Cargo Entrance: This is where the majority of Firebase Ardarvia's supplies come in from, you'll find the teamsters working here.
Main Entrance: The main way to get in and out of Ardarvia it faces the edge of Jar'Kai
Vehicle Depot: After the Rebellion, the base decided having the vehicles outside of the walls would be more efficient, although the flaw here is that the vehicles and personnel who maintain them are quite vulnerable.
Power Generators: You'll find the engineering support team here, they keep these generators going which in turn keeps Ardarvia going.
Barracks: All military personnel are housed here, there's not much room for non-military personnel.
Command Tower: This is where you'll find the mix, the mix of administration, military, civilian and more. It's the biggest feature of the base and controls everything, from the doors to the defence systems.
Kyran Urgent Care Center: A clinic and care centre built to respond to emergencies as well as everyday preventive care. This is where you'll find most of the medical staff.
Ashira's Hope Aid Center: This aid centre was built to assist those with social services and counselling services. This is where you'll find counselling staff and the humanitarian aid workers.
The Agora: A commissary that serves the personnel who live at Ardarvia, there are plans to expand, accommodating the surrounding civilian population.
The Crushed Lung: A cantina that sits just outside of the main entrance, it is run by a civilian contractor who named the cantina after Grandmistress [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]'s favourite super move against the Sith.
Description: Ardarvia was initially founded by Major Lavali Sanjeet at a bombed out corner store, it has since been rebuilt and remodelled to fit the new Firemane outpost standard. Ardarvia was built with a more humanitarian effort in mind. An outreach project to assist those living in Jar'Kai and Nuyen with the transition after the Sith rebellion of the GA dominated world. It's taken time to rebuild the outpost into something more than cobbled rubble. After Major Sanjeet and her team departed Ardarvia, Sgt. Halifax and his Howlers remained behind to help turn Ardarvia into what it is today. A helping hand to those in need, with one of the best communications expert Firemane Paramilitary, has to offer. Ardarvia hopes to serve as a reminder that together, everyone can help make the galaxy a better place.
History: Built out of necessity, Firemane then decided to keep Ardarvia functional - at least for now. A way to help the locals recover, and move on after the events of the Rebellion. A way to help put a little food on the table, to put clothes on someone's back and to help those around the area. There is still a military presence, however; they are merely on standby are there to help the Galactic Alliance whenever they are needed. The base was built out of a bombed out corner store, vehicle depots were created from old speeder repair shops, cobbled together by what the Sith had destroyed Ardarvia came to life. It was soon under attack by rogue Mandalorian forces and eventually turned its guns around to fire back. The conflict ended in a draw, with Ardarvia now in more disrepair than it was when Major Lavali Sanjeet of the Firemane Paramilitary arrived. The base has since been rebuilt, modelled after Firebase Ashira, Ardarvia hopes to lend a hand to the Astrisians and the Galactic Alliance whenever needed.
Firebase Ardarvia was built from the rubble, initially, Major Lavali Sanjeet and Sgt. Halifax along with his Howlers arrived at the outskirts of Jar’Kai during a rebellion. Their goal was to establish a command post, a foothold to allow for more Firemane troops to make their way into the city. Lieutenant Tarriq and Sgt. Kala Matthieu’s landed with the Major but didn’t stick around to build the post, instead she and Kala went off to retrieve Firemaster @Elpsis Elaris.
Major Sanjeet didn’t have a lot to work with, there was a bombed-out corner store that provided enough space to start something small. Which is exactly what she was intending to have, something small. All she was looking for was a foothold, a way to provide Lieutenant Tarriq support in her mission. Shelves, were turned over to provide makeshift cover. Tables cleared off for a first aid station, and a weapons repair station, the main counter and cashier station turned into a communications station.
Prior to Sanjeet’s arrival at this locale, there hadn’t been much left. The rebellion had turned what had been the city of Jar’Kai into nothing. The corner store and the surrounding area had been, from the looks of it a low commercial area with little in the way of residential zones. Crumbling speeder repair shops dotted the rest of what would be Firebase Ardarvia.
When the Rebellion was over, it was obvious that Atrisia would need assistance. After various high-level force users nearly levelled the city of Jar’Kai, the once proud capital of Atrisia herself. Command Post Ardarvia would serve as the foundation of the base. A Firemane survey team believed that building a base would be more than possible, however; there would be an impact on the local population, at least for those who survived the rebellion.
Firemane would do what it could to provide temporary food and shelter for the locals while building the base. After the successful building of Firebase Ashira on Corellia, Firemane Industries and Technologies built Firebase Ardarvia just like it. The once-bombed-out corner store and subsequent speeder garages would no longer be needed. Piece by piece, Command Post Ardarvia would be transformed into Firebase Ardarvia. Prefabricated units were brought in and installed, negotiations with the local population began. Much like Ashira, Ardarvia would integrate the local population to the best of its ability, including civilian contracting and the negotiated expansion of the Agora to include local businesses.
As construction continued, it was clear that the base would need more room, which meant the clearing of more rubble, and more bombed-out, burnt-out buildings. Clean up was the biggest part of the construction, the installation of the walls and secure blast doors came last. What had once been a ruined commercial zone had been transformed into Firebase Ardarvia.
Note: Ardarvia was constructed outside of the darkside taint, initially as a command post it was built facing a neighbouring city of Jar’Kai that rested across the Seoulpa River. As this was the initial landing zone for Firemane forces. As the base was transformed from a rundown, makeshift command post the base was built with the rear facing said neighbouring city, keeping away from the darkside taint that now has its grip over Jar’Kai.
Intent: To assist the Galactic Alliance with support from Firemane, and for Firemane to have an outpost for RP purposes.
