Forge Ahead [ CIS Kamino Raid ]

LOCATION: Tipoca (Not Tapioca the Pudding) City
OBJECTIVES: Protect [member="Tmoxin Temi"]
ALLIES: [member="Srina Talon"] | [member="Muad Dib"] | [member="BX-25233"] | [member="Garith Darkhold"]

The rest of his allies in the shuttle made themselves known in their own way. First was Garith Darkhold, a big armored man whose introduction was to talk about death's inevitability and ensure that you died well. Sol didn't necessarily disagree in principle but he generally preferred gallows humor before heading into battle. This guy just had gallows. Muad also introduced him as the man at least partially responsible for making Muad who he was today. This ultimately got the reaction of. "Well nice to meet you." From Sol, who was trying to figure out how this somber man had helped forge the mad bastard that was Muad Dib.

The next person to catch his eyes was, of course, Srina Talon. Beyond the fact that she was very eye catching like all Echani he also recognized her. Their meeting on Isylrr II was still fresh in his mind. Learning that the young woman was Darth Metus's apprentice had gotten a mixed reaction from Sol. On the one hand, he didn't know Metus. All he knew was that Metus was a big part of the CIS. On the other hand, Metus held the title Darth which meant the man was a Sith. That didn't necessarily make Metus evil but if the man followed Sith philosophy... Well, Sol liked Srina. He'd rather not see her walk down the path of The Sith, mostly because even when they weren't evil they often tended to be nerfherders. Then again Jedi tended to be karking idiots. So it was a poodoo shoot either way he supposed. Mixed feelings as he previously noted.

The shuttle lands without getting blown out of the sky. This makes Sol mildly regret wearing the goggles but hey better to have them and not need them. Besides, maybe he'd have to go for a swim. Then the goggles would come right back around to being useful. The docking ramp is extended the workers outside given them a once over and then before anyone can say anything Muad starts shooting. Srina looked to Muad asking for orders like she actually expected a response. Muad wasn't really a leader, at least, not a military one. He was an agent of chaos you put him into the enemy ranks and let him go crazy.

Fortunately for all gather, while Sol could be equally crazy around Muad he also had a responsible streak.

"Primary goal is to locate and secure Tmoxin Temi." He says loud enough for everyone to hear. He wasn't going to mention that they might have benefited from some stealth at the beginning. It wouldn't have lasted long considering a massive space battle was hard to miss. Still, they might have been able to get into the facility. "Secondary is to cause as much damage surface side as we can. Prevent them from getting more ships in the air, activating ground-based defenses, etcetera. It isn't a priority but if you see something that might make a good target we will make it go bomb." While he was giving orders he watches Muad go nuts. Thanks to their comms they could all hear each other so he would hear the next part.

"We are leaving the Red Fang here to guard the shuttle. We are going to cut our way in, get Tmoxin, then cut our way out causing as much damage as possible. Stay together, stay calm, and maintain radio contact. If you have any questions, well blame Muad for not giving us time to ask them." Then with a general plan established Sol draws his guns and joins Muad in clearing the landing platform and their way into the facility. Hopefully that would be enough direction for Srina, who was probably the only one who'd even come close to listening. Ah well, he could at least try and be the responsible one.

Glorious battle! The very thought sent chills down Daxton Bane’s spine, as the Harbringer of Chaos exalted in the carnage and chaos he and his forces were unleasing. In his ear, the reports of the loss of the landing pad to Imperial Forces, just as he had Foreseen. The defenders probably thought they were securing a victory, how naive. Did they honestly think Daxton Bane would be leaving on drop ship? A pity they did not realize they were stepping head first into a trap set by the Sith Lord.

Closing his eyes, Daxton reached out to the Force using Shatterpoint, completely isolating this level and the three levels above and below from all outside electronic interference. Any surveillance would immediately black out, no signal can be established, no way to send a signal into or outside of the zone. Only another Master of equal skill in Shatterpoint would be able to pierce the wall of electronic silence or some one would have to physically enter the zone itself, not an easy task as Daxton’s men now controlled the chokepoints to the area.

