Stardust placed a hand upon the window seal looking out among the busy city below, her thoughts like the speeders below, running around within her head. Pushing off the window she turned towards her computer as she turned it on watching the holographic screen and keys pop up and the many messages she needed to respond to. She started tapping quickly responding to a few that didnt need much attention before turning to the more important matters before sighing as she say back rubbing her chin in thought

After that little incident with three people stardust had been thinking on a way to bolster her police force....after a few minutes she had a idea or more of someone she knew had exactly what she wanted. Sending out a message she pressed send

To the CEO of vitae,
Hello, I was wondering if we could make a meeting arrangement about the vitae forces. If so please meet me at the palace on zeltros

The galaxy was a dangerous place. People were always attempting to do some sort of harm to others. Killing them, enslaving them, betraying them to others that would do either. Vile men and women existed in every system. And when your purpose in the galaxy was to stop such widespread evil, the need for help was obvious. Vulpesen was always looking for ways to expand, people to speak with and strike deals with. And when such an opportunity fell into his lap via holomessage, the Valde eagerly roused his diplomatic advisor and set off.

Zeltros was not a place that was unknown to the Valde. Indeed, he'd been there several times before, in different capacities. His first visit had been quite... eventful. How else do you describe a vacation that ends with a minor celebration being created by your circumstances? Of course, that didn't mean that he attended the annual running of the hookers. It was a beautiful place, and one where celebration was as natural as breathing. And as Vulpesen entered the planet, he looked over to his advisor, already seeing a smile creep upon Lucas' face, a little wilder than normal. "Seems I won't be the only one getting reminders to behave."

How do you prepare for a meeting with someone, why you look up facts about them and that's what stardust did. In fact she had found...a rather hilarious detail about the man she was going to be meeting...it seemed he was the cause for a small celebration the running of the hookers, stardust made a note to attend this and maybe even make a little game out of it but for now she had business to attend to. After her little research she ordered her meeting room to be cleaned up and drinks to be placed out

The table was set with eight chairs, enough that two small delegations could set and discuss, on it was some simple food, meats, cheeses, vegetables, and breads. Stardust got dressed in a casual business dress as she adjusted it and gave a smile before making her way to the meeting room to wait as she st down with a smile

cant wait to meet ra's friend, certainly sounds like a man I could get along with

She said to her advisor, a zeltron man by the name of Jameson who chuckled

Making his way to the meeting room, Vulpesen would cast a glance at Lucas before knocking on the door. The hand had so far offered him many benefits, one of which, was the ability to reach out to people such as Stardust, who had joined via other mutual friends. It made meetings and setups like this so much easier, while also offering his name to people without him having to be the one to reach out across the galaxy.

Jameson looked to stardust who nodded and motioned him to the door. Moving up to the door he opened it and stepped out of the way as stardust sgood up and gave a friendly smile, a sure difference from when she was in the field.

ah vulpesen! So glad you could make it, please please come in I have drinks and snacks for you and your delegate to enjoy while we talk

"Happy to be here your highness." Walking over to the table, Vulpesen took a glass and poured himself a drink while lucas simply walked to stand behind a hair, his hands clasped calmly before him. Among the Veran political circles, Vulpesen was known fairly well for being rash and unprofessional, working best in the moment and in high speed environments. In this way, Lucas was his exact opposite, a man of foresight who carried himself in an impeccably professional manner. "I believe you called me here about the Vitae Security Forces?"

yes, I've been looking to bolster my current police force and I've recently had a incident that has shown me it is dire to do so

She tapped a few buttons and a holo recording of cameras came up of the incident she spoke of, she kept silent as it played before pausing it

the response time of my police force was greatly delayed by the festival I've taken that I to account but after that it was a mess in my opinion....

Adjusting in her seat she cleared her throat

that's where you come in, I've done my research on your security force and I'm greatly impressed with them, I believe they can make my planet a safe place and I believe itll allow you q better reach

Watching the incident, Vulpesen rose a brow, leaning forward to observe every visible detail while Stardust broke down the situation for him. "Well, that certainly seems like a bit of trouble. But nothing my boys can't handle." He returned to his seat and looked back to her. "We can certainly help you with something like that. If you let us run a precinct around here, all we ask is that you pay them at least half wages, and we confiscate any items gathered in our investigations that aren't directly linked to your planet's security."

