Caelen_Tercept

Got an interest with a Twi'Lek~?
One. Two...

As a child, Tercept was always fascinated about how people walked. Perhaps it was because that's the most he could see from people. He recorded mentally every step one would take, and this habit would push right onto adulthood. He noticed how many walked. Ewoks were what he mostly knew, along with Wookies. Fluffy guys. Was it strange he never saw a Wookie Jedi? Maybe he should convince someone to do that. Well, the Wookie in question would have to be force sensitive.

One, two, three...

Jedi's, however. They were weird with steps. Always seemed to be dancing, human jedi steps were different from human steps. It was a strange process Tercept went through...

Dozing off many minutes later, Caelen awoke to the sound of more steps. Sitting up, he immediately punched his chest, cringing. Still no Exosuit. A shrug from him, as he understood he can do this without it. He stood up, collecting most of the necessary weapons that he usually used, and looked about, awaiting those where were meant to fight with him. Even though he understood he could probably do it on his own. Well, that was to him. Either way, wait a yawn, he examined one of the DET packs he had, and then looked to the remote detonator.

The day was neutral, a sun filled day with too much of a breeze, flattened grass and some metal 'seats' Tercept lugged around for the others to sit on were also there, while he casually relaxed under the nearest tree, simply awaiting to hear the footsteps of organic life-forms.

(Tried my best, rip.)

The Silver Jedi had some of the galaxy's most advanced vessels at their disposal, but sometimes the best trick for stealth was hiding in plain sight. So that's the track that Arisa took in meeting with Tercept and some other resistance fighters today, landing at the secret agreed upon site in a rather pedestrian YT light freighter.

The whole way down, Arisa had been looking for some kind of structure on scanners at the given coordinates, then by her own eyes as she came within visual range. There was nothing there but an expanse of grassy knolls dotted by trees here and there. There would only be a single lifeform and some small craft in the immediate vicinity.

"Looks like we're here, I suppose," Arisa would announce over the ship's intercom system. "Let's check it out."

She stretched, then stepped off the freighter by the main landing ramp.
It was quite warm outside, with strong breezes that sent her long dark locks brushing across her face until she tucked her hair behind her ears. On the ground, she would find a small array of barrels set out before a nearby tree, where she would spot the source of the earlier lifeform signature. She recognized him as Tercept from their holo-calls leading up to this meeting.

Now smiling, she would give him a wave as she approached, dressed comfortably in casual wear common for a Core World urbanite - the Jedi was never one for robes, getting a late start in her training on Coruscant.

"Caelen
Tercept, I presume? I'm Arisa Yune, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Like many natives of the Core Worlds, she spoke with a crisp Coruscanti accent.

Not every courtesy call demands attendance, Yusana.

Those were the words first spoken to the Echani by her father - by all means a proud man of both philosophy and means. This world was different. Calm, but different. It lay on the outer rim, and yet it teamed with greenery and wildlife as if it were a well-developed and preserved core world along the inner rim. There was enough grass and rolling meadow here to keep herds of animals for nursery, but then again, what did Yusana Fenni know - she was many things: blacksmith, blademaster, but a biologist, perhaps not quite; at least beyond the standard scientific journal. Free spirit that she was, she traveled light today. Her protector armor remained on board her ship, and she merely walked around in a flowing white, light fiberweave suit with a kama that flowed downward from her waist. Beneath it was her Arkanian heavy blaster, but that was about it. Echani were never known to be heavily armed or armored, but that always allowed them the flexibility and room for grace.

Over there. Lifeforms.

She could feel the presence of two by that tree yonder there, just around the hill that now faced her. By no means was Yusana force sensitive, but that didn't mean her Echani senses were dulled or average by any sense - far be it from that. She could predict the movement of someone hiding behind a wall of she really focused, but of course that was more difficult a feat to accomplish when exposed to other variables - blaster fire, for example. She said nothing as she approached the two near-humans, not even a wave or a nod of acknowledgement as she calmly but briskly approached them. Her skin was pale, and only outdone by her hair and the white glow of her clothing. Her eyes were a bright green with some tints of yellow towards the pupil in the middle.

She gave both an indifferent but rather intense stare as she stood before them - not hostile, but clearly not one familiar with the concept of hospitality either. A small half-smirk appeared on her face as she looked the two straight in the eye, but briefly turned around to see if anyone else was coming. "My name is Yusana Fenni." Her voice had that haunting but sing-song quality to it, typical of the Echani.

