Hawk shrugs. "I have no idea. But they are hailing us." He switches the speaker on. It crackles then a faint voice. "Kamikaze... Are you in distress?" Voice sounds familiar to Hawk. He was having trouble placing. " nah just thought we take the scenic route home"

She raised a brow as they were being hailed. Normally pirates shoot first. Then the fact that Hawk's expression showed that he was puzzling over something, was also a cause for concern. She sipped her tea. "Pirates don't normally ask if we're in trouble..."

"No, they don't...but..old friends do." He says searching his memory. Than it clicked. "Jewel.. It's Jewel." He switches his com on about to respond when Jewel's voice came on again.

"Kamikaze...scenic route really? We already scanned your ship. We know you need assistance. You have a few small hill breaches. Prepare for tractor beam. Do not resist."

Hawk raises an eyebrow at Kay. "Guess we are being rescue." He felt the ship shudder slightly when the it caught in the beam.

"Do not resist?...Hawk...why would an old friend tell you that? Who is she?"

Her eyes glanced around the cockpit and then looked to the viewport as the ship was caught in the tractor beam. She sipped her tea and just stared. Kay had a very bad feeling about this.

"Just an old girlfriend that all." He says sounding sheepishly. He was hoping that she wasn't holding any grudges. They didn't part well. The ship shudders as it being pulled into the larger ship.

"I hope I charm her. Going to be hard lacking a hand." Maybe Jewel will feel sorry for them. He doubts it.

Kay held onto her tea so that it wouldn't spill as the ship shuddered. She smirked about his lack of confidence due to his missing hand. "You mean that you couldn't charm her with your wit and smile? Oh come on now, Hawk. I remember your reputation. Just give it a try, but only if she threatens us."

Hawk laughs. "Yeah charm and wit. We haven't bath in a few days..shaved. I'm sure she will swoon at my feet." He glances up at the ceiling when a loud clang and banging sounded.

They were inside of the pirate ship. "Let go meet our jailer." He stand and hits the release unsealing the cockpit door. The slides open. A firely red headed woman stood in front of the door.

"Hello Hawk." She says her voice full of emotion.

Kay laughed a little. "Swooning or fainting?" She looked up at the ceiling as well when the ship was secured and then finished her tea, setting it down just as the door opened. It came as no surprise that this old girlfriend of his was a red head. She looked from one to the other before responding. "Thanks for the rescue. It's much appreciated."

"Hey Jewel." He says gives her a charming smile as best he could with his arm begin to ache again. Jewel ignores his greeting to focus on Kay. "Be careful with this one." She says indicating Hawk. "He will break your heart."

"This isn't a rescue. We are taking the ship. Kamikaze belongs to me now, Throw them in the brig for now while I decide what to do with them."

At the mention of Hawk potentially breaking her heart, Kay gave her a look of disgust. "Eww, Hawk is like a brother to me. I'm not being courted by him."

It would be a little difficult for anyone to do much of anything in that cockpit cramped with supplies, so she just stood there. "You don't need to lock us up. We won't be any trouble, will we Hawk?" She gave him a look to incline him to agree.

Jewel dismissed Kay's comment about Hawk being like a brother to her. "Kay, is right we don't need to be locked up. We are not a threat to you. I'm injured." He shows her his stump. Jewel face softens. She brushes a lock of her red hair behind her ear as she looks at what left of his right arm.

"That looks like a saber wound.". She gingerly touches his arm. Hawk winces in pain. "Ok...medical center for both of you. I'll let doc check you guys out. A guards will be with you at all time. You misstep and into the brig you go."

Kay still wasn't sure if she liked this. Hawk had alot of explaining to do. But at least they weren't prisoners, so to speak. Although what was to become of them, she wasn't sure.

"Thank you. I'm sure that your doctor can do better than what I could with a first aid kit." She kept her force healing out of it. Didn't need that spreading, afterall.

"He better." Jewel leans in and whispers in Hawk's ear, "betray me again and won't just be missing an arm." Hawk smirks. "Love it when you whisper sweet nothing in my ear,". Jewel rolls her eyes and turns away,

They follows Jewel's guards to the medical center. The doctor on duty was kindly older man. "Ahh Hawk." He says happy to see the young, "I heard you were back. Take seat and let me look at you." Hawk sits on table, "I'm Doctor Hutchison." He says introducing himself to Kay. "So tell what happen here?"

"I lost my arm in the ship accident." Hawk says lying, Doc looks at him. "All right. Take off your shirt." Hawk hestiates a moment. "Shy? Not like this girl hasn't seen you naked yet." Hawk laughs. "She not my girl.. She just a very close friend."

Kay raised a brow at the exchange between Jewel and Hawk, but wasn't quite surprised about it. She followed them to the med bay and bowed her head to the doctor. Although Hawk's lying caused her to raise a brow.

"I hope to not see him naked...But I can step out if you need to. I'm sure a guard will make sure that I don't wander off.."

Why would he lie about what happened? They were pirates obviously but they had nothing of value. Fighting the Sith was common for Jedi like him.

"That is up to Hawk." Says the Doc. Hawk shook his head. "No please stay Kay." It didn't matter to the Doc. He helped Hawk remove his shirt. The man's chest was badly bruised. "Hawk what have you gotten yourself into? I don't believe your ship did this."

"No..doc it just a little fight. I lost big time." Doc laughs softly. "A little fight. You lost your hand to lightsaber. Why the frak were you messing around the saber? Your not Sith or one of thos Jedi". Hawk had kept his force skills on the down low with old smuggling contacts.

"I know your right. I shouldn't have messed with a Sith. Good thing he was already injuries or I would have died." Doc nods and got back to working on him.

She stayed as she was asked and listened to the conversation. So they didn't know...No wonder he had her stay. She had to learn what the deal was between Hawk and these people.

"I wasn't really much help myself, outside of trying to make sure that he didn't bleed out or anything before we could get help. We're both lucky that you were here. What brings you all out this way anyways?"

"I'm not the one to ask." Grunts doc. He removes the bandages around Hawk chest and arm. He mutters to himself. "It is healing very well. Almost like you had some help from a Healer." He cast an eye on Kay. "who taught you?" He asks as he using applies bacta wraps around Hawk.

Well it was worth a shot asking, anyways. She looked to Hawk briefly before answering Doctor Hutchison. "I had a husband that was a warrior, so as you can imagine, he got hurt a few times. I suppose you could say that I was taught by experience...."

"Self taught. Not bad." Doc said as he continue to exam Hawk. "He got a fever. Little dehydrated. I'm going recommend to Jewel that you both need a couple of days of rest. Especially you Hawk. You look done in. I'm gonna fit you with a new hand."

Hawk nods. "Thanks Doc." Doc gave Hawk a shot of antibotic. "Don't thank me yet. Jewel still mad about last time." He steps into the another to give his report to Jewel.

Kay smiled a little at the compliment, but raised a brow at telling Jewel that they needed rest. As opposed to what? Were they headed to a labour camp?

Once the doctor left, she turned her attention to Hawk. "What's going on? What happened with you and this crew?" He had a lot of explaining to do.
