Finder Of The Lost.....

After his meeting with the woman in white @Zanders decided to snoop around the academy on Korriban. Making his way thru the main hall he had manage to stumble his way in to the archives. " This place has been ransacked as I thought.. Well lets see if I can get these terminals up and running "

After hours of tinkering and splicing power began to flicker on the screen. The Sith Empire was what came up led by The Emperor few knew his true name he had kept it secret. Sections on the great war and on the mass exodus was even on here. " So much information on this terminal I need to make a copy of this for further study! Who knows what else I may find it has not been a total waste here. "

While he was downloading the information off the terminal Zanders started finding information enter in near the fall of the Sith Empire. Who ever Vitiate is seemed to be an ancient Sith Lord. A strong master with a great understanding of the force. It says that he was able to transfer his essence into other body's to extend his own life.

Vitiate had kept his powers with great secrecy only allowing a very select few to learn them. " Must mean he kept some sort of record of what he learned even the greatest of minds cant remember everything learned in a life time. Especially a life time that lasted for generations..."

With further reading vitiate had kept private chambers in the academy as well on other worlds like Dromund Kass. With the beep of the terminal let him know the data was downloaded Zanders made his way to Vitiates private chambers to see if there was anything else to find...

Zanders was the scholar, the one who could read. Dejah could not. While Zanders was fooling about the library, Dejah was looking for weapons. Dejah knew how this was going to work. Zanders was the brain and Dejah the brawn. Until the man knew how to defend himself it would be Dejah's job. Perhaps they could help each other. Dejah could teach basic combat while Zanders taught him to read.

A few hours had passed, which had been sufficent to raid the armory. A lightsaber was found, and somehow Dejah just knew what it was, like he just knew many things. It felt comfortable in his grip, but not perfect. He would get one someday, but for now this would do. Coming up behind Zanders, Dejah looked over the man's shoulder.

"Does this mean we're going somewhere? I can't read."

Reading over what he had found in the archives Zanders began to look over the plans to find the chamber of Vitiate below the academy. When Dejah came over his shoulder and started to talk what came out had surprised Zanders " How does one like yourself who already knows so much not know how to read? "

" We need to find the chambers or vitiate the emperor he had a private meditation chamber below this academy. We might find a lot more down there since it was kept a secret until the collapse of the empire. "

Making his way thru the decrepit halls of the academy nothing but darkness and cobwebs and broken dreams. These halls trained Sith young-lings that were either brought here by force or volunteered they even trained force sensitives that they had found on there conquest thru the galaxy. You could feel the fear the pain the sorrow as if you were the one being trained. He had to take a moment to gather his thoughts being newly awaken to the force he could feel more then what he was use to once he had gathered his thoughts he continued to the chambers.

finding a power lift that was actually still in working order baffled Zanders. For work that was mostly done thru slave labor the Imperials manage to build durable buildings. With a few twist of the wires on the panel life fluttered to the panel and started the lift down to the chambers with Dejah . " So you do not know how to read do you want to learn how? I would be more then glad to help you learn? "

With Dejahs response being nothing more then a cold calculating stare Zanders kept to himself before the doors open to the chambers. Zanders spoke to Dejah " We need to be careful going thru here the last temple I was in had a spirit from hell and it could make our adventure quite short if we are not careful" Soon as he said be careful the doors opened to the meditation chambers. The area seem to be kept as if there was someone living there which kept Zanders paranoia at a high Dejah began to look around on his own staying within ear shot of Zanders.

It was more of a living quarters then a meditation chamber. There were robes there were chest that were closed. The meditation area was a basic meditation area that had a sound proof door that would close. Just beyond the chambers there were a separate area that had its own set of archives.

Digging thru the archives was just an absolute joy for Zanders. There was so much knowledge locked in this terminal and if he had any way of obtaining it all he would. There was so much more history about the Sith empire then what was in the academy. Personal logs from vitiate himself mentioning something about transferring his essence into one vessel to the next. He had found secrets of immortality and stayed alive for thousands of years transferring his essence was just one step. He had made a holocron of his knowledge and hidden it some where. He would have to do more digging to find where he had left it. Until then there was just so much more to read and not enough time to read it all. Zanders began to upload the data to his pad so he could research it later aboard his ship.

With the upload complete he went to search for Dejah who was off searching....

Dejah let Zanders to his search. The truth was while he wasn't interested in all the academic side of the archaeology, Dejah was certainly interested in the results. The meditation chamber was the perfect example. Too many things just sat there. One thing in particular seemed out of place to his keen eye. A crack in the wall seemed almost intentional. Upon further inspection, it was intentional. Something was hidden behind it.

Pressing anything that looked as though it could be a button, Dejah eventually opened the compartment to reveal something that was not customary to a meditation chamber. A lightsaber. Dejah wondered if it still worked. Pressing the ignition button, the blade snapped to life, and Dejah grinned.

"Look at what I found, Zanders."

He walked over to the scholar and showed off the Crimson blade. This was a great find. A real lightsaber.

" Find a saber that is over a thousand years old that still works is rather interesting Dejah. "

Truth be told it was more then likely placed there for Vitiate to use but never was. From what Zanders was able to find out about Vitiate was that he had a great understanding of the force. But he was sure he was able to use a saber as well.

" We need to get back to my ship the Normandy and I have to go over what I found to make our next move Dejah. Of course you are welcomed to stay here but I plan to find more about this Lord.

Making his way back to the Normandy an ancient corona class frigate capable of staying out in space for extended periods of time and being able to hold over thirty six squadrons of fighters meant more space for thing to find and defend itself against moderate attack perfect for an explorer.

Going over the droves of data would take some time luckily Zanders had an ally when it came to data analysis. Tali was a human that had came to him in a time of need with her specialty lying in analysis and knowing many alien languages.

The duo went over the data for the next ten hours leaving plenty of down time for dejah...

Dejah was determined to see to the lightsaber. He nodded to Zanders comment about the hilt, and knew it was quite the rare find. He followed back to the ship quietly. Dejah wasn't much for small talk, and making "friends" was hard for the clone. He felt awkward himself so he never put himself out there much. A lot of his downtime was spent alone, and Dejah didn't know any better when it came to how rude he must have seemed.

Ten hours of going over the inner workings of the hilt had passed before Dejah emerged for the public to see his face again. It marveled Dejah how Zanders could command such a vessel. He was an interesting one himself, so consumed with history. There were lessons there for sure, but being as young as he was, Dejah didn't see the value, except for when it came to things. Dejah had still to learn the value and worth of knowledge over possessions.

"What have you learned of this Lord," Dejah asked attempting to try his hand at conversation.

He sat across from where Zanders was, and offered him a hot cup of caf. Dejah had found the drink to be something he liked, with a lot of cream and sugar. It was the caffeine! Dejah wasn't sure if Zanders liked the drink or not, but he offered it nonetheless. The saber was also set down on the desk. The technology clearly marked it as an object of history as well.

"You would call this an artifact wouldn't you?"