The splicers began their tasks of downloading as much datum as they could, while routing defense programs to strike different more vulnerable targets, further causing more chaos. Those commandos not guarding the passages began strategically placing the explosives ro cause a catastrophic cassade collapse once the mission was complete.

Meanwhile the remaining CIS droids on the upper level rallied their defenses to lure more defenders closer. Even those partially destroyed would continue to fight until all function was destroyed. When sensors detected their enemies were in critical mass around their position, they would remotely trigger explosives hidden in their chasiss, blasting the area with lethal shower of IED explosives and sharpnel. If they were lucky, secondary and terisiary explosives would get more defenders before Daxton moves to the second half of his plan.

Prepare for your... examination.
Lab hurried down the corridors as alarms blared into her ears, "Why off all days do the confederacy attack now, arrrg, so annoying". The Twi'lek doctor had stopped by Kamino after a long business trip to just outside of TSE space to produce a custom line of battle tanks and other armored vehicles, giving her a reason to spend some time away from the office and bug about with some personals time, but noooo, the CIS had to start and all out war, meaning the non combatant scientist had to high tail it to a more safer part of the complex, but first wanted to pick up some personal experimental data.

Unsuspectingly she was headed in the same direction that houses the infamous master of Ren and one of the CIS top scientist, such it wuldn't have taken long to see who was present, but with the urgency of the situation and not wanting to to be captured Lab had throw caution to the wind, in an endeavor to get her personal things and high tail it out of the complex, no thinking for one second people from two different faction where also present.

It was not hard to get through the fighter screen and other defenses that the Empire had put in place, but Kurenai had manged to slip by their defenses along with the assault transports, offering a small amount for fighter supports against AA batteries and the odd TIE fighter, but now things they had landed, with a clear goal and objective in mind. Kurenai reminisced about the CIS raid on Kamino during the clone wars, how the same mission was put in place for Asajj Ventress, there where almost recreating that same scene with her doing the sneaking while Bane did the head on assault that as General Grievous had done all those years ago.

Kurenai slowly stalked towards her goal, seemingly unimpeded for the time being, the slicer accompanying Bane working well to disrupt the security, blaster fire echoing a far distance "It seems our droids are doing well with their mission, how long do you think it will take for them to realize it is but a distraction"? True Bane was a Sith Lord and master of the force, but sometimes hiding gave away your position, especially if someone knew you where supposed to be attacking, at least they had the element of surprise. Though itching for a fight avoiding the enemy was still number one priority for her, she would continue forward in her task, using the latest skills taught to her by Sawa Ike to mask her presence, Bane and his crew offing as a more prominent threat the one Dark Jedi Commando.

Azrik The Condottiero
Location: Tapioca City
Allies: [member="Muad Dib"], CIS
Enemies: Imperial Scum

There was an old saying "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink." In the case of Graf and Galactic Empire, he literally dragged a dead horse to the oceans of Kamino and hoped it would sprout into a galactic utopia. The Galactic Empire has taken the offensive to the defunct Silver Jedi Order, defeating them in marginal victories that were touted as some of the greatest campaigns in military history since the Battle of Endor. Now the CIS has been broken the cold war and taken the offensive to the hart of this Imperial Remnant, it was time to see if they could put up a fight to a galactic force that had some fight in it.

Azrik, a mercenary serving under the Confederacy banner, had taken up arms on behalf of Muad Dib. Joining him on his transport, Azrik hoped he could prove himself worthy to Mondragora as an acolyte in their order. For now he carried a reliable blaster rifle, instead of a lightsaber or other melee weapon a trained force user might use in a pitched battle such as this. For now Muad talked and jested with [member="Sol Damerin"] and [member="Garith Darkhold"] as their shuttle made their descent towards the surface. Azrik remained silent and was seated with his rifle ready.

