Description: Flashpoint Spaceport is one of the main passenger spaceports of Cademimu, with the control tower overlooking a massive terminal comprising hundreds of gates for various sizes of passenger ships, up to ~200 meters in length due to it being located among the cityscape of Cademimu's capital city. However, due to its subpar cargo processing facilities, it is advised for companies operating at the Flashpoint Spaceport not to carry excessive amounts of cargo. Terminal 1 features docking bays built into the terminal building, protecting ships from the elements, with eight wide-open landing pads on the upper levels, attached to the control tower, for accommodating larger ships, whereas terminal 2 comprises outside platforms exposing ships to the elements. Over the years, nearby buildings were converted into additional terminals.
History: Built ca. 3700 BBY, the Flashpoint Spaceport (today's Terminals 1 and 2) was one of the key strategic locations in the Cademimu Uprising, which resulted in Chornarov removed from office on Cademimu. After the Cold War ended, Flashpoint Spaceport remained largely unscathed by the events of the galaxy at large, but due to political squabbling about land use lasting well into the Yuuzhan Vong War, a replacement spaceport couldn't be built to its intended purpose and instead remained confined to cargo ships for millenia, thereby forcing the conversion of nearby buildings into additional docking bays. Its owners dutifully maintained the spaceport, making it one of the best-preserved relics from the Sith Wars.
