DESCRIPTION
To all things there is a season - that was Messala's philosophy. The Sith Lord specialized in creating tech designed for extremely specific situations and unique beings. Always on the hunt for those in need of peculiar equipment or solutions to unfair situations, he strove to come up with solutions for the forgotten and ignored issues facing the denizens of the galaxy.

The company was based out of Cophrigin V, a remote planet within TSE occupied space, up until the planet was invaded by the Bryn'adul. Messala fled to Dahrtag, a planet within GA space, and was in hiding there when old enemies finally caught up with him.

Following Messala's untimely disappearance, the company was left without a head. A mysterious woman named Bithia soon seized control.

The company does not discriminate in who it sells to, at least not on the basis of faction allegiance. Private requests are handled on a case-by-case basis, but the company is open to reviewing any ideas and requests that may come its way. Replacing Messala as heads of the alchemy department are the wild duo of Khayyam and Silas Fogg, Sith-trained alchemists who are being wrangled by Bithia into turning their talents toward more benevolent causes.

RATIONALE
Long story short, Messala took out a loan from a bank and used it to fund his own upstart business. That would've happened a while back, maybe 20-25 years ago? Since then, the company has not expanded much, primarily due to Messala stubbornly refusing to hand over control to a more business-minded CEO who could make good financial decisions. It was still making money, but not as much as it could've been making. This seemed to suit Messala just fine, seeing as he had little interest in becoming ultra rich, only in acquiring the funds for his latest project without relying on investors.

Under the new leadership, the company is hoping to expand and become involved in "humanitarian" projects. In reality, they are focusing almost entirely on alchemy these days.