Yuroic heard Arisa call that they had arrived. He had been brought on this secret meeting, unsure what it entailed but he was prepared for anything and everything. Especially because he knew stuff would go wrong. Always did when they had planned missions. Irony made him chuckle deeply before he grabbed his sabers and clipped them to his hilt. His robes were of a darker colour than previously. He adopted a deep and dark green to his cloak and the dark grey and almost black robes underneath the cloak were well fitted.

Flicking the hood over his head, blocking his face. He stepped out of the ship onto the ground of the planet. He looked around trying to guess where they were. It was to no avail as he found himself lost with the stars being in complete different positions to Voss, a night sky he had learnt well in past months of his training. Yuroic looked at others that had joined them before standing next to his Master. He remained silent as she spoke with the male Twi'lek. His anger built when his mind pictured the man as his former abusive slave master, however, he reminded himself that it was not him and he needed to move forward.

The darkness lays ever near the light.
Darren simply sat, doing practically nothing as their frieghter sped through the galaxy. He had agreed to join his comrades on this journey knowing not of the exact details but only the words that she had extended to him - "It is something that will be of great interest and benefit to you.". The ship cut through space like a knife through butter, he was surprised of how smooth the ride was - of course not being used to being on fully functional, new, vessels. He came relatively prepared for everything, his trusty duffle bag with him as always. It's contents were the same as usual, Darren's arsenal of weapons with a few miscellaneous items and modules, nothing special. He had no incline as to why they were heading to this location, or even where this location was, yet he wasn't scared. He knew that everyone on the ship could handle themselves in a fight, specifically Arisa, himself and Colonel Calderon.

The man took a long look outside the window as the ship entered the planet's atmosphere. It was beautiful here, undeveloped, untouched, perfect. This place is the type of place that Darren had always planned to retire to in later life. It was almost barren of human life, it was peaceful and out of the way, everything about it... It was exactly what he had been looking for. He looked forward to getting his feet on the ground, to get a chance to properly survey the place. When he stepped off, the air only fuelled his growing love for the location. It was a perfect temperature, a tiny bit on the stuffy side, but nothing too drastic. He had his duffle bag over his shoulder, stepping down from the ship with a slight spring in his step alongside the rest of the group. Much like the others, he followed Grandmaster Yune closely.

Taking a long look around, a smile grew on his face. He actually had his helmet off for once - it was in his bag - and so his happiness was easily seen by the rest of the group. The Zabrak wasn't quite watching his step, and so he tripped slightly though quickly saved himself, from falling, not from embarrassment. A slightly embarrassed Darren decided to focus on walking instead of the lush flora around him, and the figure of a Twi'lek came to his attention, close to him were a set of barrel. What were in those barrels? Darren was yet to find out. He smiled, keeping quiet and letting Arisa do the talking for now.

Dagos followed along with the group as they descended the ship. He'd followed along with Grandmaster Yune and a small contingency of other Jedi and rangers from the Silver order. Dagos had taken to hanging around the grandmaster since his true master Jairdain was lost but this was his first mission off world with her. Master Yune, Yuroic, one of the rangers, and Dagos disembarked and made contact with a Twi-lek and a young Echanti woman.

Dagos milled about on the edge of the group kicking at a rock he found on the ground, every so often stealing glances at the Echanti. If she noticed him at all she would get a welcoming half smile from him.

Jerit was participating in self reflection. He was reflecting on past events, trying to tell himself about how to make things different and better for himself and the people around him. This is what he mainly did if he did not meditate. As the party was descending to meet someone of secrecy, Jerit was ready for any kind of hostile action. He had his lightsaber clipped to his belt and was always aware of it. He wore his Jedi garments with a robe of which the hood would cover his face. He was with his fellow Jedi colleagues and friends, ready to exit the ship.

When the party exited the ship, Jerit made sure to conceal his face to give a more mysterious presence to the person they were to meet. Who ever they were, they most certainly would not want to mess around. Jerit was just a tad paranoid, but paranoid sometimes can save you. If things went bad, Jerit would know how to handle the situation. Now Arisa Yune was talking to a male Twi'lek.

I guess this is the person we were supposed to meet? He thought.

He felt anger through the force and Jerit found the source. It was Yuroic. He turned his head to him and nodded, trying to give some body language of assurance. That Jerit would be there for him.