Finally the shuttle touched down, and Azrik was one of the dozen or so men armed following out Muad onto the platforms of Tapioca city. "I hear they have walkers and armor. They won't be much good on these platforms, there is literally nowhere for them to maneuver." He said. Not soon after blaster fire broke out between CIS and Imperial. Lifting his DXR6 carbine, he fired a few shots back at the stormtroopers. The real fight had begun.

The Subutai unit of his flagship collected data from the Sowa in theater, then immediately converted the raw information into actionable intelligence right on the fly for Elijah and other commanders to digest in formulating a strategy.

"The Galactic Empire has several formations present over Kamino, but that was to be expected. Between us and what the Confederacy committed to this operation, I have little concern about us maintaining parity."

As he continued to speak to his counterparts across the fleet, a rendering of the system would be shared along his own personal, projection, displaying all the major movements of allied and enemy forces in real time.

"The largest GE formation thus far has to be right over the shield gate, comprised of multiple destroyer lines. We will focus our attack here, crippling the bulk of their home fleet currently present while also assisting neutralizing the shield gate to allow ground teams to achieve a successful
exfil."

"We'll hit the primary formation with a multi-prong attack. I'll deploy a portion of my forces close to disrupt their ranks while Quee's and Sko'saht's forces pick them off with long-range attacks and fighters from multiple vectors. I'm going to follow up right between you two as they're distracted by the frontal assault. As we tie up their forces, we drop a small flotilla of stealth vessels right under their noses to insert demolition teams onto the shield gate itself. Their primary task will be to destroy the shield emitters across the hull of the platform."

The map rendering zoomed in on the enemy units now congregating at shield gate, now displaying precise ingress routes that he wanted Quee and Sko'saht to follow, as well as his own routes for flanking maneuvers.

"As I'm a little farther out, it will take me about 15 minutes to assemble the demo teams and them in position for insertion. Try to keep the Imps nice and busy until then. Now, let's get going and show our new Confederate friends what we can do."

The conference ended then, leaving the commanders to prepare and carry out his orders. Across Wild Space just outside the Kamino sector, several formations of capital ships and fighters of the 7th blinked out of view as they initiated their precision jumps into the system.

He purposely kept the bulk of his personal units in reserve, though, for the likely event of Imp reinforcements to the beleaguered system.

He was counting on it, eager to test the full might of the Empire right on their home turf. Such challenges were so few and far between for the grizzled Admiral.

Desmond C’artyom watched as the confederates attempted to mitigate the power of the blast with ion rounds. With shields completely drained, they were semi successful in dropping some of the power, but not all. The great emerald beam of plasma arced out of the concave dish and flew through the void of space towards it’s target. Whether it hit or not remained to be seen.

Desmond noticed his crew shakily becoming more aware of themselves. Soon enough they had managed enough grounds to stand on shaky feet. Desmond attempted to hail the captains of his fleet and found that not all had recovered from the Phobis device attack. He cursed as only two responded to his call. That meant nine out of the 12 ships in his fleet were unoperational.Desmond stared at the holographic figures and uttered one word

“Report,”

One of the captain’s fingered his collar in a worrisome manner while the other gulped audibly.

“We’ve sustained a multitude of casualties, but our ships are still operational,”

One of the pair said and Desmond nodded, his fiery gaze sweeping over the both of them.

“We’ll have to make do. Move your Victory IV in front of my ship while it’s shields recharge. You there captain… Henzley,” Desmond said as his burning red eyes encompassed the man. “Fire your concave dish. Single reactor ignition,”

“Target sir?” The Captain asked, a tinge of fear lingering in his voice.

“The nearest Sikune-Class Battleship,” Desmond ordered and shut down his comms.

He let out a breath as the comms finally turned off. He started visibly shaking as the panic from the sith’s machinations threatened to take over again. He forced it down and addressed the rest of his crew.

“We are outgunned as of now, but we will show the enemy no fear. We are Imperials! It’s time to act like it!” Desmond sneered and his crew Saluted him smartly.

“Yes, sir!”

