"Not all of us." Says Hawk. "I lived on this ship for over 6 months. Not believe able that I don't know my way around. I'll stay here and play sick."

Nate glances at Kay. He wasn't sure he liked the idea of them splitting up.

"But Doctor Hutchinson, what about him? Surely you'll not be able to trick him or his medical equipment?" Kay thought that they'd all go together. "You should come with us. Then if your ship isn't fixed up, we could take a different one and call it a trade if they ask..."

"No, you guys go. I'm not worried about Doc. He will play along. It's Jewel this act is for.. She will come and visit me. If I'm not here..it will be a red flag."

"He has a point Kay." Nate says somewhat agreeing with Hawk. Nate motives were different. He wanted to go to King Prana to end this side of enslavemnt ring.

Kay thought about it for a moment, and then nodded. "Alright...can you at least tell us how to get there?" Her tummy grumble a little. She was hungry which was good. Her plan all along after they find the ship was to go to the mess hall. And if they were spotted before going to the ship, she'd still want to be directed to the mess hall. Beyond that her only thought was to get Hawk home to his daughter.

"Sure. I can ya or better yet draw you a map." Hawk quickly sketch out a map where the ship might be...and location of the mess hall. "Don't forget there are two hanger bays. One for large ship..and another for single fighters."

Nate was impressed with Hawk memory. Hopeful Jewel hadn't redesigned the ship lately.

Kay took the map in hand and then turned it around as she held it up. "Yeah...this will work. If I can hardly make heads or tails of this, the crew would easily believe that we were lost." She stepped towards him and hugged him. "Good luck Hawk. We shouldn't be long. A couple of hours at the most. Try to stay out of trouble."

She gave him a smirk and then headed out the door. "Come on, Nate. Let's try not to get lost." Kay hoped that she would be able to read the map well enough to not get lost.

Within ten minutes, Nate felt like they were lost. He glances at the map that Kay was following. "Is that scribble supposed to be stairs? Where are they? " He didn't see them anywhere.

Medical Center

Hawk lay back in the bunk under the covers. His eyes were closed when Jewel came in. She quietly walks to his,bunk. She lends across the bunk to his hair away from his forehead. "Sweetie..I love you. You have to get better." She whispers to him before gently,kisses his lips.

She smirked and looked at the map. "I don't think that it's stairs. Let's just keep going..." Or maybe they should ask someone for directions? Kay kept going until they reached one of the lifts. She stepped into it and as Nate got in, she looked up at him. "So....pick a floor?" More than likely the hangers would be on the lower floors, given the space that they needed. But she figured that if they went too low, they'd reach engineering.

Nate followed Kay into the lift. "Lucky number 7" he says as hit the button. Hopefully they would end up near the hanger. The lift stop on level 5. A few members of the crew walked in. One of the ladies looked Nate over like he was a piece of meat.

Hawk felt Jewel's lips touch his for a moment. He pretends to wake up. His eyes flutter open. "Hi." He says softly. "What time is it?" He asks her

Kay stepped to the side a bit as the crew got into the lift. She rolled her eyes as she caught the woman eyeballing Nate. There was always at least one on every ship. The doors closed and moments later reopened again on the seventh floor. She didn't look at the map in her hand as she stepped out as she didn't want to appear as if they didn't belong there. Maybe she'd be recognized from the mess hall. It was hard to say. But at least Kay hoped to not appear to be a stowaway or something. So she kept walking, assuming that Nate was right behind her. "They really should have those 'You are here' maps on these things.

Nate gave the worm that was checking him out a roguish smile before following Kay out of the lift. "Yes that would be a great idea." Nate sniff the air. "I smell bacon..this level has the cafe." There were more people in the hallways.

Giles brushes past Nate. He spots Kay. "Hey Kay. What's up? How is Hawk doing?" Giles doesn't pay much attention to Nate. He figures that he is part of the crew.

"It's morning. Are you hungry?" She asks Hawk. "Yeah I could eat." Hawk sits up in the bunk. Jewel smiles. Same old Hawk. It was good to see him looking more like himself. "Are you strong enough to go the cafe?"