"If I expected the whole club to come I would've brought my actual tools. Yes, I'm Caelen Tercept. And you're looking lovely, as are you." He nodded to the other arrival with a smile. He examined everyone, and then went to sit down. "Phew. You're all a bunch of berries, huh." He'd say, mostly to himself. With a raised eyebrow, he just continued to examine them all. The first one who arrived was the one he was mostly interested in. The sound of grass being crushed was heard, as what looked to be a spray painted droidecka rolled in, stopping next to tercept, and forming up, the shield glazing over its body as it expanded into a bubble. "Gun down, we don't want them to think I'm going to immediately attack." He chuckled, and shook his head. The droid sent the guns down, as tercepts hand bypassed the shield, rubbing it's top gently, looking back at them. He moved onto the next one. The other female, and nodding. "Hello, Yusani? Yeah. I think I said that right. You all can take a seat if you oh-so-desire." He'd say, going to move his other hand, ushering them towards the barrels. The breeze would show off his trench coat, and what was under it. A bowcaster, EMP launcher, and two Dl-44's, along with a compact disc. "Right. So, what're we doing this book club meeting?"

Colonel Valkren Calderon stepped down off of the transport and onto the landing pad, speaking to the group he walked with as they moved to the supposed rendezvous. Along with his fellow members of the SJO, he had Darren and two other rangers tagging along with the group as an 'escort.'

Clad in civillian clothing with a protective vest overtop of his jacket, complete with a kit for magazines and utilities to go along with the Grendel assault ripper that he gripped tightly as they moved forward.

"Heads on the swivel, men." They may have been meeting with Rebel supporters, but that didn't mean he liked the conditions of the meet. Rebel types worried him, as some could be so loyal to a cause that it would make them turn on anyone. Then again, some are so loyal that they'd do anything to reach their goal, which was determination that he loved to see amongst his own men.

Once Arisa made contact with the contact, he eased up slightly with his posture as he watched the interaction become much more friendly than he initially anticipated. That was how Arisa did it though, she was friendly to everyone that wasn't holding a weapon to their heads.

He thought too soon, moments later a seemingly personalized droideka rolled out beside the rebel, pointing it's weapons at the newcomer. His two rangers stood in place, lifting their weapons at the ready, prepared for anything that came next. After several more moments of conversation, the droid stood down and the rebel asked for them all to sit. The young officer would watch as Arisa and his group followed after him, shifting his gaze to the one the Twi'lek called 'Yusana.' She seemed to be a curious case to him, but only time would tell.

He was beginning to enjoy the job when they weren't getting shot at..They sure met some unusual characters in their time off the battlefield, and even on it. He'd let his rifle hang from his chest sling, running a gloved hand through his dirty blonde hair as the other two rangers waited for his orders.

"Right then..Harris, Lowder..Pull security until further notice. Don't want anymore visitors without us knowing." He'd state this in their three person group, letting his two men disperse into their positions and get comfortable. Valk' watched them as they moved to their positions, his men ever vigilant after their recent training binge. The young ranger made his way to the seats the rebel pointed out, but he did not sit..Instead he shifted his weight idly onto his right leg, hand still resting on the grip of his weapon as he waited for more words from their grandmaster.

She felt a flash of anger from Yuoric as he came face to face with Tercept. The sensation initially puzzled her, as the man represented no threat, but then she would remember Yuroic's history as a slave and understand.

Please relax she communicated to her apprentice directly through telepathy. All is well, you're safe.

As for Tercept he commented on his surprise of seeing so many show up for his little meeting. However, Arisa knew that there was no shortage of people out there looking to do the right thing, Jedi or not.

"Worse case scenario, we all go hang out the lounge of my ship," she offered as she took her seat upon one of the barrels.

She couldn't help but tense as a Destroyer Droid came rolling up to the party, having been on the receiving end of their twin blasters of several occasions over the years, but would relax as
Tercept called to it. Clearly, the droid was with him, sporting some unique decals.

"Thank you all for coming out here today," she would start addressing the whole group, including
Valkren and his men standing off acting as guards. "I'm sure that I'm not the only one that sees the problems that current wrack the galaxy. Cruel empires, corporations, and other entities that prey upon the helpless and create a perpetual cycle of war for their own benefits. I refuse to accept that the galaxy has to be this way. There was a time, before the Long Night (Gulag Plague), that the galaxy experienced a golden age where nearly everyone was at peace with their neighbors. Conflict still existed, as it always will, but they managed to settle their difference amicably. I like to think we can return to that state, or better. But we can't do that sitting idly by in our corners and holes and allow the galaxy to burn. I'm ready to stand up and do something."

