First Reply Foolish Decisions, Stumbling Lost

Location: Naboo - Shiraya Temple
Outfit: Smuggler
Equipment: Blaster Pistol, Lightsaber Pike, Legs
Tag: Open

This was a bad decision but Kat was on a string of bad decisions and she figured that another one tacked on wouldn't do any harm to her. Lily had provided the location of the temple to Kat years ago, when she first shifted to Naboo. Hoping the drunken heartbroken healer would come to offer the training and help that Kat could provide. However, Kat was far too stubborn and resistant to the idea that she would simply come running when her niece called, just because she was without a goal. But since Manaan, Lily's offer seemed far more tempting and Kat figured that she was in the area anyway so what harm could there be in checking out what these Jedi were up to.

Who knows, she might stumble into one that could use her help with a job? The fancy Naboo Jedi had to have decent amounts of credits for work. They lived like they did at least.

Drinking from the flask that she had on her person. Kat looked at the ramp with a heavy sigh, stubborn reluctance burned under her skin to just turn around and leave. Lily didn't know she would be here and it wasn't like she wanted to be a Jedi again. That path was something she never thought herself right for again. Kat's priorities were never the Jedi, nor the cause. It was individuals. It was people she loved. That had always been what drove Kat the most. Finishing the flask, she tipped it and shook it. Making sure the flask was properly empty. Throwing the empty flask back in the ship, Kat stepped down the ramp and onto the temple's hangar bay ground.

"Fuck it." Kat muttered to herself as she combed her fingers through her hair as she stumbled a little as she wandered through the Jedi temple. Curious to see what was going to be happening in this temple but also curious to see who would be about. News about the Jedi were not suggesting there were going to be many roaming around. It was kind of hilarious in a dark, depressing way how things fell down a dark hole for herself as well as the Jedi. "Maybe the Jedi as a whole need to embrace some drinking..." Kat laughed to herself as she walked.

SHIRAYA'S SANCTUARY
NABOO

He'd just been returning to Shiraya's Sanctuary, himself. The X-Wing he flew was no longer both home and transport, and as much as staying in a temple wasn't meant to be a permanent situation, getting out had become, for various reasons, less of a priority. He could live with the ways it got to him, the limitations his own beliefs placed on him, when duty pulled him away often enough.

Shrugging the rest of the way into his jacket as he passed another arrival, he was intent on heading to the quarters that had been his for more than a year, but something the Echani said to herself — why would she be talking to him, anyway? — caused Rik to slow his stroll and look at her. Really look, and consider that she wasn't like any Echani he had ever met. Particularly not with the attitude she was packin'.

Not that he'd ever met that many Echani.

"Some of us do," he replied, nonchalantly; then, with a firm, yet conspiratorial whisper, "but not here."

And he knew that wasn't just him that took it elsewhere. But was drink embraced by most? He couldn't say. Very individual decision, like it was for anyone, and he didn't know everyone.