Hawk hadn't expected that question. Should he go with her? Hmmmm. He needed to give Kay and Nate time to find the ship. Keeping Jewel occupy was his job. "Yes I'm strong enough. We might have to take it slow." He slowly get out of the bunk. Jewel reaches out to steady him.

"You might have to hold my arm" Hawk said as he offer his arm. He knew that he was playing with Jewel emotions.

Oh such a lovely smell. Almost as good as her tea. Almost. The sight of more crew members was starting to get her a bit nervous. And then Giles walked by, stepping along side them as he recognized her. "Oh...Hi Giles. Just thought that I'd find Hawk's ship. I forgot something inside. Is...the hanger this way, or that way?" She pointed from one side to the other. So far that she could tell, this would let her know if the hangers were off limits or not.

Giles laughs. "Nope. It not even on this level. It on level 10." He started to explain where it was.." You know what I'll just show you. Don't want you to get lost. It's a big ship. We should have those..you are here maps."

Nate mentally rolls his eyes at Giles. It was obvious that Giles had a crush on Kay. The man was practically drooling over her

Jewel took his arm and gazed adoring at him. This was her Hawk. Together they walked toward the lift. It felt like old times. "I'm glad that you are feeling better. I didn't like seeing you so sick."

Hawk nods. "Yeah. Me neither. It wasn't fun. But I'm better now."

If he did have a crush, at least he wasn't all over her. She looked over to Nate as she spoke to Giles. "Thanks. I guess that we go back to the lift." She turned herself around and headed back to it. At least they had someone to show them the way. Kay crumpled up the map and put it in her satchel as she stopped at the lift and waited for it to open.

Nate followed behind the "couple." Giles glances over his shoulder. "Who is that?" He asks Kay. The guy was acting weird following behind them. "I'm Nate. That all you need to know." He told Giles. Giles frowns. Nate was too old for Kay. He was old enough to be her Dad. Maybe it was her dad. "Ok. I'm Giles." He told Nate as they walked into the lift. Giles presses the button for 10th level.

Hawk and Jewel walks past the lift as it closes. Hawk thought that he caught a glimpse of Nate and Kay.

Kay was going to answer, but then Nate did it for her. As the doors closed she saw Hawk ever so briefly. What was he doing? Wasn't he supposed to pretend that he wasn't well? She looked over to Giles. "Has anyone tried to make repairs to Hawk's ship yet? The poor thing was quite damaged and not really well equipped to fly. That's probably why you guys caught up to us so easily." Not to mention that they have been basically kidnapped. She didn't want to be stuck here forever, nor did she want Hawk to either. He deserved to be with his family.

"Yeah..it's all fixed. Jewel wants to surprise Hawk with it. Your know it her wedding present to him." Says Giles. "What are your plans for after the wedding? Are you planning on sticking around?"

Nate rolls his eyes at Giles. The lift stops and doors slides open at level 10. The hanger bay was filled with crewman running around. Looks like they were preparing for a battle.

"Take a seat. I'll bring you some food sweetie". Said Jewel. Hawk took a seat. A few people recognize him and waved hello to him. Jewel came back a few minutes later with a tray of food. "All your favorites."

The wedding was still going ahead? Well, Jewel did say that it was going to be postponed, but....maybe he can have it annulled? Kay was about to answer Giles when the door to the lift opened. She stepped out and just stared at the crew all running about with clear urgency. Weapons were being prepared too. "Giles?....What's going on?.." She started to worry now.

"It just a drill. I think." Giles says sounding unsure. Over the PA speaker a man voice. "Jewel to the bridge. Everyone to battle station! This is not a drill!"

Giles eyes widen. He had no idea what was going on. "I should escort you guys back to the cafe or medical center."

Hawk was about to dig in when the announcement came overhead. "What's going on?" Jewel sighs frustrated. "King Prana. He isn't happy with us not delivering our captives for his entertainment. I have to head to bridge." She says. "Stay here . You will be safe."

Kay looked quickly over to Nate, then to Giles. "Hawk's in the medical centre. We should go there to be sure that he's okay and to protect him." At least she hoped that she was making the right choice. Without even waiting, she hurried back towards that lift.
