STRENGTHS

Blaze of Glory: The Firebrand fires a spherical like grenade of incendiary plasticine thermite gel at a target, which upon impact spreads out and can adhere to most surfaces thanks to the addition of the synthetic sarvin compound. Almost immediately after coming in contact with a surface, the micro smart detonator automatically ignites the gel and causes it to silently burn at a fixed temperature of 5000°C for approximately ten seconds, enabling it to burn through most conventional materials. The size of the affected area is usually one meter in diameter.
Rain of Fire: The Prediction Scope helps the operator to estimate the flight path of the grenades, allowing for better accuracy.

WEAKNESSES

Hot Stuff: Particularly hardy materials, such as the infamous Beskar, often have a higher melting point than achieved by the thermite gel payload of this grenade. In such cases, while it won’t stop the affected object from becoming incredibly hot (and therein presenting a whole different kind of danger in of itself), it won’t cause much in the way of actual damage.
Goodness Gracious: Given the payload, it probably goes without saying that you really don’t want any damage to befall the cylinder while this cheeka is loaded for bear. One stray shot or well placed lightning bolt… Great balls of fire.

DESCRIPTION

A seemingly pyromaniacs delight, the Firebrand is currently being marketed as a combat demolition device rather than a conventional weapon, and for some pretty obvious reasons. Firing rounds of a proprietary designed compound of plasticine thermite gel and synthetic sarvin, the twenty fourth entry into Tricks of the Trade’s catalogue is ideal for rapid, covert entries, being capable of silently burning through not only most bunkers and blast doors, but also the hulls of most ships.
Specification wise, the wea--- combat demolition device is approximately fifty centimetres end to end and comprised of rugged, tried and tested duraplast. The payload is stored in an ammo cylinder built to chamber six grenades, the exact count of which being shown on the rear of the weapon. Once a round has been discharged, the user simply needs to rack the pump action slide beneath the barrel to chamber the next grenade.
For those with demolition needs requiring a longer range, a Predictor Sight allows the operator to estimate the vector of the grenade. A horizontal mounted forward grip has also been installed for use at the user’s discretion, adding stability and weapon maneuverability. Both these two features can be folded away when not in use.
