Force-computer online

She was puzzled to no end about just how could she be made to feel as though she is a Force-computer! She was much more popular in social functions than her boss ever could hope to be. She stayed on Dulvoyinn for the night for some well-deserved rest. Hopefully tonight's beach party would be different from the last one she went to, many years ago back on Corulag. And Anastasia Volzhin was next to her! Another woman who was envied across dark-sided space for her looks! She spent a lot of her life on Dulvoyinn, and as a fashion model, her Force-alignment was an important ingredient of her trade. But that other woman went straight through Anastasia despite being more famous than Jessica. That is, outside the engineering or Republican military circles. In today's galaxy, there were tabloids for most categories PCs belonged to: engineering, military figures, entertainment/fashion, Jedi/Sith, politicians, merchants being the main ones.

"Hello, young lady, I'm Jessica And you are?"

[member="Summer Sovereign"]

Summer would be all dressed up in her finery which was a beautiful dress colored silver and black. Being as it was a hot summer night she wore a backless dress and her royal tiara. As she looked around she saw the most beautiful women she had ever seen. She approached and heard the woman speak and responded "Summer or Rose if you please."

[member="Jessica Med-Beq"]

"Thank you, Summer. Perhaps you would like to get a feel for me in the Force; sometimes I have the impression that the Force is picking my brain one times too many although I cannot confirm it myself. But, if it is actually the case, the Force must have good reasons to do so"

She has known another person or two with such fabulous intellectual abilities that would make the Force envious, or at least make them want to pick their brains for reasons out of their control. That is, if the Force could actually feel emotions. One [member="Anna Sachae"] as well as [member="Tionne Thanewulf"]. But compared to these two people, Jessica did not seem to be overly intimidated, just that she feels to be a little less one-dimensional than they are. Jessica has never been one to dress extravagantly, so she kept that dress with floral motif for all things pertaining to high-temperature occasions like beach parties. She wasn't like the likes of [member="Coci Heavenshield"] or [member="Joza Perl"], who were vain beyond her imagination.

[member="Summer Sovereign"]

Summer would get a feel for her and then she would step up to get a better look at the woman, she was a vision of loveliness. Summer would blush at the thought, "So what is a beautiful girl like you doing here"

[member="Jessica Med-Beq"]

"My body aches; my body needs some rest. It has taken quite a beating on Kashyyyk: posing as a Republican sniper with a heavy, high-recoil weapon is taxing on one's body. It seems that tall girls are all the rage at this time"

It's really the "high-recoil" part that makes it taxing on one's body, a SI-74 was worse than even a Wookiee bowcaster or a Z-6 rotary cannon. She held in terror three senior Mandalorian staffers, even one general that unleashed a Force-bubble of death around him and that was one of the Cuir Rekr, that is, one of the four senior Mandalorian generals, Draco Vereen. She was always told that smarts would give her more attractiveness, and she was as attractive as she could be. Was she becoming one of the most attractive ladies in the galaxy? If you were an actual Republican sniper, or a STEM worker, or even from a species that highly valued intellect in love interests, perhaps. There were no ifs, ands or buts, smarts did not make women more alluring to everybody, and she knew it. But it was what made her more alluring to Summer, or so she would think. She has been wrong before, but she was far from perfect.

"It seemed that Mandos cared little about women beyond their bodies: they liked strong, tall women but they cared little about them beyond that except for combat prowess. How am I different from those other lovely, pretty girls around you?"

[member="Summer Sovereign"]

[SIZE=14.6667px]Summer would listen intently as the woman spoke. She liked the interesting way she spoke, Summer liked that because she never met interesting people like that. She understood most of what she was told but some of it baffled her. At the part where she said something about the high recoil on the weapons Summer would move right in front of her and place her hand on her shoulder “Right here?” She would then answer the other question “You are so much more than a pretty face and a really nice body you have brains and thats what matters”[/SIZE]

[member="Jessica Med-Beq"]

"There are a few people in the galaxy as smart as I am, just that I have the full kit of things people usually would like in women"

Jessica feels relieved now that she feels the healing touch of Force-healing untying her muscular knots and removing the residual lactic acid that still caused her body to feel worn-out days after the fact. She knew she lacked agility and subtlety, and that using high-recoil weapons such as a SI-74 or a bowcaster would be a seemingly good fit for her. Wookiees usually favored such things but only humans with her size and her body type would be able to withstand the recoil - she was almost like a Wookiee female body-wise and, if she learned Shyriwook she would be able to impersonate a Wookiee vod among Mandos ([member="Sor-Jan Xantha"] once mistook her for a Wookiee, even though she passed for Wookiee mainly due to her haircut at the time) so long as she kept her armor on. Now that she knew that her brain was the main thing attracting Summer to her... she decides to talk about what she knew about that aspect of her physiology.

"You probably know that intelligence is more than simply a function of brain size. I'm sick and tired of hearing about people, Jawa and non-Jawa alike, implicitly or explicitly implying that intelligence is mostly a question of brain size. We both have pretty big brains, all right, if one is not mentally active, a big brain can only be of so much use. I'm mentally active and you know it, and you probably are as well; there is a part in my brain that you will fall in love with soon enough"

[member="Summer Sovereign"]

As Summer listened she did not move back or even blink she would stay there with her hand on the girls shoulder "Whos to say I haven't already fallen in love so you wanna dance or something?"

