:: HERO of KORRIBAN ::
Ord Mantell
Worlport
Yolo’s Cantina
Rumors, that was Judah’s business, especially when those rumors added up to anything suspiciously pointing to a rogue force signature, or untrained force signature. Either way there had been enough rumors to justify a trip, and a break away from his normal routine with the Army of Light. Judah was not foolish enough to just take off without telling anyone where he was going though. The only person who really needed to know was his C.O. and new friend @[member="Cambria Zadira"]. Regardless of how hard Judah tried to keep from getting to the place where he could potentially feel the pain of loss again, it seemed the force was determined to see him heal from the loss of his master. Judah had yet to tell Cambria about his loss, and without knowing it, she was helping him cope. It was likely best that way. Judah was not one to draw attention to his own problems. He would rather focus on helping others. It was usually that way for most people. The truth was helping someone through their problems was usually easier than dealing with your own, and that’s where Judah was.
Truth be told, it was hard for Judah to leave the makeshift headquarters of the fledgling movement. Everything he had heard philosophy wise was something Judah could not disagree with. There were parts of the creed he had to work through, mostly the fact it was seemingly gray. Judah allowed for gray, but saw the world in black and white. Some would say it was a Sith quality, but Judah never agreed with that over generalization. There were many Jedi who were not what they preached, which was partly why the Knight found himself with the Army of Light. Judah would rather be part of a group of individuals who remained true to who they were, then be tied to a group that hid behind their code but did not follow it.
Judah did not know why he was chasing the rumors, other than it was part of who he was as a Jedi Shadow. If this individual was a threat Judah wanted to remove it, but the only way to find out was to find the person who was attached to the force signature. The Knight was working off a hunch. Where was a perfect place to hide if you were force sensitive and did not want to be found? Judah headed for worlds with high populations away from the core worlds. The Mid-Rim world of Ord Mantell was a good choice considering the high traffic volume of off world visitors. The casinos, and other shady establishments, guaranteed there was ample underworld activity, besides the reputation the world had for it anyway. If the individual was on the world then paths would cross. Things would happen as they usually did.
The routine was simple. Judah picked a cantina which also provided cover for the underground activities the world offered, whether that was to satisfy a person’s vices or find work. The Knight ordered his drink, Corellian Whiskey, and took a seat in the shadows near a wall facing the door where he could see and sense every person that walked in and out. It was a game of patience. Sometimes it proved to be successful and other times Judah left having only enjoyed a fine glass of whiskey. With drink in hand, Judah found the perfect seat. The mug was set on the table, and the Knight pulled out his pipe. It was a recreational thing, and not something Judah did often. The pipe was mostly for cover, which Judah was undercover at the moment in some sense. Even his clothing choice did not advertise his alignment as a Jedi. He seemed more like a ranger than anything, though his cloak was mostly worn to hide the twin saber hilts which hung from his belt. The game had begun. Judah’s target would come to him.
