she also had a special connection with Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex . Maybe he could use her help to strengthen his connection with the visions of Jair he’d been having lately.

Once dwelling among the vast mysteries of the empyrean, coveted under the direction of the eternal Ashla, Spasa was walked out with the assistance of Jax Thio, as an enigma. Unlike her previous incarnations, she is gifted with the opportunity to explore the wonders of her youth once again. Jax has become a Father figure, a connection void of her past lives, her history having been rooted among the Nightsisters, while Jairdain Ismet-Thio Jairdain Ismet-Thio quickly became the best female figure she could ever wish to emulate. Pomstychtivé's existence no longer effects Spasa, who lives with a brutally honest mental understanding of the Universe, and exists with a force far more grounded than she could ever dream to utilize.

Jairdain's absence did not incite fear, but set her mind reeling with logical solutions.

She knew Jax is expecting her, so she let herself right into the training room. "I have an idea," she immediately told him. "I can channel Pomstychtivé and I will infiltrate Malsheem, impersonating her, to keep Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex away from the rescue team." She felt it only logical, for Malsheem is quite vast. "I can succeed, trespassing through the Bone Temple which exists within the Nether upon Dathomir." She figures she is going to have to explain herself in further detail, for Dathomir is a grave mystery to practically everyone who is not from there.

She walked right up to Jax and placed her palms gently upon his head, to assist him in the relief of his pain. Her face scrunched as she lifted some of his physical ailments unto herself. "I will learn whatever you wish to teach, in order that you might have faith in me to do this for our family, Father."

Though he tried to fight it, Jax couldn't help but feel that this search would be hopeless. He had nothing to go on but the visions which were hazy and vague, his body was still ravaged by not only by the effects of dark spirit known as Carnifex's gift but the injuries he received by Carnifex. This felt like trying to build Star Destroyer with nothing more than a stick and a rock. Trusting the Force was something Jax preached to his Padawans and his daughter over the years, but the Jedi Master had spent hours meditating and found no answers.

As Spasa entered the mediation chambers, Jax opened his eyes his shoulders slumped in disappointment. Unlike Jax who was starting to give into panic, Spasa was calm and serene. "Greetings," Jax smiled but Spasa cut straight to business stating a rather wild idea of channeling Pom Stych Tivé Pom Stych Tivé and heading to Carnifex's place acting like a distraction for the rescue team.

"That's risky Spasa," Jax responded. "I don't even have a rescue team in place. Not many Jedi here even know me. I am new the High Republic after all and It's still taking me a while to adjust."

But Spasa's idea was something to use. "I've been having these visions lately." Jax said. "Of Jair being held hostage inside some sort of facility and my Dad is using these machines to poke at Jair's stomach."

Jax frowned. "I think he's trying to test my son's latent Force ability," he said. "Knowing him, he'll probably try to accelerate Jair's delivery period so he can have my son for himself."

He looked up at Spasa. "If you want to help," Jax said. "You need to erase your Force signature and allow Pom's signature to take over. I can teach you how to do that. But it's going to require some practice."

Spasa's instantaneous reaction was one of ICK, a face which she clearly caught herself making and quickly attempted to recover. "I am most certainly in." She would never leave an engagement with Pom up to others. "I got her. It's him I wish to avoid. He's got this incredible possessiveness over that dark version of…me." The idea that such a creature could be Jax's father! She could not believe her darkside doppelgänger bed that beast.

Jax informed Spasa about the visions he had recently experienced, and Spasa's heartstrings lurched. She vowed to not permit anything horrific to be suffered unto their baby. "Then we must not waste a moment with idleness."

She moved to sit across from him and crossed her legs. Spasa breathed deep and slow as she quieted her mind. "First, please reveal to me what you saw. Concentrate on the memory of your vision." She intended to reach out to his thoughts and see the pictures within his mind, to focus on clues that might aid in the discovery of the location of where Jairdain is being held.

The stoic expression Spasa held quickly faded away when Jax told her what Carnifex planned to do with his son. “Defintiely father of the year material,” Jax chuckled a bit amused at Spasas being disgusted. The chuckle hid Jax’s horror over the insanity of it all. His Dad was going to wait until Jair gives birth and he’ll take his son away from Jair doing who knows what to him.

“I think I know what he might do,” Jax said. “I keep refusing to embrace the gift that he bestowed on me. He’s going to brainwash my son into his pawn.”

And that filled Jax with anger. He allowed to pass, he can’t let strong emotions cloud his judgement.

“Right,” Jax sat straighter as Spasa reached out in the Force. “Let’s see what you can find.”