She turned off the hologram and sat forward a bit glancing around a bit around the room

I can let you do that and I'll pay half the wages, however I went a addendum put in,. I wish to have a little control over what goes on nothing major but...say should this planet be invaded I wish to be able to get in the loop...force forbid that ever happen but with the current times I know one day I must defend this planet

Listening to her terms, Vulpesen offered his advisor a sideways glance, catching the slight smile that appeared on Lucas' lips. "Seems we're on the same page then. Vitae within your precinct will of course be beholden to your rules, and it's very possible we'll recruit from the local populace. That being as it is, of course you'd have a say in any matters regarding your planet. We will be here to enforce your laws." Leaning back in his seat, Vulpesen took a long sip from his glass.

She nodded slowly, everything seemed set up perfectly and she was pleased with it honestly. Setting up she gave a smile

I believe this deal will be perfect...for the peace and assurance of zeltros and to promote your security forces to other planets and people. Is there anything else to this deal?

As it stood she was happy with it and had no issues...if anything excited to see the vitae at work

Downing the rest of his drink, Vulpesen rose up and extended a hand to Star, his smile turning into a full grin. "Everything seems in order to me miss Skirae. It'll be a pleasure working with you." Behind him, his tail was wagging slowly through the air, the tip occasionally flicking in enjoyment with the conclusion that the pair had reached. While he hadn't expected any trouble, it was certainly one of the easiest deals he had ever brokered.

Stardust rose as well, ahe reached out and shook his hand, a smile accompanying her as she nodded her head

it will indeed my friend, I eagerly await the first of your means arrival, when do you think theyll be here?

She was indeed curious as she had to get everything ready for them to arrive which included informing her police force. After that however everything would be settled and she knew then her worry would lessen

"I can have about a thousand mobilized and here within the week. However, there is one other issue we need to discuss." Remembering that there was at least one other issue on the docket, Vulpesen poured himself another glass. "You see, if we're gonna be working out of a precinct here, we'll need a precinct. Which means a building to operate out of. Now, we aren't too picky where you want to put it, and we'll certainly cover a measure of the construction. But we ask that you not put us on either of the poles, and please keep in mind that the closer we are to the population, the faster we can respond."

perfect perfect...ah certainly right I cant believe I forgot about having a place for your people to set up my apologies, we have several buildings here that are not being her in fact they are within the main population area however I think constructing a new building will be better as them we dont have to worry about modifying any existing buildings

She pressed a button bringing up a top down view of the capital city, showing the buildings and the palace as she pointed to a rea right by the palace

what do you think of having it righ next to the palace...its centralized and I can get to it quickly if need be

Leaning in towards the hologram, Vulpesen followed her gestures, examining each area. Then as she pointed out an area by her palace, he couldn't help but smile. "That would be perfect, more than we could hope for." He brought his glass to his lips, taking another sip. Between the smooth burn of the alcohol and the easy deals, it was certainly shaping up to be a good day. "The buildings you have now can at least serve as a palce for us to set up until we can renovate. And I'm sure we can make do with what's already there.Just have to knock down a few walls."

perfect perfect, I believe a perfect place would be here, perfect empty building and if I remember cleared out used to be for a slave smuggling ring but I took care of that....also a perfect view for a certain festival called "the running of the hookers"...heard some zorren accidentally made it but quite a hilarious thing


She said giving him a smirk as she closed the hologram down, picking up her own glass finally she took a sip. Her dream of keeping her planet safe was just a step closer now, leaning back she nodded

after we conclude I'll make sure so obstruction is started of the precinct

Vulpesen's face momentarily turned a bright red and he felt Lucas' inquisitive gaze boring into the side of his skull. "Thankfully, I was more human at the time. Should help me go unnoticed in that... And for the record, I blame a certain ex-grand chancellor for what happened that day." Vulpesen shuddered a bit a the memory. Over ten years ago, he had woken up cuffed to a street lamp with seven... 'lovely ladies' as company. A lock pick later, and he had been running mostly naked through the streets with Ace on his shoulder, chased by seven zeltrosian women. How was he to know it'd turn into a race with naked men, scantily clad women, stuffed dogs, and shenanigans?

She cleared her throat and stood as she offered a smirk that melted into a friendly smile

She said taking a drink of her wine she had before setting it down as her advisor made sure to note everything

"Mhmm... side splitting." The Valde took another drink from his glass. "I think we've basically covered everything we need to. I'll need to get back to Veradune so i can start the process of gathering my boys." After giving his advisor a nod, he hung back while his Lucas walked towards the door. "We'll stay in touch. And as I said before, you can expect the first troops within about a week.'
