First Light

One of the last things the woman remembered were flames she thought she could control coming at her. A fire she had thrown at an attacker. It had caused the fragile shelter she had been hiding go up like a cotton ball in flames. Luckily it had driven her attacker off. Unlucky for her, the shelter collapsed on top of her. The back wall fell on her and knocked her out.

What she hadn't known about was the rain that fell on this fire. Her clothes, hair and some of her skin was burned and singed, but she was alive. Sleeping the sleep of injured through the night and into the morning, the woman that expected she was going to die that night before lived on.

Having disappeared, she didn't think anybody was going to miss her. Nothing to live for, but still she had a desire to live. That is what brought about her fight the night before. Now her body needed to wake up, but her eyes remained closed. Almost in a comalike state, she slept on. Out of danger of being burned alive though, if somebody didn't find the wreckage and her form, she would still die.

It was reckless and some would say downright silly of some one of Chikako's status to be aimlessly wandering around the galaxy without others knowledge, no less almost by herself, only accompanied by two of her Thyrsians Jedi guards, but it was not like she had never done this before. In the time, preceding the recovery of the small Echanis memory Chikako had wandered the galaxy herself, alone and with nothing but the clothes on her back and a Vibro sword, picking up passage as they came, often getting involved with... questionable at best individuals.

As such she herself had no qualms or worry about just getting up and leaving CIS space in the purist of whatever the heck was on her mind, and through whatever though process of strange desire that no one seemed grasp from the noble child the private Quill Class Chuttle had wound up on this planet. Was she here due to wander lust, of had her returning memories sparked on that planet that called out? Whatever it was would be unknown as not moments after landing Chikako felt a small force signature, it felt odd for a planet such as this, but most off all it was faint. Not that of a weak force user, no more that of someone on the brink of death, "There is someone here, someone that is in need of help, do you feel that"?

"Yes, I do my lady, but is it really of concern to you"? Chikako turn around with an apparent pout on her face, but also visible contentment for the man, "Why, because I am a noble, do you not recall my many days, no weeks of traveling around like some space hobo? I was lucky to regain my memories, for all i know I may have died ages ago to some silly life choice if not for the witches of Dathomir, as such I am not going to let someone die an unfortunate death... now come, I sense they are still savable". With hates the young girl was off, running with determination of a Loth cat chasing its prey.

As the time passed, animals and creatures came to explore the still, small woman in the cold hut. They did nothing to her luckily, but birds may have started circling in the sky. Once they figured out how to get the building out of the way...alive or dead they would eat.

The fire had gone out, but the ashes were still warm. These kept the sleeping woman alive. The chill outside of the hut would have been a shock to her system in the state she was in. In reality it wasn't that cold, but the concussion and other injuries she had would have been too much for her to handle.

Unaware of the danger she was in from the wild animals, Aevan turned as she slept. Her head kept her sleeping though and healing.

Birds circling, signs of a bad omen and in the usual case indicators to someone about to die, a good indicator that she was close, worse news for the person Chikako was trying to save as scavengers only partook in this action when their meal was nearing their demise. "I sense we must hurry, but also be careful, the person we are getting close may be on a hairs end". Her body guards gave a nod as their run turned to a walk, cresting the small hill and looking over the site of what was once a small hut of sorts, the smell of smoldering wood and a light whiff of smoke still lingering in the air.

Animals of sort circled the ashy ruins the crows around the site letting of the not so peaceful cries, "Wait, don't hurt the animals, allow me", reaching out with the force Chakiko started to bond with the minds of the animals and beasts around the site, sending small waves of reassurance she was not threat, but also to back away from the burnt down hut. Bit by bit the animals left the scene, even the crows leaving a unopposed path to the hut, "Helps me lift this stuff up but be careful". In a synchronized manner her body guards used the force to slowly lift up the rubble, Chikako crawling under the gap to reach a... unconscious woman, one with long blonde hair with some, was once, pretty looking hair.

Placing her hand against the woman Chikako felt a cold shiver, her body heat was low, chest rising ever so slightly with little breathing, multiple bruises, cuts and burns along her body. Using what magic she knew the young Echani summoned a small flame, in attempts to keep the woman warm, "She is alive but need medical help, we need to get her onto the ship as soon as possible".

The sound of the rubble getting moved around her invaded her dreams. The creaking of the timbers and debris started to wake her up. The falling ash covered her further leaving a dusting on her skin and what was left of her clothes. They were once fine clothes, now ruined and burned in the fire.

When the heat of the flame started warming her up, Aevan became more aware of what was going on around her and started waking up. Her body temperature rose as intended and her breathing became more normal. It was slow to work on her, but eventually her eyes opened.

Sitting up and moving too quickly, she sent a cloud of ash into the air and would have hit her head again on the beams if they hadn't been removed. Her vision was cloudy and unfocused at the moment. Groggy from the sleep and hitting her head the night before. All she saw were figures around her. It was obvious they weren't attacking her, so she remained seated and not threatening.

"Who are you?"

The woman stirred in her slumber as Chikako tried to dust her off, not working as intended with ash floating around the place and falling from the levitating rubble being held up, a fine and sudden puff of the grey powder sprouting up from the injured individual as they returned to the realm of the living, much faster then the young Echani had anticipated. Caught off guard as slightly stunned the noble was subjected to a face full of ash and soot, dirtying the fine white attire she wore, *cough cough ack*, Chikako spluttered, waving her arms in attempts to blow away the blinding mist, working to some minor extent, her silver eyes once again gazing up the hurt but seemly, to some degree, alright but dazed woman.