A secret meeting on a secret planet with a secret individual to meet with other secret types, secretly, how could Thane pass that up? He couldn't, not when it meant a potential ally. So, Thane put on his best trench coat, filled his flask full of whiskey and dawned his new signature wide brimmed hat he stole while in Imp space. Hoping into his Nevermore Bomber, Wild Turkey, he blasted off from the hangar of Home One, which was holding at the edge of the secret system of he secret planet, secretly.

At top speed he reached the planet in a few minutes. His stealth paneling gave him a sort of ambiguity that he fancied, being the Benefactor of the Rebel Alliance, it was fun for him to play tinker, tailor, soldier, spy. As he entered atmos, he used the on board Comms Jammer as he neared the group below. Pulling a wide bank, he landed the ship and let it roll all the way up to the edge of the Silver Jedi shuttle. The nose of his ship just mere inches away from the tail of the shuttle. Before the engines were even finished powering down, Thane hopped down and strolled over to the group with a swagger that spoke of his theatrical nature. Beneath his hat, a wide grin sprawled across his face. He hadn't had this much fun in a while.

Yusana chose to remain silent, preferring to observe the motley crew that had gathered to answer the summon. As an Echani, she never liked being in the presence of so many outlanders, as their different ways tended to misunderstanding. And yet, she was forced to admit, at least to herself, that this was the only way she'd ever get anywhere. Factions like the Galactic Alliance or the Silver Jedi were for the most part benevolent as far as Yusana was concerned, however every organization had its flaws. As an Echani, she just chose the prudent path of discretion, and to let the blind wander blind - such was their fate. She barely so much as flinched at the droideka that deployed by its owners side, nor at the blaster rifles being pointed about. These were distractions, she reminded herself - noise that clouded people's true intentions. Posturing was such a base and superficial aspect of combat, and the Echani was quick to dismiss it as anyone would flattery or the puffing of the chest so as to portray oneself as more dangerous and vitalic than one actually was. These were irrelevant, and she didn't judge any party on the basis of pettiness either. True character, to an Echani, lay elsewhere (hint: combat).

She paid no one notice nor gave anyone else a glance, but was careful not to come off as too passive-aggressive or cocky - far from it. Her lack of expression was a genuine expression in and of itself - she saw none here as a threat, and did not intend to be a threat to anyone in attendance herself - one of the subtler Echani mediums of communication. As Arisa spoke up again, finally opening the subject of why they'd all been called here, Yusana let out a small sigh of contentment and relief. Watching people arrive was never a pleasantry, a task almost as droning and pointless as opening formalities.

"We see entities like the Imperial Remnants and the First Order plaguing the galaxy with their lack of self-control. We see the Mandalorians and their volatility, the Outer Rim Coalition and their anarchy, and even within our own ranks - we have many enemies."

Yuroic looked away with deep embarrassment when he heard his Master's voice in his mind. He used the Force to send a reply back, Sorry Master, it was just the man looks so much like the slaver who abused me as a child it was difficult to separate them. I am now calm and fine, merely a temporary lapse. Before looking around he let out a deep breath and emptied his mind of thoughts from his past. Needing to be with the now, he noticed the Echani, another stranger was coming in from a different ship and there were a large number of Silver members with them.

Interesting to see such high numbers in a secret meeting, especially with Padawans like himself there as well, he was curious to see how the proceedings would go forth. Remaining silent as was his place, he did not know the intentions of the meeting and why he was here but knew it must be important and his presence was necessary. His Master would not bring him on a wasteful journey, for it was more importantly a waste of her valuable time, which she did not have much of.

Jerit remained silent during the whole meeting. He had heard what everyone said and kept to himself. When the Destroyer came up Jerit was instinctively putting his hand on his lightsaber. But then he waiting and the droid posed no immediate threat so he put his hands back into his robe. He was sensing what everybody was feeling and it seemed normal to him. His mind wondered a bit. He looked to everybody until his eye lied upon Colonel Valkren. Jerit smiled and turned back to the meeting at hand. This was a serious time and no mistakes are to be made.

He saw the Enchani woman with other silvers behind her.

A secret meeting indeed. Jerit chuckled to himself so that only he can hear it.

Now he was just standing there listening intently to Master Arisa and the Twi'kek, while secretly meditating to himself...

The group of magik users had congregated around this Twi'lek, who had an ancient droideka. He hadn't seen their kind in, well, never actually. Just in archives of the old wars.

"Howdy, so many people invited to a secret meeting about us rebel types, I'm flattered that we'd garner such an audience. Well hello dolly!" He spoke with a jovial, playful tone, until his eyes rested upon a beautiful Echani. Arisa was always a favorite of his, but he'd never seen this young flower before.

