[First Order] Raid at Virgilia

Locale: Virgilia, Bastion Gates.
Nearby: [member="Castor Ren"]

Among his fellow Disciples he was nameless, the new entrance older than most and invited to train at the Bastion due to his experiences and a mind broken and easily shaped anew; the young man stood alongside his new envoy of 'justicars'; those who fought for peace through the iron will of the Supreme Leader of the First Order. His knowledge of the Knights of Ren starting and ending there, only so few days into the service of the Regime, a new Order under a new Empire.

There came a certain freedom in the unending servitude of others, especially those lacking the strength nor knowledge to strike out for themselves any longer. This former student of the Jedi had been broken by the Sith, enslaved and tormented the mind until he learned how to follow. Through their treatment, his days came with many hardships and the repeating truth that he would not return to the life he had lived, nor should he ever fall victim to such arrogance as those the Jedi held towards societies and life within the galaxy. Here, he would learn to use what gifts he could excel at. The Force unrestrained by false hopes and fairy tales, the lightsaber, set loose and striking fear into his enemy. To bring peace to the First Order's sector of space through the leadership and governance of the one who's right hand had become the Knights of Ren, this was his only concern now. This was a path worthy of the cause, one that opportunity had granted him and the denial of anything else had ensured it.

The Bastion was under attack, these creatures of the Ssi-ruu had imposed upon the First Order with rebellious and feral violence. Like so many of the other Disciples, he followed the commands of his superiors to the letter, rising and stepping out into the fight with the lightsaber of the fallen of Svivren held firmly in both hands, plunging deep into the charging horde. [member="Castor Ren"] fought along him and the others, a man of superior talents and a loyalty to the First Order quite probably already proven; Brennan had spoken to few in his arrival, doing only as was asked and otherwise answering his given instructions with one worded answers, refusing none yet acknowledging few of his peers hoping to rise the ranks themselves. It wasn't out of personal spite nor any taste of a superiority complex, the Disciple simply had not adapted to the world outside of captivity and therefore still held the same behaviors, the same resentments that showed through his combating the beasts attempting to overrun them.

He had yet to be issued his field gear, yet to be granted any armors nor clothes, nothing that which he had not already owned in his possession; yet stepping to the left of Castor Ren with his head bare of any helm, torso holding only the most simple of vests, padded and reinforced with foreign leathers, yet not suited for the true ferocity of war; his survival counted on the swift and strong strikes that his blade of amber dealt in offensive form. Instinctive, he brought the lightsaber to bare high, the stance that was once taught to him as Djem So. His eyes watched and he waited ready for the next wave. They did not disappoint and neither would he. The lightsaber came down as he stepped sideways closer to that of Castor Ren, so that his strike would be aimed away from his peer and through his evasion of the beasts jaws, he swung the weapon down to cleave through it's neck, ending it's life then and there.

While the beast had been slain, the battle had only just came to life. No longer isolated and alone, he turned and stood baring arms to the invasion, the Disciples alongside the Knights of Ren bolstered by numbers and determined to reign.

Wandering Naval Officer
On the FIV Arrestor, there was nothing but silence, since most of the crew was either dead or sent to the vacuum of space. The bridge crew just looked on with their fallen comrades next to them their final thoughts were, as they looked at the enemy bodies getting sucked out into space, "for the Order." The reactor plant then overloaded and exploded into a stupendous explosion, which none on either ship could survive.
Aran's head sunk as he watched the Arrestor explode, but his gambit seemed to work it threw the enemy fleet into disarray for a moment. Aran tried to get comms to his corvettes that were disabled to see if they could get their self destructs working as well, so when they were taken into the cruisers, they would explode. The crews of those two corvettes agreed and worked tirelessly to get that system working. He didn't want to loose anymore sailor needlessly this time so he ordered them to get it working then abandon ship if possible. This would be his new great plan attack them from inside. Aran sent this data to Commodore Rausgeber and hopefully his TIE squadrons would have good use out of this.
Most of the bridge crew at this point on the Subjugator were starting to question if they all would come out of this alive, and the scuttlebutt soon pass throughout the ship. This led to Aran ordering the remaining of his line to reform with Commodore Rausgeber's forces and hope they would bring this to a victory.

"Let me out of here."

"Why, so you can try to kill Moff Fortan again? I don't think so, Miss Shorn."

"Oh please, Sideburns, you wouldn't have come down here unless you needed my help."

"That is not my name."

"Whatever."

"You are a highly dangerous assassin-"

"-pirate, but thanks. You're under attack from the lizard people. Ssi-Ruu. Let me guess, they're already on board the ship and you don't know how to repel them."

"Preposterous."

Red lights came on and alarms wailed.

"Sure." Eyes the color of glacier pools stared at the imperial officer, a hint of mischief in their cold depths. "What's it gonna be, Sideburns?"

Situation: Blocking doorway access to Ssi-Ruuk invaders through the corridors

The first volley of blaster bolts caused Sam to beat a hasty side step to the edge of the doorway, just beyond the corridor's line of sight. In that time she reflected a single bolt backwards in defence but didn't stick around to see if the reflected attack hit one of her foes. Hearing their footsteps coming closer, the young Knight knew her best chance was confining them in the corridors so once more she leaped out to engage.

