Description:
When those who would become the First Order began to unite on Eriadu there was one simple consensus. The Stormtrooper would be the First Order’s go to military Force. Due to the Supreme Leader’s extreme faith in the advancement of his army the task of determining the class of this new and more accessible Stormtrooper fell upon the backs of the Supreme Commander, his Generals and a small team of engineers from various backgrounds.

The original armour of the Remnant Forces as well as that of the Sith military was picked apart and reversed into a design that was fast removed as it was too bulky and expensive for the common foot soldier. Instead the Supreme Commander issued a design element that would stick throughout the armours development.

Sleek, effective and a tool for the First Order to use psychologically.

What came about was a more streamlined version of any stormtrooper armour that had come before. Gone were the numerous bumps and lumps that housed many of the suits systems, each now broken done to base elements so that an intricate interior computing system could run all of the systems nessecary within the smallest surface space possible.

The basic fundamentals of the suit remained however, at it’s core and Imperial Stormtrooper. The base armour was made of several components constructed out of light weight Plastoid. These would be assembled over a sealing bodysuit creating a suit that could survive the vacuum of space for anything up to twenty minutes at a time. The concept was simple and effective, with the glove and the separate components energy would be dispersed across the armour rather than through it allowing a trooper to survive shots that would incapacitate his enemy. Testing proved successful, but in the field high energy or overcharged shots remained a threat as they caused punctures through the armour itself, the power not allowing a dispersal of energy.

A Duraplast reinforcement was added along the gauntlets and forearms, intended to allow the Stormtrooper to use his own limbs as blocking weapons as well as delivering a heavily lethal blow when swung right.

Most of the suits advancement came from the helmet of the Stormtrooper itself. These advancements came from a more systematic scanning and heads up display unit. The stormtrooper would have all the information necessary for his mission displayed in realtime to the holographic display within his helmet on demand. He would also have full access to First Order communication channels through the three phase com link installed directly into their helmet. Realising the potential security risk a genetic transponder was placed within each troopers armour that would disconnect the unit from the system should an unauthorised user done the helmet.

A level of modularity was included within the armour allowing for specialist units. Such units were:

Heavy Ordanance Stormtrooper:

A simple bandolier system that allowed a stormtrooper to bare the added weight of their weaponry and ammunition reserves was added to the base armour.

Incinerator Stormtroopers:

These troopers carry Opressor Flamethrowers and the helmet of such troopers was rebuilt to allow for more advanced chemical and smoke filters. The eyes were also narrowed and completely polarised on command to allow for direct targeting while their weapon was on full projectile.

Cold Assault Stormtroopers:

The under suit was rebuilt from the ground up to act as an additional layer of thermal protection. An isolation system was added to the armour with the internal systems being regulated by manual controls located on the chest plate itself. The lenses of the helmet were polarised against snow glare almost exclusively and the faceplate itself was extended to allow for recirculated air to prevent ice buildup within the helmet thanks to the atmospheric filter.

A simple command structure was added to the armours themselves.
A Sergeant would done a white pauldron across their right shoulder.
A Commander would wear a brown pauldron across their right shoulder.

Weight: The armour has been specially designed to be light weight and flexible while still maintaining a high level of durability and protection. Each suit weighs around 7-9kg.
Please remove the red (I almost didn't find the weight because of the text at first glance) and please settle on a definite weight. 8 or 9 KG would fit fine.

Note: You can state which armor variation weighs what, like X Kg (Cold Assault); X Kg (Incinerator) etc.
But I do expect a variance of quality if armor weighs in below 8 KG.

Removed the red as requested. Haven't placed variance weights in. Other than the Cold Assault I can't see there being to much of a weight difference to be honest and even then we're probably only looking at increased weight due to addition fatigues and thicker webbing.