Mere minutes ago the old man had been frothing at the mouth, painful memories of his past seeping to the surface and further plunging him into madness. Thankful was not an adequate word when [member="Cicero Tiro"] entered the bridge and released them from their hell, it seemed as if the Confederacy was employing Dark Lords of the Sith in their service, given the scale of what had happened to the fleet. Luckily the Inquisitors aboard the vessels were able to effectively counteract whatever had happened.

"Destroyers focus fire on the capital ships, Allegiance-classes draw enemy fire from the rest of your forces. Cruisers keep up on those smaller ships, don't allow them to get behind us. Frigates and Corvettes, fighter screening is your priority." Graf growled at the fleet-wide frequency. "Carriers! Deploy all fighters and supplement our forces! Commander, prepare the completed Project Azure starships for combat, I want to see the enemy tremble before them."

While the cruisers and their larger counterparts had already launched their complements of Imperial starfighters, the carriers had been deliberately holding back theirs so that they could get a feel for the enemy. Hundreds, nearing thousands, of fighters ranging from the exotic XG-2 StarWing to the valiant TIE/In Mark IV, or the swift Scimitar MKII soared from the massive hangar bays of Ton-Falk-IIs and Warlord-class Carriers.

Below them, twenty squadrons of TIE Manglers would appear out of the shield gate, swarming any enemy fighter that attempted to harm their precious space station. Graf considered his fleet, especially after the 7th Fleet Reforms, to be quite diverse enough to counter any threat their enemies could throw at them. But there was something missing that could make or break any battle, one that could serve a valuable asset in this one.

"I.N.V. Silencer reporting in."

The star destroyer appeared near the Pellaeon, having arrived from Scarif about fifteen minutes ago for Director Caalgen's visit to the Imperial capital, just recently had the Intelligence Colonel ordered it into battle as he had found it sitting around to be quite unproductive. The axial 'super'laser dish glowed a frightening hue of green, signalling that the weapon had been fully charged. "Target an enemy destroyer, full power ignition!" Graf barked, a lust for blood glinting madly in his eyes.

"Commence Primary Ignition."

The stalwart defenders of Kamino had rid the CIS Battle Droids from this small sector, albeit not for long, more would come and they would be more ready than they were before. The previously pristine, white halls are no longer. Scorch marks plague the walls whilst scrap heaps lay strewn about in a disorganised and chaotic fashion, utterly decimated. Without a word Fett clambered over the barricade, creeping forward in a cautious manner in his attempt to reach a particular area of the complex. From behind the barricade a voice identical to his own spoke, "Sir, where're you going?" and it was only met with a single response, "To earn my pay." Muttered slurs came from behind the barricade, both in confusion and disgust. He was a heavily discussed topic among Clones of the Galactic Empire. A Clone that was not only able to live freely but still served the Empire one way or another? It was strange, and the bounty hunter's general disposition irritated some clones. He wasn't one of them, and both party refused to believe it to be true.

Fett was somewhere else entirely now, behind him a path of destruction in the form of scrapped Battle Droids, scorch marks and the now long gone deathly, robotic screeches of B1's. Though now he finds himself inside a turret that overseas the Landing Platforms of Tipoca City. Anything that wasn't Imperial was fairly obvious. Troop Transports, marching Battle Droids and personal vessels would become targeted, and if not for any intervention, they would soon find themselves in pieces at the bottom of the Kaminoan Ocean.

Garith’s cold gaze lay upon Muad. The young mad man had touched him? Garith has spent far too many years as a Sith. What stayed his hand was family. It was why he was here.

The elder had felt his family was threatened. Muad was not his enemy.

Garith turned his gaze away from Muad to [member="Sol Damerin"]. There was a brief moment Garith said nothing, after Sol had said it was nice to meet you. Garith was not trying to be rude. The Dler Kashi’s mind was starting to focus his mind upon war not pleasantries. A nod from Garith right now was like saying…yes, ok… I don’t hate you. You might be alright.
Garith did not wait to hear Sol’s briefing on the mission. A few steps behind Muad, Garith strolled down the ramp….as if he had belonged here the armored clad man wearing a battle weary crimson cape. Greeted by a stunned looks and near silence, Garith wondered how many of them just soiled themselves.

