Nate had watched over both Kay and Hawk while they slept, it was quiet in the medical center that Kay's voice startled him . "Morning. He is finally slept. He should be good as new when he walks up." Nate says in a low whisper. "Doctor was able to replace his hand."

He moves to an empty bunk. Slowly lowers himself into it. It felt good to stretch out. He pulls the blanket up. "Don't allow me to sleep too long."

Was it morning already? She sat up just as Nate got into his bunk. Kay whispered, "Don't worry, I won't." She slid out of bed and walked over to Hawk, inspecting his hand with just her eyes. She didn't want to risk waking him. Hard to believe that she had slept through all of that. Must have been really tired.

Kay moved from his bed and over to the door, opened it and glanced down the hallway. She needed some tea and breakfast, but didn't want to leave the others behind. So she just waited for someone to pass by in the hallway.

Hawk shifts in the bunk.. He slowly wake up. He rubs his eyes with his new hand. It take him a moment to realize it. He didn't seeKay since she was in the hallway.

A slight snoring sound to the left of him alerted him to another person was in medical center. He turns his head. His jaw drops. It was his father..Nate. What the .

Kay started to lose her patience a bit as she didn't see any crew members. Yet she didn't want to leave the others either. So she went back into the room and noticed that Hawk was awake. She saw his reaction and knew exactly what it was about. So she walked over to him and whispered, "Hey....How're you feeling?"

"Better." He says quietly. "Good enough to get out of here now before Jewel realizes that. ". Slowly sits up. He really did feel better. He moves to put his feet on ground. "Fill me in what's going?"

"Don't worry. I don't think that there's going to be a wedding anytime soon. We got you healed up and your body has finally not rejected your new hand. Flex your fingers, see how it works." She continued to whisper, not wanting to wake Nate up.

Hawk flexed his fingers. It felt strange at first. "How did he get here?" He whispers to Kay. Hawk tense for a moe t when Nate rolled over onto his side.

He stood by the bunk. Testing his strength. He felt good as new.

Kay placed a hand on his shoulder to reassure him that everything was okay. "He was frozen in carbonite. Jewel...was going to sell him. She has others here. Whether or not she still plans on selling them, I don't know..."

"Good! He deserved that. We should go before he wakes up." He says in a harsh whisper. If Kay only knew what Nate did ...she would feel the same as him. "We don't need.him."

Nate shifts again in his sleep stretching his long legs. He would be awake soon.

Kay just blinked. Nate did say that he would be angry. But she had no idea why. "Hawk, we have to stick together. He helped me save you. Jewel is trying to separate us. He stood watch while I slept, so now I'm doing the same. Just forget about your past for a moment and focus on how we're all going to escape."

"Forget the past?. This isn't some childhood grudge. He had done some rotten things to fellow force users. He KIDNAPPED kids.." He says his voice rising with every word forgetting that Nate was sleeping in the same room.

Nate woke to hear half of what his son was saying. "At least your feeling better." Nate says to Hawk giving Kay a bemused smirk.

Kay sighed as Hawk had woken Nate up. But what he had said caused her to raise a brow. "What do you mean, kidnapped kids? Did he take them to the Academy? Or something else?"

Hawk laughs. "Nah nothing as nice as the academy. Noooo, he was taken them and selling them to the highest bidder. Weren't you Nate?"
Hawk turns to look at him

Nate frowns. "Not exactly, Hawk. I was undercover to discover where the kids and others were going too. The Jedi council sent me to find out. I will admit that I was very good at playing the part."

Hawk shakes his head. He didn't believe it.

Kay looked from one to the other. "...What happened to those kids?" She believed the both of them, but it didn't mean that she agreed with or was happy with what she was hearing. She hoped that their arguing didn't draw too much attention.

"I couldn't rescue all of the kids. Some of my "drop off" to the sellers went wrong and they were rescue by authorities." He says meaning that Nate leaked the info to planetary officials.

Hawk sighs. He really wanted to believe Nate's story. Just too much history between them. "Yeah you had to make it good. Some of those kids were sold into slavery. Great...so who knows what happen to them?"

Kay sighed. "Both of you stop it. There's a time and place for this, but now isn't it. We need to get out of here. I'm not entirely sure of where we are going, but we're not safe here. Not in the slightest..." Sure they were stubborn, but not as stubborn as she was. And they needed to settle their differences on another day.

"She is right Hawk. We need to work together." Nate says getting up. "Fine. Let's figure out how to get out of here."states Hawk. He wasn't happy with this turn of events.

"Too bad we can't just take over the ship." Says Hawk sarcastically.. "Why not? All we need to do is Jedi trick the girl. She seems weak minded to me." Says Nate.

Again Kay sighed. "We need to come up with a better plan than that. Just the three of us can't command this ship and if it was that easy to subdue Jewel, don't you think that Hawk would have it a long time ago?"

"Okay.. You have a point there" admits Nate. Hawk scratches the back of his head. Trying to think of a plan. "Besides we aren't leaving without my ship." Mutters Hawk

"Kakikaze here? Why don't we just fly out of here on it?" Asks Nate. "Damaged..unless they have fixed." He turns to look at Kay. "Have they?"

She shrugged her shoulders. "I have no idea. I've only been to the mess hall. But last we knew, Jewel wanted it for herself." At least the two weren't bickering anymore. For the moment. "Let's see if we can go for a wander. It'll be easy enough to say that we just got lost. What do you say?"
