Private Footprints in the sand

Jesse looked at it with some amusement as she stretched before she was reaching out with the force and lifting the ship. Using the force to suspend it and keep it in place for a moment and then it was there as Mari and Etain were pushing it. Letting Seren help her lift it so they could position it and guilia was looking up while Mugen was measuring again and again to make small adjustments so that the ship would be in the best position. Lowering it and Guilia didn't get out of the hole she was in she was taking a moment when it was positions into the sand and Mugen was pushing it down lower and lower until it had resistance. Then lowering the ramp aagain to get the doors opened and Mari and Etain were moving with Ru and Ginger as they were adjusting the rocks and metal with the ship now. Mugen was bringing parts around on the far side while the sounds from inside of the ship came and Guilia was there coming out later. "It is drying but it will be sealed."

Seren worked with Jesse to keep the vessel suspended while Mari and Etain guided it into position. Rather than trying to control the entire movement herself, she focused on supporting the ship's weight and responding to the adjustments Mugen signaled from below. The process required patience, especially when the smallest adjustment could make a considerable difference in how the hull settled into the prepared space. As the others maneuvered it into place, Seren gradually eased her hold through the Force, allowing the ship to descend at a controlled pace while Jesse maintained her own support. Only when the vessel settled firmly into the sand, and Mugen appeared satisfied with its placement, did she finally release her concentration, rolling her shoulders to relieve the tension that had built up during the effort. "Well, that was considerably easier with several of us working together. I'd hate to imagine trying to position that thing alone."

She stepped aside to give the others room as the ramp was lowered and work resumed around the hull. With Mari, Etain, Ru, and Ginger adjusting the surrounding materials, Seren lent a hand wherever an extra pair of hands was useful, shifting loose stones and heavier scrap into reach without disturbing anything already secured. When Guilia finally emerged and announced that the material was drying but would be sealed, Seren glanced toward the newly positioned vessel with quiet satisfaction. What had been little more than wreckage was gradually becoming something useful, and she had to admit there was a certain pleasure in seeing their efforts take shape. "That's encouraging. It looks a great deal more promising than it did when we started." She brushed the sand from her palms and looked between Guilia and Mugen, content to follow their lead rather than interfere with work they understood better than she did. "Is there anything else that needs holding or moving while the seal finishes drying? I'm happy to keep helping."

Jesse was looking at it and Mugen came around as he was pointing. "There is, the walkway over the ell enclosure." He was pointing and it was just near the back of the ship at the side. "The next step among many is to make an opening there, some small adjustments to the walkway itself so it can connect and give another way in and back way out." He said it and Jesse was following while he walked around and the nose of the ship was there able to observe the pathway they had with the jungles side able to be seen but also the doorway and more parts. "We can dig out some of the sand, reinforce with metala nd stone here to give it height and distance but it will allow a dip that allows someone in the cockpit to stab downwards with a spear."

Seren followed Mugen around the ship, studying the walkway and the area beneath the cockpit as he explained his intentions. Another entrance would be useful, especially if something blocked their primary exit. The defensive advantage was equally appealing, though she hoped they would never have to test how effectively someone could repel an attacking creature from above with a spear. "A second exit sounds sensible. And having somewhere to defend the approach without exposing ourselves too much certainly wouldn't hurt." She glanced toward the jungle, then returned her attention to the sand beneath the proposed connection.

She could do plenty to help without interfering with the structural work. Seren extended her awareness through the Force and began drawing loose sand away from the area Mugen had indicated, depositing it a short distance from the construction site. She worked carefully, removing manageable amounts rather than risking the ground's stability around the ship. "I can help clear this out while you work on the reinforcements," she offered, looking toward Mugen and Jesse. "Just tell me when I've gone deep enough. I'd rather not undermine something we've only just finished putting into place."