Muad being the gentleman he was started to great the hosts with volleys of plasma quarrels. Some trying running, some attempted to dodge behind cover, there were some that even got shot. Yes there was some that were even trying to pull out their weapons. It was chaos. A room of surprised people who just found out today was not a good day.

Garith felt their fear, the anguish of those who did get hit by a plasma bolt. It had been a while since he last felt this pleasure.
The very air seemed to ripple and churn around Garith. The Force began to stir within Garith. He seemed to blink out of existence then reappeared several meters away standing near a decent sized group of imperials in the hanger.
Folding space and time was rare among Force Users but not unheard of.

Seconds after he had repapered, a kinetic wave of force expelled outward from him. The small handful of unprepared Imperial personnel around him was launched of their feet. Some just fell over. A few of them were launched across the room.

Garith had just teleported into the line of fire. Not that Muad could help it but one of the plasma bolts hit the besakr armor plating on Garith back shoulder. His shoulder lurched forward from the kinetic impact. He had to take an extra step forward to keep his balance. The plasma left a smoldering scorch mark. Other than that Garith seemed fine.

"Admiral King's group is jumping in," commented Hobbes, leaning over the holo-tank rail.

Gir silently nodded in understanding as he studied the arrays of starships plodding over the holo-graphic star field. He had been a long time since he had seen large numbers of warships thrown into a battle. Moreover, he found himself having to quickly familiarize himself with some newer designs fielded by the Galactic Empire which he had not personally encountered. He took some solace in the fact that this unfamiliarity would likely be mutual. Designs may change, but the basic principles that govern successful tactics do not...

"Looks like they've decided to release lots of their fighters that they've held in reserve," noted Hobbes dryly.

Gir nodded, "They're not fools, that is certain. But doing so creates a liability if those ships wander too far from their base ships. Those carriers will make a tempting target without any fighter support."

"Our target."

"Not yet," said Gir, finally turning his gaze from battlefield, "it would be a strategic blunder for them to lose so many fighter transports. But I do not think that their loss would impact why we're really here. No, I've decided on a different target."

Gir flicked a switch on his headset, turning to the channel used by Nepo and his task force command staff.

"Quee speaking. We are going to enter the battlefield by line. The Tide and the rest of Aurek Line will enter first. Besh, Cresh, and Dorn lines will enter at two kilometers from our entry point and coming at twenty degrees oblique port of Aurek's heading on my mark or per your contingency orders. We have all trained long for an operation like this, and I have little doubt in your abilities. Stand by to link nav computers to Drake. Quee out."

Gir cut the line and rapidly typed in commands to Drake, the navigational artificial intelligence. With last command placed, a holographic visage of givin appeared just besides the holo-tank. Drake's avatar crossed his arm.

"These coordinates will be cutting close to the edges of the gravity well."

"You can do it."

"It will not be a pleasant ride."

"That's the least of my worries," said Gir, turning his attention back to the holo-tank, "I'll take an unpleasant ride over being vaporized before I have a chance to get there."

"Yes sir," said Drake, quickly fading away.

Just as that intelligence faded away. Another figure coalesced in its place, resolving into a formless wire-framed humanoid. One intelligence to the next. Or should I say idiot savant? Gir shook his head, as if doing so would throw the thoughts away.

"You are ready for your part in this?"

"Naturally," said Aurek, "I seek clarification on one item."

"And that is?"

"How discreet do you want me to be?"

"We'll have to be moving quickly enough that I don't want a slow approach. Disguise your efforts as someone else if need be."

"Understood."

Gir turned his attention back to Hobbes, "Are we ready to jump?"

The other man nodded.

"Let's jump."

With that, the first element of Admiral Quee's fleet surged into hyperspace and towards the battlefield.

Orion scanned the battle, watching the Imperial fleet launching unrelenting amounts of firepower, eviscerating several of the Confederate warships. The industry of the Empire was showing, and Orion could see why the industrial power was so threatening. Their weaponry was more powerful than that of the Confederates, reminding him of a miniature Death Star. He knew that the battle would easily be lost if they were not able to take the enemies powerful weaponry quickly.

