Fifth Avenue: The eponymous and main thoroughfare through the district, it is lined along its entire length within the district with all kinds of apparel and fashion accessories at all levels and for many species. Thousands of fashion shops abound not only on Fifth Avenue but also on any streets intersecting it. For the most part, hotels and office buildings occupied the upper levels of the buildings, whereas shops occupied the lower levels, ranging from boutique, luxury shops to the gigantic department stores.

Second-Best Western: The second-most expensive five-star hotel of all of Hosnian Prime, and the most expensive in the Fifth Avenue district, the Second-Best Western is also the second-largest hotel on the planet. With all of 13,000 rooms, ranging from the humble single-occupancy studios to the presidential suite on the top floor, there are rooms for all kinds of travelers, with business, fitness and entertainment facilities to suit every need, as well as room service offered at all times. Of course, it comes with its very own fashion shop on ground level, as well as its own runway for fashion shows.
Description: Covered in buildings and skyscrapers, there was little that distinguished, on the surface, Fifth Avenue from the surrounding areas of Hosnian Prime, especially not when Fifth Avenue, like all numbered avenues on that planet, led to the Old Republic City (even though Hosnian Prime only briefly held the title of Republic capital ca. 30 ABY until its destruction in 34 ABY). If there was a difference, it lied in its residents' attitude about fashion, almost as if clothing and fashion accessories were a marker of social status. Its residents are easily among the most frivolous in the galaxy.
Several fashion companies were headquartered on Hosnian Prime, and multiple hotels of all the major chains were established in the district. Due to its popularity as a shopping destination, hotels in the district were the most expensive on the planet, and likewise for residential real estate, since Fifth Avenue also housed headquarters of major corporations.
History: When Hosnian Prime was rebuilt in the fifth century ABY, that district of the planet was almost empty, and it was a blessing that allowed many artistic-minded people to settle there on the cheap, especially in the wake of the Gulag Plague. Several companies, including Brint Mea and Galmia Pepe, flourished on Hosnian Prime, whose success attracted many would-be fashion designers to the district, and its vast selections of fashion accessories for a wide range of species allowed Fifth Avenue and, by extension, Hosnian Prime to build a name for themselves in the galactic fashion world. Today, Hosnian Prime is, along with Alderaan and Naboo, a hub of fashion for the light-sided.