[member="Jessica Med-Beq"]

That was... fast. Too fast. Probably one of those things that made her feel as if the Force was using her as a computer. She knew her brain was, to her eyes, an instrument she could leverage to increase her charisma, and even actively use, but she never suspected that her mentalism would work so fast. Perhaps letting Summer get a feel for her in the Force accelerated the process. Then again, she seldom had an occasion to actively use her brainpower as a tool for romance. To her, nice bodies were easier to find and fetch than intellect. Even though her agility is such that it would make actual Wookiees look agile, she still accepts to dance out of courtesy.

"I accept this dance, just that I am not naturally agile by any means"

And clumsy she was: she was perhaps quite fast in a straight line, for someone her mass, but who knows... perhaps Summer had another trick up her sleeve to make her more agile, as if Force-agility was a thing that could be used on someone else. She was, however, unable to use the Force.

[member="Summer Sovereign"]

Summer would take the woman's hand in her own and as they started to dance summer would use the force to make them both more agile and then by some magic they began to float a few inches off the ground. It was magical as they twirled about summer would smile and laugh

[member="Jessica Med-Beq"]

"I've never been that agile before! You got as much agility out of this body as you possibly could! Now that's a convincing illustration of space magic. You have talent and you probably used space magic to spot me among the crowd of lovely ladies the one that best clicked with you"

Even though said space magic was mostly applying F=ma (force = mass x acceleration) and its rotational equivalent T = Ia (torque = moment of inertia times angular acceleration) to carefully chosen points and in carefully-applied amounts. She did have her share of interactions with FUs, like [member="Celiana"] back on Kuat, but also [member="Tyyni Oluja"], [member="Valae Kitra"] et al. And they used space magic mostly on themselves. But she never saw anyone use Force-agility on someone other than the caster. Yet she has questions about the spell's effects.

"I wonder whether that spell made my physical agility the same as my mental agility - it didn't make me lighter or anything like that"

[member="Summer Sovereign"]

"My brain does glow in the Force, right?"

Would a high level of mental activity make someone glow more in the Force? Jessica knew she was mentally active, but that using the Force does not make people smarter per se; only a few powers known to the Force-using mentalists that were on the freak show circuit actually gave that result. She couldn't use any of them, her intelligence was completely natural in that sense that she took no psychotropes or did not make use of the Force to that end, and her mental conditioning plan is fairly conventional. She would rather say that her brain is well-trained rather than simply say that she had a big brain: it was a point of setting the facts straight to her, and also a matter of pride. But as they continued to dance above the dance floor, which was actually a sandy beach...

"Perhaps you would like to attend the premiere of Dead Fantasy 2, or a preview thereof, if you are into horror holomovies. It's a little different from what the Dathomirians got us used to - it's more of a war movie in a sense"

What Summer does not know is that actual battle footage of the West Beach of Kachirho, on Kashyyyk, was used for the shooting of Dead Fantasy 2. Probably the reason why she was listed as one of the six lead actors: then again all six lead actors were people who personally took part in the battle on the beach.

[member="Summer Sovereign"]

Summer would continue to dance but stop as her tiara fell from her head. she would bend down to pick it up and smile "I would be honored to attend the premiere with you and yes your brain glows in the force."

[member="Jessica Med-Beq"]

Clearly Summer has been using space magic to spot that. Techniques available to NFUs included nuclear medicine, TEP or EEGs. But how Jessica imagined how strongly her frontal lobe glowed in the Force was more than her mental activity alone. She was mentally active, hyperactive even at times, so she knew to what extent her mental conditioning worked. But to Summer, Jessica's memory would be one big subconscious Force-sponge capable of absorbing astronomical amounts of data. Plus Dulvoyinn had no theater that would befit the galactic premiere of even a film like DF2, which was a feat in the holomovie world, to be produced in two weeks.

"You're making me blush at ultra-relativistic speed. But the premiere is not held here. It's on Druckenwell due to the sensitivity of the content - several factions have expressed concern about the content of said movie"

[member="Summer Sovereign"]

"I've heard a few Force-using circus mentalists back on Kuat hear about how they needed to cast spells to be as smart as I... Force-comprehension and Memory Enhancement. I'm afraid these spells would be of little effect if someone cast them on me, but do you use these spells yourself?"

As Jessica prepared to board the ship and initiate pre-flight sequence to Druckenwell, she realized that Summer needed to have some smarts of her own to say, OK, intellect is attractive, unless one was a complete moron who was unable to tell the intellectual difference between the average Joe and Jessica. But she knew Summer was anything but such a moron - one such moron would even find Anastasia to be a genius despite Anastasia being about average on that count. Jessica once performed as a mentalist at KDY's annual talent show but she preferred to be the kind that did memory feats or rapid manual calculations, but in mentalism shows she abstained from going into differential equations, even ordinary ones. Obviously it worked best on the people who did the more menial work but only Force-sensitive employees could match her in that aspect of a talent show.

[member="Summer Sovereign"]

"I have the spells but no I have only used them on myself once." She said smiling as she watched closely as she prepped the flight systems. She would walk up behind her and hug her from behind smiling
