Private Fractured minds crack alike.

Fracture: Calista
Location: A hotel in Belazura
Objective: Unclear.
Belief: A hotel owner from former royalty.

Dressed in black and gold, the woman roamed the hotel watching as the people went about their lives. It was a pleasant place in the mountains. Many windows overlooking the nature beyond. It was designed with multiple classes in mind, split into multiple sections so that the hotel might profit off of anyone whether they mingled or not. There was even an accompanying market, however small, and often overpriced.

And it was all hers. A purchase made to the previous owner whose position she had taken a couple of months before and begun raking in the profits.

Or at least, that's what they believed. So many minds, so many memories, so many lies. It was easier to sneak in a memory than it was to completely change one. To add a belief that Calisa had done all this. That she was some kind of former princess who'd lost her homeland but managed to get away with just enough wealth to purchase this place. A power, she didn't even realize she'd used.

It hadn't been months, it had been days. A telepathic and empathically inclined and powerful mind that reached out to so many minds adding her own beliefs into them. It wasn't perfect. But it was easy to believe. It was easy to believe they just missed something. Really the only people who truly needed to be fully convinced was the real owner and the upper management. After that, it was only a matter of assuming they'd missed something.

But it wasn't the first time that this had happened. And it likely wouldn't be the last. Calisa had not truly existed for long and yet already this sort of thing had happened before. False memories, thoughts, or emotions, implanted upon the rather sudden arrival of a small young woman with black hair and an illusive history. They weren't always this grand in nature, or advantageous to her, but they were accompanied by these rather sudden changes in the belief's of nearby people and assumptions. Eventually, this kind of power could draw the wrong kind of attention.

Slip stood in front of the hotel, looking at it. His green hair stood out in stark contrast to his surroundings, making him stand out. His eyes looked over the hotel, examining it closely. Something wasn't right here... Something was off... He knew it. This place wasn't right, it stood out from all the surroundings, not in a visual way, but in a presence way. It was different in the Force.

Slip had been walking down the street, minding his own business when he came across the hotel. The moment he came closer, he had felt it. The hotel had a strange presence in the Force, one that Slip knew all too well. The Force was influencing minds here. In fact... Slip could sense a presence in there guiding the Force, causing it to influence the minds of others. Slip knew that all too well, he used that power many times. He could feel what the Force was trying to implant into people. Thoughts, emotions, memories, all of it, all in order to influence someone into believing something. Thankfully, Slip had a resistance to this sort of stuff, both because he used the same power, and because his mind was already so broken he didn't even know what was real or what his mind made him believe. His own head was constantly trying to fight against him, which did provide him some protection from other outside influences, thankfully. Still... this place had a strange air about it. Like something was hiding... and that something terrible was about to happen...

Slip sighed. Well, his curiosity got the better of him. He really wanted to know what was going on inside there. He opened the door, and stepped inside the hotel. He looked around the entrance hall, glancing around at everything happening. The presence was stronger inside, trying to implant false thoughts into his head. He continued further in, walking forward.

Slip approached the front desk, looking around. "Hello?" He said. "Any around? I'd like to book a room!"

He could already tell today was going to be interesting.

In spite of the long ranging alterations to the mind that were happening, their reletively small impacts meant for the most part society was functioning as it should. A droid at the front desk popped up and brought up a holo-screen, "Welcome! I am C6Z, I am happy to assist you, these rooms are available, would you like me to sort them by price range? We have a wide range of quality rooms available for you in many sizes!" it inquired as the list and details came up and slowly scrolled across the holographic image.

Calista saw him asking for a room, green hair, it definitely did make him stand out. Not many with that was there? She approached folding her hands behind her back and smiling as she eventually came to a stop next to them.
"Hello there, I hope that Sixty's doing good. Had to have a memory wipe recently, was a little problematic." She said before she bowed her head to him, "I'm Calista, by the way, this is my hotel. Always good to see more around here."

Droids were often the issue when it came to how she functioned. Especially as she lacked the awareness of the situation herself, their lack of response to her belief's often was what made it easier to realize something had happened, either due to noticing a strange amount of memory wipes or droids telling their side of things to authorities after the event.

No doubt hunters would be en route. Nobody was really sure what was going on, but there was a collective bounty rising. It wasn't all that well known yet, partially due to the sheer confusion sorounding the situation. But it was a problem. However, since she'd only been there a short time, they likely had only recently heard anything of it. If at all. Though it was plausible one might have realized it while on world.