This time however it wasn't the standard blaster bolts that were fired on her but something new. Something very different. Instinctively flicking her blade into a defensive posture, that proved a mistake. Shot from bizarre paddle like weapons, two beams came at her. The first she dodged with a sway of her hips, her agility serving her well, the other was caught by her blade yet it wasn't deflected like Samka had expected. Instead the cracking silver beam seemed to wrap around her lightsaber and tugged at it. Holding her grip as hard as she could, Sam could feel the pull of the Ssi-Ruuk was much stronger and a moment later, the hilt fell through her fingers and was sent hurdling away.

Very briefly, a flash of fear passed through her eyes just as the there was a burst of elated cries from her attackers. Her weapon was gone. Sam felt as though a part of her very soul itself had been stolen from her. Without a means to defend herself, the girl retreated to the shadows as more blaster bolts came her way.

Perched on top of one of the archive's top holobook shelves, Sam could only watch the squad rush into her precious library. Their heads snapped around looking for a trace of the defender. Hidden in the darkness on her elevated position, Sam called upon the only thing she had left. Letting a wave of fear and coldness overwhelm the saurians, she placed her own thoughts in their minds.

This has only just begun. One by one, you all shall fall.

To prove her point, Sam picked a random straggler to choke with the dark side's power. He began to wheeze and frantically looked around for the cause of his throat collapsing. In spite of it all, Sam smiled. Watching them fumble around in the dark was going to be satisfying.

For all his mastery over the arts of stealth, Veles still had to outwit the approaching forces flooding the mountain. Those who already searched for him occasionally received a neck-breaking surprise and were sent straight to the Void, where millions better killers would show these saurian creatures the other end of the food chain. While Veles continued proving his superiority over these beings blind to the Force, no results as far as finding him have been produced by the lizard men, though not for the lack of incentive. Furious and dangerously enraged, the saurians hissed and spat in frustration, simply unable to locate their unseen killer. Zigzagging back and forth between the oblivious lizard men, taking off into the trees and generally leading his pursuers nowhere seemed to have worked quite well for Veles, more so as the rain effectively turned the Saurian sense of smell into an unreliable tool their sight already was.

Almost like stars, ships over the planet released bright waves of light that immediately died out, much like the lives belonging to anyone aboard these destroyed vessels. Songs would be sung about the invasion one day, probably describing it as a callous and cowardly sneak attack against the unsuspecting First Order – and Veles had no doubt that if any such song came to existence, it would be in Basic, informing the galaxy to not f.uck with the First Order. Unfortunately, the Mon Cal had to bid the Bastion and all his allies trapped inside its thick walls goodbye, for he intended to track down the brain behind this invasion or the next highest ranked leader overseeing the present battle and end their lives.

Plenty of manoeuvring eventually led him over the cliffs, eyes frowning upon noticing two strangely shaped hooks firmly etched into the rocky ground and providing another entry point for the invading force, as evidenced by two lizards climbing over the edge, ready to join the rest. Without offering a word of warning, one webbed hand shot up and both bodies felt an invisible wave crashing against them, pushing them back and offering no mercy. The two saurians vanished and nothing happened, only screams that reached a sudden end. A subtle hand motion sent one of the hooks crashing down as well while Veles slowly approached the other, glancing down. Seemingly unfazed, more saurians were on their way up. There was only one way to get down and reach the jungles without having to descend the Path of Jagged Stones – the most direct way.

Seizing the rope with his cybernetic hand, Veles jumped.

For the brief moments spent on the cold, wet ground, the seconds seemed to stretch out before Isla. The razor sharp edges of talons shredded the back of her cloak, and there were jagged jaws snapping at her boots. Emerald eyes blinked hard, momentarily dazed. The left side of her face was burning; deep scratches were now running red with blood. But the pain would only aid her in this battle. Gritting her teeth, she gripped her saber tightly and began to swing at any Saurian that came within range.

A moment later she had scrambled back to her feet, eyes wide and full of anger.

The few that came forward were met with her crimson saber cutting through the darkness. In a flash, one of the smaller creatures had fallen to the ground. Isla began to pull the force in around her, gathering the dark strength to mount another attack. It was then that she noticed the group of Saurians backing off. Surely, they could tell that the flame-haired Knight had found an inner rage… but that did not seem to be the reason for their hesitation.

It was the rain. She could see their large feet edging from the slippery Cliffside. Indeed, a fall from this height would be fatal. A slow smirk formed on her lips, and she tasted blood. Stepping forward, she pushed forth another blast of energy – a strong wave broke against the line of Saurians. Talons slid through the mud, a few more of the enemy lost their footing and went backwards off the cliff.
But they were not the only ones that went over the side…

Isla hardly had time to see the shadowy figure of the Mon Cal come forward. He prevented two from surfacing over the side, but a moment later… he had disappeared. She hadn’t seen clearly, had he fallen or had he jumped? It was a question would that would to go unanswered.

The large form of the Ssi-Ruuk moved. Instantly she rushed forward, using the force to power her swiftly. She hoped to catch the beast off-guard, her crimson blade struck out for its chest. A great slash was cut into the flesh, but it was not over yet…

First Order Ship

Cell Block

The cell door clicked open.

"Now was that so hard?"

Sideburns snorted. "This way, quickly."

He gestured for her to leave the cell, which she did. "Lead the way."

"Ladies first. I insist." Though the blaster pistol in his hand seemed to do the large part of his insisting.

"Fine."

Kate trotted off in what was hopefully a way off this ship. The faster she could get her blood pumping the faster she could get the ixetal cilona out of it. Turns out a simple cell with the gas piped in worked pretty well. Probably for a whole lot cheaper than those stupid lizards too.