"Aut-V, launch all fighters and bombers. Use the bombers to target enemy destroyers, especially the bridges."

"Yes sir" Aut-V responded, quickly sending out the command. "Our forces will not be able to survive long against the Imperial starfleet."

Orion responded immediately, not even turning to look at his commander. "I know. My intentions are not to destroy the fleet. My intentions are to thin the horde so taking down the shieldgate is an easier task." He then turned on his comm and sent out commands to all the droid fighters. "All units! Do not hesitate to suicide bomb if it means the success of our mission! Glory to the Confederacy!"

The droid fighters deployed from different ships across Orion's entire Task Group. Vulture droids and Hyena Droid Bombers, by the hundreds, heading straight toward the Imperial fleet, and the incoming barrage of cannon fire.

Kurenai peaked around the corner down the of the white corridors, long leaving the battle behind as she but still having to pass by the enemy defenders before reaching the cloning facility. Though it appeared that a certain Mandalorian had taken it upon himself to push ahead, leaving just your average troopers to defend against her attack, even if they where 501st they where just mortals children in her eyes that had no place on the battlefield.

Rounding the comer Kurenai lay down a hail of fire on the unsuspecting defenders from her repeating blaster, confident that Daxtons veil over the facility would keep her action quite until she was able to once again resume silent protocol. Even if the clones armor held against her weapon all she needed was for them to be out of the way, once past they would not be able to find her. Coming closer Kurenai leapt over the barricade, sending out a force blast to knock any remaining defenders to the side, dropping a stun grenade in her place before high tailing it further into the laboratory, ducking down several corridors in attempts to lose and would be chasers, from here on out no contact with the enemy was necessary, until she reached her objective.

It seems that the Sikune-Class Battleships ion cannon barrage that fired onto the powering up Star Destroyer had succeed in slightly disrupting it's power, however it seems they still managed to fire the beam towards whatever their target is, Arlox had only hoped it wasn't anything essential that the beam had landed on, after that barrage, Arlox then ordered the 2 Sovereign-Class Heavy Cruisers to let out there starfighters, in total, the starfighters surrounding Arlox's fleet were now 156, 74 Jackal Interceptors, 62 Grunt Starfighters and 20 Hunter Bombers.

Soon enough, another spiked power reading came from the fleet of enemy Star Destroyers, before anyone could figure out what they were trying to do, a sudden beam came from one of the Star Destroyers and landed straight onto one of the Sikune-Class Battleships, followed by an explosion with scattered parts on fire flying around near Arlox's fleet. Arlox slammed onto the armstand and said "Status report! now!" in a few delayed seconds, it was finally given. It seems a quick proton beam cannon had destroyed one of the three Sikune-Class Battleships, now leaving only two of them, one of the Sikune-Class Battleships had suffered some kinetic damage from the flying parts of the now destroyed Sikune-Class Battleship but is still holding it's own.

Arlox started to tap his fingers onto the command chair's armstand, thinking how he'll counter this. He then noticed the Star Destroyer he ordered an ion cannon barrage on before is being protected by a Star Destroyer straight in-front of it, he then decided his next course of action. "This will be stupid, but I hope it'll do a number on them. " Arlox commented, he then shared his command with his fleet. 1 Sovereign-Class Heavy Cruiser along with 37 Jackal Interceptors and 31 Grunt Starfighters will keep the attention of the fleet on the left, meanwhile the other Sovereign-Class Heavy Cruiser with the same amount of starfighters will keep the right side of the enemy fleet busy, while the majority of their fleet will be focused on shredding the threat right in-front of their noses, the remaining Sikune-Class Battleships will fire their heavy long-range ion cannons once more on the nearest Victory-IV Star Destroyer, then the 20 Hunter Bombers will move in to fire their proton torpedos at the Victory-IV Star Destroyer, hoping to substantially damage it.

