Yavin IV
Jedi Praxeum
"Outside Port Shardrock lay the rebuilt and refurbished ruins of Skywalker's Legacy. The Yavin Praxeum. Independent of all governments and politically impartial to a fault. It does not answer to the Silver, Alliance, or Republic Jedi Councils, and accepts students and teachers from all Jedi traditions without bias. The Praxeum is frequently used as a training site and skipper base by Silver Jedi, Alliance Guardians, Republic Jedi and others. It is also home to the Ithorian Priests, Bafforr groves, and Tyia Thuwisten evacuated from the Dantooine Jedi Enclave during the Primeval assault, as well as Dantooine's Jedi. The Jedi who frequent this ancient site consider themselves guests of the Rekali clan and comport themselves accordingly. Here you can always find grand company. Here you can always find something worth taking home." - A Traveler's Guide to Yavin
This wasn't the start of a fight. It was the end of one.
"Gaghhyaahh!"
Karen yanked down on her partner's gee and smashed him to the ground. The whole training ground echoed with the crash. He was a big boy, her partner. Well over six feet tall and weighting in at about half a cement dump trunk too. Still. The bigger they are,
*smash!*
She dropped threw the air and landed another elbow into his sternum. Listening with a faint smile to him choke on the flux.
"Uncl... Uncle. Ugh."
The large Jedi wheezed out. Surrendering the training mat to his partner and clutching his abdomen with a broken coughing pride. Karen stood up from the dry sands of the training arena. Letting the golden glow of her Battlemind fade from her slaughtering eyes. Still. She smiled at the triumph. Bathed deep in the Force. Shoulders rising and falling with every new breath. Yeah. Yeah. Girls still got it.
*clap clap clap*
A slow honest applause came for the Training Master. An Ithorian monk who's facial expression was all but unreadable. Yet his voice echoed his slow applause,
~ "Well done Master Roberts. You seem to be taking to our Judo techniques rather quickly. That was an excellent throw." ~
The brunette amazon smiled and nodded. Her exotic chest heaving up and down with glorious morning sweat. Ha,
"Thank you Master Galmon. I am enjoying the exercise immensely."
The Ithorian Jedi chuckled,
~ "Of course you are. So... Perhaps another challenger to raise the stakes a bit, yes?" ~
The forty year old warrior slammed her fist into her palm,
"Ha. I welcome it. Bring on the big guys. ...Let's do this."
The golden light of her Battlemind returned to her eyes as submerged herself in The Force. Drinking in Yavin IV and it's ancient glories as if they were a strong, wet Corellian Ale. Steeling herself for the next Iron Champion or Jedi Traveler to face the fury of the Judo mat. Raising her physical strength to the very limits of human exertion. Feeling the power of a thousand battlefields running red and rampant threw her very blood. Indeed. Somewhere out thereKeanu Reeves The One himself was nodding acceptingly to the dry sand at her feet and her sweat draped martial gee. Hearing her words as much as feeling them in his fiery breast.
"Come on then."
Her fists clenched tight in amazon challenge.
"Fight me."
