Free Peoples Socialist Collective Q and A/Recruitment

Based on Belgaroth, The Free Peoples Socialist Collective is a collaboration of beings who seek to bring about a classless, stateless, and ultimately equal society. Despite their goals they are forced to organize into a government for the guarantee of their survival. With the continued spread of greed, corruption, and Imperialism even by those who claim to be Free the FPSC offers a third option. They strive to remain peaceful in diplomatic matters but also keep a standing Military for purposes of defense. If you're tired of watching those with the most credits trample the proletariat into the ground underneath jackbooted heels this is the faction for you. The FPSC has already freed one planet from horrible work conditions, wage slavery, and capitalist tyranny. Help them free more.

Free Peoples Socialist Collective
Pillars of Society

1.Redistribution of Wealth- None shall go hungry under the heel of an oppressor exploiting you and your works.

2.Universal Healthcare- None shall die because of a lack of currency.

3.Selfless Citizenship- All shall be used for the good of the people if it is called for.

4.Equality- All Beings are born equal. Non shall have dominion over others based on birthright.

We are new and still working out a comprehensive governmental structure and resource list. Feel free to ask any questions you wish and if you want to join, welcome aboard Comrade! :D

The One Sith did 1 & 4

I stole from the rich, and gave the poor jobs

We made all civilians equal, as as sith and our army are not civilians. They are better than.

The Sith are by nature autocratic and elitists, I'm not sure you find any who weren't Sith themselves call them champions of the people. The poor especially.

Granted I don't know much about the One Sith though, but honestly don't ever want to have my faction encounter them if at all possible given the heavy handed Imperialism displayed throughout the past.

[member="Valiens Nantaris"] True, but all slaves are equal.

p.s. don't tell them they are slaves, they work better when they don't know

I think the Sith count as pre-capitalist feudalists.

I can see it now.

Labour Camp 44a
One labourer, perhaps driven mad by suffering utters the following. “Fear not, comrades, we may be serfs destined to die building the monumental tea cosy of the Dark Lord, but at least we have all the same rights and privileges as everyone else!”
“You mean…none?” his cynical colleague replies.

And then they’re shot by the Sith, because all are equal in death.

Except the Sith. Sodding Sith.

Also I prefer the term worker, we pay them. Out of their wages, they they get taxed. Then what left they spend in our shops, and we tax that again.

wait their another name for this, not sure what it is.

I'm of the class that uses that word to encompass a wide spectrum of opportunists, though you're right, by traditional definitions I'm giving them too much credit.