In the long run, he's hoping that the left and right fleet battle will hold them off so Sikune-Class Battleships and Hunter Bombers can focus on the middle Star Destroyers of the enemy formation.

Dssmond C’artyom looked around at his crew warily. The signs of fear that the Phobis device had subjugated them too were obviously wearing off. Desmond had no time to question it, for soon after a man clad in dark robes arrived on the bridge. Desmond spied the lightsaber on his hip and knew him to be a Inquisitor. The man appeared in deep concentration as he worked his magics on the crew. Soon enough Desmond’s whole fleet reported in. The Chiss smiled and thanked the force for the Inquisition.

He walked a methodical pace, arms clasped at the small of his back, towards the holographic command display. He noted the enemy splitting into two separate attack flotilla. Heavy cruisers leading the charge whilst surrounded by fighters. But, the enemy had made a key mistake. He left his Sikune class ships out in the open. The Chiss was more than confident in his own fleets ability to defend the Conqueror’s and so he fretted not. One of Desmond’s hands moved to his chin as he pondered the tactical readout.

“Hail the captain of the first Victory IV. Tell him he’s to move his ship 200 meters west,” Desmond said as he watched the Victory IV come under heavy fire “Tell the second Victory IV to move in front of the INV Emperor’s Fury,” Desmond finished his order and the crew nodded in ascent.

“Have the Two Victory IV’s engage the enemy Heavy cruisers with long range weaponry,” Desmond watched as the concave dish prepared to fire once more.

“Single reactor ignition,” Desmond ordered again and the INV Emperor’s Wrath fired another beam of plasma straight for one of the Sikune class ships.

Meanwhile the four Tyrant class SD’s began to open fire on the Hunter bombers with over a thousand light turbolasers and over three hundred point defense turrets.

The Bounty Hunter crept through the pristine halls, or at least they once were, now they seem to be caked in blaster marks, scorched walls, shattered lights and walls made the place look like a war zone - and for now it was one - but nevertheless, he kept on going. His intent was to reach the Gun that oversaw the Landing Platform, from there an intense amount of fire could be dealt to the marching droids, and better yet the ships that the invaders had landed in. Destroying them would take out any chance of escaping the watery Imperial Capital, although nothing ever went to plan now did it?

Pained grunts, deathly screeches and blaster fire began. He hadn't even managed to make it too far, the sounds were relatively close, although by the time he reached the location the Clones were dead and a female vaulted the make-shift barricade before zipping around the corner. In hot pursuit with his blaster carbine in hand, he too rounded the corner. Standing at it, he aimed and fired, the trio of bolts escaping the barrel and likely hitting it's target from the current range.

Kamino
851 ABY - Forge Ahead

Objective: Kick Ass, Take Names
Location: In orbit of Kamino
Enemies: Galactic Empire Fleet & Their Allies

By the time a droid had retrieved the Admirals spectacles, the battle was fully under way. He peered out, among the stars were numerous starships taking defensive and offensive positions, and preparing to deliver a battering or receive one. From the rear of the CIS Fleet, Aurelio was able to retrieve a fully strategic view of the battle. The Empire was pushed into a corner, but was being fully defensive - Lord Metus had pushed himself too far, and it seemed as if the rest of the fleet was walking into a complete trap.

"Put the map up." He commanded, waving a hand into the air. Suddenly, a spectacle of blue lights filled the room with a giant holo display of the battle at hand. He took a moment pondering it, before finally pointing out the INV Silence. "There, that ship. It's been commanded forward, for no reason. It would be far better fit near the rear delivering heavy fire - and their commanders know it." He paused for a moment, taking in the sight of the beast. "Ensign Taly, do we have any idea as to the designation of that vessel?"

"Sir, from our limited dated I can garner that, that is the INV Silence - an unidentified Star Destroyer, but other than that there is not much other credible data on the ship." The officer stated, looking back towards the Admiral.

"That's not just any Star Destroyer - I'm starting to think the Empire has copied some of our plans.."

Quickly, the man opened a channel - but was cut off by the sound of rising panic the younger officers voice. "Admiral Ilyin, I am detecting an indescribable energy increase on the Silence!"

