OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: Stealth suite for Force-Tech
  • Canon Link: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Primary Source: Cloaking Device
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Stealth! It is quite literally the complete stealth package, capable of rendering the ship completely invisible.
WEAKNESSES
  • Though the Zûtsina alloy provides some Ion/EMP resistance, it is not impervious to it and can still be short-circuited by said damage.
  • Larger units can take longer to power up.
  • Requires sensor to function (not included)
  • Power hungry. Needs a dedicated power generator.
  • Will not function at all with SLAM active.
  • Needs monthly maintenance.
  • Currently no way to hide the presence of Force-sensitives from Force users with a strong Force Sense.
  • Damage to the dedicated reactor is likely to shut down the system.
DESCRIPTION
This stealth suite was designed by Force-Tech ultimately for the continued protection of Susevfi and her interests.
The Jensaarai engineers of Force-Tech were able to finely tune and miniaturize multiple components of varying types of stealth systems into one complete stealth suite package.
Zûtsina housing for the units provides extremely durable protection for the circuitry as well as constant unpowered cooling. Some of the materials used in the units themselves provide sensor blocking. The suite itself boasts a wide array of stealth capabilities: from sensor jamming, to scrambling of holocommunications, to cloaking itself in shadows, to disguising itself as another ship, to nullifying the physical presence of the ship, to minimizing the signature the engines give off. It is powerful enough to bend light, sound, electromagnetic waves, and even space itself around the ship to hide its presence. It can project surrounding readings - radiation, temperature, etc. - to mimic the background space as if it weren't there.
The greatest downsides of the stealth suite are the necessity of monthly maintenance to keep it in top shape and the need for a dedicated reactor.

Stealth suites are a fun addition to any shipbuilder's repertoire, but there are a few issues with this submission that I wanted to go through with you.

1) Mass Production

According to the factory rules, any stealth tech can only be at semi-unique or unique. Please adjust the submission accordingly.

2) Weaknesses

Stealth cannot be maintained at high speeds unless you have multiple powerful reactors (with even greater numbers needed with larger ships), and it still cannot completely hide engine signature at high speeds.

Could you please clarify the weakness above, you say that it can't hide ships at high speed, but it can, but it can't. Please can you just clean up the language so it's easier to understand.

Sucks it has to be semi-unique at least. I'd wanted to make a Minor production ship for RTL with it. That's ok. I can do a Minor and Semi-unique version of it.
Changed to Semi-unique.
Removed RTL affiliation, since it's not minor/Mass-produced
Removed the confusing weakness. I think just saying it doesn't work with SLAM active probably is good enough.