He slid up to her side with a wink and a grin. "Come here often, haha, just playing." He slid an arm around her lower back, testing the waters. So to speak.

"This the guy? Welcome brother, I am Thane. Most call me Drunk, ladies call me whatever they want, pleased to meet you all. Arisa, looking younger by the day, I swear you saber swayers got magik in yuh. Keep you looking like time doesn't exist."

Caelen would look at the many now here, examining them all. "Shame. Thought I was going to get alone time with Arisa. Just screwing with ya. Right. As of right now, I'll have you talk. What do you need, and I'll oblige on my own conditions. The first thing is: This isn't a recruitment. While I'm not joining your jedi's, I would rather like to be with you all as more of an ally. Maybe a sub-section of Rebels under my order, that is under your order. And that's another thing. IF this is going to be some big rebel thing, I'd really much prefer to lead my own group of rebels. A buddy system as well could be made, if you don't already have it. Gunner and Jedi. I was hoping that's what we could do on my side. If any of that doesn't sound okay to you Arisa, let me know. Now. It's rather obvious you didn't bring yourself out here to listen to me tell you what I would prefer to have. Share what you need, and most likely, I'll happily oblige to all of it. From our past talks, I'm liking your order. It's not corrupt, thankfully."

[member="Arisa Yune"]

Arisa nodded slightly as Yuroic calmed down and explained himself. She understood the cause of the reaction, so she wouldn't make a fuss out of it among the group.

Caelen turned out to be quite the jokester in his opener, which made her smirk in amusement. He gave her terms which made it clear that he had no intention of formally joining up with the Silver Order or the Antarian Rangers. In fact, he wanted to run his own little operation.

"The curse of popularity, I'm afraid," she quipped. "I'm not looking to recruit anyone into the fold. My only objective here is to find other people willing to fight along side me for what is right. Also sometimes, it's nice to have more independent characters who can operate with more flexibility."

"As long as you abide by the Silver's rules of engagement, then we'll be happy to supply your team and provide what assistance we can for your operations. No wonton destruction, no cruel or unusual punishment. In the application of violence, it must be precisely targeted to achieve optimal results with minimal bloodshed. As what we need from you and other resistance fighters is support in conducting operations behind enemy lines in denied areas where we don't want our involvement advertised. Direct military support will be provided, but we would like groups like yours to spearhead these operations."

"Thank you for the compliment. The Silver Order isn't perfect, but we try our best with what we have available. From what you're saying I think we'll be able to work something out just fine."

As she finished speaking, she noticed none other than Thane Drexel among the small but growing crowd. She recalled the man from her Republic days, a prominent Rebel who directed the infamous Red Fleet. Having someone like him on her side would be a great boon to the resistance movement.

"I kind of expected all of those. Consider every single one done." He nodded, crossing his arms and nodding, he looked amongst the others, nodding. "So. Anything else? Maybe I can go an hunt some of the wildlife and we can sit back and cook something I guess. Have a bonfire. Burn things." He shrugged, toying with that idea, as he nodded. "Nah but...Huh. Not much to do now, unless you got some other things you need to talk about?" He asked, curiously.

[member="Arisa Yune"]

Thane walked over to the droideka and knelt down like it was a puppy, he put a hand out like it could smell it and approve of him or something. Thane wasn't particularly fond of droids, they autonomous nature they had gave him the willies. Like they were alive but not and it was weird.

"Arisa, you said behind enemy lines? I currently have a back door into First Order space and have made a couple "changes" to their current ally count in their holds."

This new guy had a way about him that read "squad killer" to Thane. He had to be honest with himself, he was a rookie, lacked the skills and experience to lead, but even Thane had been there once, and look at him now, head of the Rebels and Admiral to the Red Fleet, he'd come a long way from being a smugglers greenhorn.

[member="Caelen_Tercept"] [member="Arisa Yune"]

"Actually, I have a couple operations that you can help me with now. One involves assisting a growing resistance cell in First Order space, the other involves direct action on Bastion, the capital planet of the Sith Ascendancy."

The mission within First Order space wouldn't be all that difficult with careful planning, but Bastion was another story. While the fortress world was only a shell of its former glory, it was still one of the most heavily fortified locations in the galaxy, now crawling with Sith that called it home.

Thane would address her directly, mentioning he had contacts and resources with FO space specifically. She perked up at that news, happy to utilize any kind of infrastructure already in place.

"Mister Drexel, do you now? Could you please elaborate?"