Patching into the rest of the fleet network, the Admiral gave a sharp command to those who were listening: "All vessels, pull back immediately! We've walked right into a damned Imperial trap."

GIr felt the deck begin to vibrate underneath his feet. The tremors began to grow in strength and repetition, causing Gir to tightly grip the railing of the holo-tank in front of him. He ignored it as best as he could, focusing his eyes on the unfolding battlefield in front of him. Suddenly, he felt the deck 'slide' underneath his feet, and the vibrations ceased. They had entered realspace. The tactical holo-tank showed the first element of Gir's fleet coming in perpendicular to flank a formation of Galactic Empire ships guarding one of the sides of the shield gate. A multitude of light almost immediately began to radiate out of the Tide's bow as an assortment of slugthrowers, turbolasers, and exotic weapons lashed out as one in an alpha strike in an attempt to overwhelm the nearest star destroyer before it realized their presence. Gir spared a glance at the holo-tank. Drake did a good job, we're nearly on top of them...As if to confirm that fact, the Tide's twin proton beams pulsed a pair of incandescent blue light into the star destroyer's starboard side. The other vessels of Aurek Line quickly joined in to combine fire on the star destroyer, including the Silver Jedi cruiser Nodachi and the Directorate frigate Windsaber. Among this brilliant light show, Typhoon fighters and Cyclone bombers poured out of the Tide's hangar bays to set themselves on their nearby counterparts. Gir tore his attention away from the alpha strike, trusting that his commanders would be aptly able to take care of immediate tactical concerns as he concentrated coordinating the overall strategic picture. Gir flicked his headset to the channel he shared with Nepo and the vessels's command staffs.

"Execute immediate selective communication jamming of enemy starfighter communication's channels."

Up at his console in the third tier of consoles, Nepo nodded and barked a few quick orders around him. The Tide's frequency jammer hummed to life and began to jam the subspace communication frequencies currently used by the Galactic Empire's starfighters. Gir doubted their ability to be able to jam the communications of the largest ships present on the battlefield, but there was little contest in the power of a small subspace transceiver used by snubfighters and the massive jammer based on the Tide. And a lack of coordination could make up for a numbers difference, especially in a surprise attack. Gir briefly turned his attention to the helm, which showed Aurek Line gradually shifting their course to the port, which would culminate them making a 270 degree turn that would allow them to eventually end up on a parallel course with the Imperial formation, assuming that they didn't deviate from their current position or course. He turned his attention to briefly monitor the battlefront of an altogether different front: Aurek's efforts in cyberspace.

Hacking: Aurek

Aurek scanned the local area for possible targets, immediately discounting any friendly or Imperial warships in the area. Unless they were heavily damaged, it seemed unlikely that it would be able to quickly penetrate their military grade encryption in a manner needed for Gir's plan. Instead, it found several dozen satellites, which appeared to handle a variety of sundry civilian applications such as weather monitoring, traffic control, and local communications. As it did so, Aurek spoofed its outgoing signals from the Tide to appear to be coming from the local subspace radio network. Aurek designated these as its primary targets and began to send out direct transmissions trying to establish contact with them, disguising these initial attempts as what appeared to be typical transmissions received by these satellites: a traffic control satellite received a request for a shuttle to land on Tipoca City, a weather monitoring service received a request that seemed to originate from the provost office of a local university for the local forecasts, etc. All seemingly benign requests coupled with software that seemed to be checking compatibility of the software between the sender and receiver. In actuality, Aurek had hijacked the existing off-the-shelf compatability and translation programs common in the area to slip in several advanced port-scanning routines, which would let Aurek know who these satellites were communicating with or who they had previously had contact with before. Seeing that he had more processing power available to it, Aurek sent several similar requests to the oldest looking civilian craft he could find in orbit, including an exceptionally rusty drone barge that seemed to be a garbage hauler. Rather than request information directly from the craft, these messages appeared to be navigational updates from BoSS. It would now wait to see how its prey reacted to its lures.