Aevan Kitaki said:
"Who are you?"
It seemed they where unable to recognise Chikako, either concussed or through some other means, but the fact she could talk was good, "I felt the presence of someone in danger and slipping away from life, I cam to investigate along with my... 'men' and found you laying here, injured, you are quite hurt, please all me to treat your wound on my ship, we can discuss your unfortunate near death experience there". Chikako motioned for the garuds to come help the woman up so they could carry her back to the shuttle.

The ash she stirred up caused both of them to cough, but Aevan didn't have the strength to attempt to push it away from her. Because of that it actually settled around faster than it did around Chikako.

"How come I can't see and I am still very cold? What happened? Last thing I knew somebody was trying to kill me. I don't even know why. Threw a fireball at him and then my world went blacker than it was. I don't even know how long ago that happened."

A wave of being dizzy hit her and the cloudy vision started going black.

"Must be wors...."

And she passed out. At the mercy of her rescuers, she had no control on if they moved her and do what was needed to be done.

Chikako listened to the woman's recollection of past events, her speech a bit mumbled and jittery, but clearly understood, "Shhhh, don't push yourself, you are safe now, the cold is just due to the morning air". Her attempts to calm the girl where ultimately useless as she fainted due to exhaustion, Chikako quickly catching her before they could fall over and possible injure themselves even more.

"Help me carry her back to the ship, put her in my chambers, have one of you heal her and get the medical droid", the young noble barked rather commanding, her body guards quickly scooping up the injured woman ushering her back to the shuttle with haste. With in a few minutes each person back within the confines of her private shuttle, sitting in her room with the unconscious girl, 'do not worry, your in safe hand now'.

Aevan tucked into the bed slept the sleep of the almost dead again, but her life signs were strong. She just needed to recover. While her wounds were superficial, that head wound was the worst. The beams from the roof and back wall had knocked her good and there was possibly more damage done internally to her body than what would be seen.

The assurances of safety penetrated the haze of sleep and Aevan trusted the woman and her guards. Unfounded trust, but it was there.

Next thing Aevan knew was waking up, under the covers. Warm, comfortable and safe. Unfamiliar ship around her, but no fear. Her eyes opened and looked at Chikako, but remained silent. A sense of confusion as to why this woman went out of her way to help a stranger filled her, but she didn't speak.

Chikako saw to the personal attendance of the woman's would, damaging up physical lacerations burns and other obvious wounds, partially due the individual being female, as such it may have been inappropriate to ask her male guards to handle the injured lady. Tough the large bruise on her head did raise concerns for the young Echani, not just in relation to possible internal damage, but mental problem, what happened if the girl had lost her memory much like herself? Forgot how to speck properly or even walk or perform basic function? Well it seemed she was able to talk upon being found, but Chikako was no doctor nor able to really tell anything using the force. In time the woman started to come around, by this time the ship already in hyper space on its way back to CIS space, "Ah you are awake how do you feel"? Chikao leaning in close to here the woman's response to limit any strain talking may have on her body.

The fact her wounds had been tended wasn't missed by Aevan. Looking at Chikako for a moment like she might some sort of viper about to strike, but that look fading quickly, she went through a mental check of her body.

"My head hurts and I'm totally hungry. Need to drink too and use a refresher. Who are you?"

The question may have been answered on the planet when Chikcako found her, but most of that time was a blurry haze to Aevan.

"Thank you, I'm Aevan."

Leaving off her surname, it probably wouldn't mean anything to this woman.

She let out a small sight, nice to see the woman had not been hurt too badly, even if her shocked expression upon waking up startled the young Echani a little, but then again her new patient may still have been in shock over almost dying and all.

"Well that nice to hear, if your hungary that shows your are healthy to some extent, as for my name, I am Chikako Liona, it is nice to meet you Aevan".

She was unsure of if the woman was familiar with the Noble houses of Eshan, in addition she would keep her commitment to the CIS a secret for now, just until they could figure out more about this strange woman.

"So, tell me Aevan, how did you end up almost dead in some remote hut, if I may ask of course",

Taking a gulp of saliva in a dry throat was tough, but Aevan attempted to do just that. She didn't feel threatened and by the words Chikako said, she wouldn't be feeling that way with her.

It was odd to Aevan, somebody that helped her without wanting something in return.

"It is nice to meet you too, Chikako."

Not knowing anything about Eshan, she could tell this woman was also likely royalty. Even if Aevan was banished, she was still royalty. She asked how Aevan had almost gotten killed in that hut and she shook her head.

"I don't even know what planet I was on. Just wandering around lost and afraid. Somebody attempted to attack me and I threw a fireball at them inside the hut. It brought the hut down on me, but saved my life since he ran. And then you found me. I guess I owe you my life."

falling silent, Aevan knew she would be repaying this woman for a very long time.

Chikako using the force to pour out a small glass of water from a clear glass pitcher, the soothing sloshing sound emanating as the cool liquid came out, she guessed after being in a fire and resting for who knows how long the woman must have been thirsty.

"Like wise, you seem to be a nice and well mannered person, something one is stretched to find in this galaxy",

Judging from the tattered clothes on Aevan it was possible she was a noble or senator of sorts, raising more questions to why she was out in a place like this, escaping assassination maybe? With all the wars happening these days such an event would not be unlikely, herself being in a similar position, and other, even Faith Organa leader of the FWC had been targeted repeatedly.

"A desperate attempt to take out your enemy, perhaps not the smartest move but lady luck has seemed to be on your side do you need a drink".

She remarked handing the small glass of water to the woman, Chikako thinking about the woman's story, 'wandering, just like I was before regaining my memories, seems though her story had more downfalls then mine".
