"Medical center. All right. I'm sure they can use some extra hands." Giles goes back to the lift. Lift doors opens. Giles walks in and waits for Nate and Kay to join him. Nate follows Giles in. "Yes we would love to help." The lifts doors closes.

After Jewel leaves, Hawk waits five minutes before walking out of the mess. Time to go check this ship. He goes to the lifts and waits for one.

Kay was glad that there was no arguments from either man. That was all that they needed in an emergency. It was kind of strange that Nate would be so protective of her when it came to Giles and everyone else, but she was glad for it too.

As the lift door reopened, she almost walked straight into Hawk. "Hey! What are you doing up? Your ship is fixed or so they say, but they've got unfriendly company coming."

"Yes I know. I was just getting a bite to eat with Jewel when called to battle stations happen. She went to the bridge. I was heading down to the hanger to help out." Replies Hawk. He figures that they could escape when the battle was happening.

Nate raises an eyebrown at Hawk.

"Help out? Yeah...okay." She figured that she knew what he meant. "Let's go then.."

As they walked she kept close by him, keeping her voice lowered, not so that Nate wouldn't hear, but so that other crew members wouldn't. "I heard that she still plans on marrying you soon. This battle is just putting it back again. We need to get out of here right away." Kay glanced back at Nate, then looked to Hawk again. "If anyone says anything, just say that we're helping and that you're using both Nate and I as your crew." Hopefully Jewel doesn't find them and tries to separate them again.

"Don't worry. I got it all covered." Hawk whisper to Kay. Giles follows behind the group. Nate frowns slightly. It was time to get rid of Giles. "Giles, go back to your battle station." Nate says using the force.

Giles smiles. "Gotta get back to my battle station. See ya guys." Giles turns around and jogs back to his station.

Hawk flashes a grin at Nate. "Thanks he was beginning to annoy me too. Once we get in the air, we will get out of here." He whispers to the others. He wasn't sticking around and helping Jewel out of this mess.

Kay just smirked at the two as they hurried down the corridor. She let Hawk lead the way. "Apparently your ship is good to go. It looked okay from the outside. We just didn't get to look inside because the alarm bells went off. Here's hoping that they haven't already taken it to fight in the battle."

"Yeah. Let's hope so." The trio enter the hanger bay. A few ships were lifting off to go to battle. Hawk smiles lopsided when he see Kamiaze. She looked great from the outside. Leave to Jewel to painted his ship. It looked brand new.

No one tried to stop them from boarding on the ship. Hawk waits to Nate and Kay were onboard before securing the ship and replacing the pass code.

Everything looked okay. That was good. She took a seat in the co-pilot's chair and stared out of the viewport. "I hope that this ship can handle a dogfight well, just in case they engage us. No need to jump into hyperspace right into a fighter. I don't really feel like dying today....."

Hawk sits down in his chair. He flips the switches. He saw a bunch of green lights. "Everything is looking good. Don't worry about a dogfight. We are bugging out of here."

Kamikaze lifts off and flies out of the hanger bay. Jewel's voice comes over Kamikaze private com. "Thank you for making this easy." Hawk gives Kay a puzzled look before a shot from the pirate ship rocks Kamikze back quarter.

"Shields held. No damage." Says Nate. "Let's go."

"Making this easy? What does she me--" She held onto the arms of the chair to keep herself from falling out of it as the ship rocked. "Maybe she wants to kill us?"

Her eyes turned to the viewport again. "Yes, let's get out of here before they get another chance."

Hawk didn't have time to answer Kay. It was Nate that provide the answer. "No not trying to kill us. She saving her own butt. Now she can claim that we escape." Nate frowns deeply. He was frustrated with the result. "The ring will still continue."

Hawk ignores Nate's comments as he dodges fires from other ships. He returns fire striking the Pirates ship before making the jump to hyperspace.

"Oh...I get it now.." She continued to hold onto the chair as Hawk took care of the pirates, then made the hyperspace jump. Kay looked over to Nate. "We'll find some other way to stop it. He's got to have some weakness." Bribing wouldn't work as there was nothing to stop the price from getting higher as time went on.

Hawk only programmed a short jump. Once the ship exited hyperspace, he looked at Nate. "Where can I drop you off? You aren't coming with us back to the Silver."

Nate glances at Kay. "You want to go home? You are going to let Prana get away with this."

"Yes, I want to go home and see my daughter. I've been away too long." He been gone for a month now. It was the longest he been away from her. "Unlike you I'm a good dad."

Kay frowned. They didn't need to start bickering already. "Guys please, one crisis at a time....Your arguing isn't going to help much. Hawk, you do need to go home and see your daughter. I'm sure that she misses you as does your mom. I don't have any family to worry over me, so I'll go with Nate to try to stop this Prana guy."

"no. I don't feel comfortable leave you alone with him, Kay. He is a loose cannon." Hawk didn't care that Nate was listenimg to the coversation.

Nate shakes his head over his son's paronoid.

"A loose cannon? What do you think he'll do? I can take care of myself, for the most part. I've been doing it for this long without anybody. Your daughter needs you, and there's other people out there that I can help. What else am I going to do with my time?"

"Gee I don't know...maybe enslave you. Whatever I don't trust him. Even if he is my father." The com beeps him. Hawk flips the switch on. His mother's voice fills the cockpit. "Hawk.?" Her voice sounded panic. "Maddie been kidnapped."

Hawk face turns white. "What?"

Kay looked to Nate and then to Hawk in shock. "What do you mean enslave me? I'd be the worst slave ever! You know how defiant and stubborn I am." The call on the comm stopped her from saying anything else. Her eyes widened. It just never seems to end for him. "Is there a ransom demand?"

"No, ransom demand at all." Sabrinasays responding to Kay. Hawk was so overcome by his grief that he couldn't speak for a few minutes. "Sab, how did this happen?" Asked Nate of his ex-wife.

"She was field trip with other children. They all were taken." Nate grimaces. "We're they all force user?" He asked even though he knew the answer would be yes.

"Yes. They were." Sabrina voice says breaking a little. "It was horrible. The kids put up a good flight until they were stun."

Kay clenched her jaw when she heard of the children being taken. All of them Force users. No doubt it was another of Prana's rings of entertainment.

"Looks like we'll be going afterall. Hawk, we'll get Maddie back, and all of those children. We'll put Prana out of business somehow."
