"Alright, folks." Special Agent Yvonne Evoros spoke briskly, setting her caf down on the nearest surface as she brought up a holoprojection. "This station is orbiting Eshan, and it's been taken over. The Board thinks it's pirates, but we're not confirmed yet. What we do know is that they're holding a squad of our agents hostage while they root around."
She was remarkably lacking in fear or distress for such a high-stakes mission. In fact, she was dangerously close to sounding cheerful.
"So here's the plan: we need two teams. Team A, your job is taking down the station's internal systems remotely so team B can get in and guiding them through the interior. Team B, you're crashing the party. Take down our new friends--try to leave at least one alive--rescue the hostages, and find what the pirates are looking for. Team B, with me."
With that, she picked up her caf and moved the groups towards the hangar bay.
(The mug was almost empty. Was there time to make another? No. Chit.)
A landing ramp descended, and Evoros strode in.
"We're going to need a pilot."