Spasa's aura is pure light. Her existence radiates everything that was ever good, torn apart from the existence of Pomstychtivé, her darkside counterpart living among the most notorious Sith, as an apostate to life itself.

She sat before Jax, and in stillness and silence she focused intently upon his life energy. Her senses heightened. The heartbeat of the galaxy sent frequencies dancing throughout her soul first. And little by little she felt it's connection with herself and to Jax. In time, she sensed the Force which united them, as it reaches throughout all that surrounds them, trailing off into oblivion.

She felt his definitive presence, fill the room like he were a clone to the surrounding comfort only the Force itself can bestow. She did not see where he began and the Force ended. She thought him perfect, beautiful…

For a hundred heartbeats she sat in place, absolutely motionless and remained silent, letting her Force Presence disappear as her essence slipped into a state of existence between here and now. Her essence left her body as her thoughts drifted into Jax…

She sensed a great number of the departed who long for retribution. How much of the galaxy cried out for justice, for freedom, for a second chance because of failing.

"Speak to us," she hissed, a slow drawl, a conjuring.

So many Children put through horrific trials by the Dark Mage. How they wanted to speak. How they deserved their voice, and their retribution!

Within Jax's mind, she tiptoed through sounds and visions, of dreams and intuitive discoveries.

Jax stood as a testament to everything opposite the imagery that flooded his thoughts. In his memory, the Darkside reigns there, sterile, and he existed untouched by it.

Jax's mind surrendered the visions he had seen. The Light of the Force, cut through the throes of Carnifex's darkness like a mysticism none of bone and sinew are built to recognize nor deflect. Jairdain prostrate in a hospital bed. A robotic apparatus hovering over her, probing her unborn. Spasa subdued a gasp.

Her mind worked quickly to observe the craftsmanship of the facility as a possible means to identify the region of its maker and design.

She spoke on instinct, "A deep mine, converted facilities."

Her thoughts drifted beyond Jax, into another state of life, Astral. There she witnessed an ethereal golden cord which connected Jax to Jairdain, that stretched from the Light of his soul, off into sheer Darkness. The cord reverberated with subtle whispers between them. Back and forth, their souls spoke. Never had she known anything worth living for such as they shared. She may never…and it wouldn't matter. With Spasa, love is strong for other's such as the rearing of children.

The conversation Jairdain had with Carnifex replayed between Jax and Jairdain, and made Spasa's eyes tear in fear for the child, yet mostly under the weight of hope…desperate hope.

All that they hold dear is threatened.

Spasa's body whispered, "She is reaching out to you, for grounding; you must not let your thoughts wander from her. Let the Padawans provide you with your requirements and sustenance without sleeping, while you continue to meditate on her to lend her assurance."

Jax could feel Jair's faint grasp as if he was the only lifeline that she could cling onto while she was being held in captivity. Jax reached out in the Force strengthening his connection trying to help Jair somehow some way. "I'm here," he spoke into the void. "And I'm gathering Jedi to get you out." He didn't know if Jair heard it, but Jax had to try. He needed her and their son to be safe and to keep fighting.

"Deep mine," Jax pictured the building in his head. There were also facilities just like the visions he kept having. "Does it look like some sort of..... lab?" Jax asked when Spasa finished her connection. "But after sending Jayna Ismet-Thio Jayna Ismet-Thio to Geonosis, I don't think I should put in anymore children in danger. I'm playing a dangerous game Spasa. I can't let anymore people getting hurt because of me."

Jax took a deep breath. "I need the best Jedi for this rescue mission." he said.

She felt Jax reach out, and whether or not his touch fell short of Jairdain Ismet-Thio Jairdain Ismet-Thio she did not know, for the Force in which she exists is thick in Darkness.

"There is one truth to such Darkness," she offers in hopes to console him, "no amount of it can stop a single spark of Light from breaking through it." Spasa felt the Darkness vast, but not superior. "It will be far easier to channel her Light among the Darkness, than to engage the Darkness in searching for its absence."

Spasa remained concentrated upon Jairdain. "This I learned within the Empyrean." She sent a touch from her spirit who forever dwells in that timeless euphoric place, and carried Jairdain hope, showering her with Jax's promise.

When he spoke of not wanting to endanger anyone, her eyes flicked to rest upon him while her lip stiffened. "I choose my fate, whatever that may be." She is a child in appearance only, her years far beyond. Her eyes narrowed. "I have a second chance to do good. If you ever lose me, just return to the Empyrean and walk me out again." She will NOT let him place her on the shelf because of her lack of perfected skills, or because he has fears!
