Formitron used to be an endless city but an endless civil war has left many ruins.
There are Jagged fissures and gorges, some reaching the core.

Located on the outskirts of the capital amidst the ruins of war the Fortress is created out of the debris of battle {Created is the correct term because they move it wherever it is necessary} to look upon it is to see broken buildings seamlessly merged with the remains of fallen soldiers a gruesome sight indeed.
The Stronghold of the Solitronians…
Located within the capital building the Stronghold is constantly built and rebuilt further out into the city
claiming streets in the name of protection...nobody minds because nobody lives there anymore.
To look upon it is to see complete restorations of old structures with additions of fortifications and turrets.
Structures here are bound only to the builders imagination
fantastical structures can be seen beside shacks the one thing that is consistent about said structures

Daily life is a constant struggle, the war is beginning to siphon more and more resources...Formitronians do not require sustenance, but there bodies do wear down over time so parts must be replaced from time to time, which is becoming more difficult because of the war.

In general they are tinkerers and inventors but there similarities end there...
Illitronians are disgusted by organic life,
Solitronians see them as equals,
Illitronians make a hobby of integrating weapons of war into there system.
Solitronians do so only under extreme circumstances.

They are incredible craftsmen however we see differences again between the two sides,

Solitronians find small intricate clock work like designs stunning and beautiful and can craft them with exquisite detail.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION Beginnings
There was a time when the solar system had many planets
but one day through a cataclysmic battle they were all wiped out
the people, the planets, everything.
the cries of the innocent fell upon the ears of the Celestials
who were moved by this cry but they also saw this as an opportunity.
The Celestials gathered the remnants of life that was in the system and brought it together to form one entity,
what is now called the core.
The Celestials played with reality and went on their way to whatever tickled their fancy never to be seen again.
Creation
The core, driven by some unknown purpose drew up the remaining debris around itself forming the planet called Formitron.
Over time it formed living beings made of metal imbued with the force these beings were known as the Founders,
the Founders helped forge more precise beings who would be the true inhabitants of Formitron,
after the Founders had completed their mission they sat in their great hall and went into a deep slumber where they remain to this day.
Founding
The newly formed residents of Formitron marveled at their surroundings learning how to form the world to their wishes merely by touching it {as both they and the planet are imbued with the force they and the planet are connected} creating new beings and creatures at first and eventually entire cities.
There was peace, but good things never last... there were those who would use their power for destruction and so they did...
war was inevitable and those who stood in the way ended up as collateral damage.
The War has lasted a over a thousand years how much longer will it last.
Perhaps by gathering the remnants of all remaining life the celestials did not question the incredible hatred imbued in some of that life...
Or maybe this is what they intended. Who can say?
{So it is perfectly clear the Celestials came they messed with stuff and then they left and are never coming back}
