Fishboy & Forcegirl

With his energy sapped, the Nautolan was channeling the Force into his extremities.

As his blade was deflected downward, the boy took a step back to create a break in the flow of energy between them. The child was breathing more heavily than was normal, his shoulders bowed with the signs of fatigue. Swallowing, the child brought his lightsaber back and up, dropping into the aggressive and open stance of Form V -- mirroring the movement and stance which Cronos had adopted. As the blond knight moved forward, the Nautolan stepped in to close the gap between the two.

Instead of concentrating on speed, the boy was focusing on maintaining his strength and stamina. Already, the lightsaber felt as though it weighed twice normal in his hands. He brought it up to block, pushed back a step as Cronos moved forward. Bringing the blade across, the boy deflected the first sweep. Another step back. Bringing the blade across his body, the child stepped around into a vertical block to counter the second sweep.

Instead of getting caught underneath the overhead slash, the boy stepped out to one side even as he brought his lightsaber up and over -- trying to guide the knight's blade out and away from the child even as he worked to hook the point of his own lightsaber underneath the knight's guard. He would then attempt a disarm, pulling up with the hope that his blade would intersect the lightsaber emitter on Cronos' lightsaber.

Zak matched Cronos cut for cut, slash for slash. Admirable, especially considering the fatigue that Cronos could feel emanating from him. The young Nautolan knocked his Falling Avalanche aside, using Cronos' own force against him to facilitate guiding the blade to the ground.

Zak wasn't his padawan, but the knight was proud all the same. The youngling had displayed an understanding of Djem So on a fundamental level with that one move.

He'd shown enough, Cronos decided. Zak rotated his blade so that it slid under Cronos' own. The former Inquisitor mimicked the motion, blades whirring around one another, to guide Zak's blade up and away. Motion completed, he stepped back and deactivated his blade. A hand waved paused the trainibg remotes as well.

"Considering how well the both of you performed, I believe we can forgo our final duel. Get some rest," he told them. "You both deserve it."

Morgana had done as she was tasked while they fought, trying to follow the move of [member="Cronos Aegir"] while he in-turn trained [member="Zak Dymo"] . The little padawan had proven more effective in the fighting than she had, but perhaps it was due to his speed and size compared to her; or that he did not hesitate as she had. At least by the time it was done Zak had managed to hold out longer than she did, something she gave him credit for. She stopped when the remotes did before looking over to Master Cronos as he told the they could rest. She sighed with relief before bowing to him out of respect.
"Thank you, Master." she added before feeling the need to walk back to her quarters and flop down on her bed.
