Materials
Materials
- Base Textiles and Comfort Layers
- Softspun Duracotton: Soft, breathable knit forming the smooth outer face of the suit.
- Bodymesh Textile: High stretch panels at shoulders, underarms, waist, knees, and hips for full range of motion.
- Moochi Mink: Ultra-soft, 4-way stretch inner comfort lining at torso and joints, adding "squishy" plush feel without excess bulk.
- TriLayer Thermofleece Knit: Proprietary FFS three layer fabric composed of a smooth moisture wicking outer knit, a thin elastic insulation core, and a soft microfleece inner face that mimics fleece lined leggings across the whole body.
- Padding and Comfort
- Reifflex Cellular Padding: Thin inserts at spine, collar, and hip points to reduce pressure under belts and harnesses.
- Puff Plush Fleece: Optional thicker comfort panels at lower back, chest, and seat for maximum cozy insulation during long hyperspace transits or cold posts.
- Foam Comfort Bands: Light padding at cuffs, ankles, and along zipper lines to prevent chafing.
- Environmental and Travel Protection
- Polydimethylsiloxane: Water resistant seam sealant that reduces fabric saturation in rain and snow.
- Anti Odor Treatment: Simple antimicrobial wash to keep long term wear more tolerable in the field.
- Notable Absences
- The Fleece-Lined Thermal Body Glove is intentionally non armoured and is not designed to stop weapons or shrapnel.

SPECIAL FEATURES
- Full body thermal body glove that mimics the comfort of fleece lined leggings from neck to wrists and ankles.
- TriLayer Thermofleece knit with smooth moisture wicking outer face, elastic insulation core, and soft microfleece inner lining.
- Bodymesh stretch zones at high motion joints to preserve flexibility for combat, acrobatics, or physical labor.
- Flatlock seams, soft zipper guards, and mild compression fit to reduce chafing and hot spots under armor and robes.
- Optional thumb loops, stirrup hems, or footed legs to keep the suit anchored under boots and bracers.
- Quick drying fabric that retains a portion of its insulating effect even when damp and sheds light rain or snow before soaking through.
- Anti odor and antimicrobial treatment suited for long duty shifts, starship jumps, and disaster relief deployments.
- STRENGTHS
-
- Warm Second Skin: Provides notable insulation in cold, windy, or high altitude environments while remaining slim enough to vanish under robes, uniforms, or armor plates.
- Freedom of Movement: High stretch patterning and Bodymesh panels keep mobility close to that of bare skin for martial arts, lightsaber work, or athletic tasks.
- Comfort Under Kit: Flat seams, padding at pressure points, and a gentle compression fit reduce chafing and gear bite from belts, harnesses, and armor harness rigs.
- Field Friendly: Quick drying, anti odor treatment, and easy laundering make it practical for Jedi, troopers, spacers, and relief volunteers who live out of packs or bunks.
- Truly Generic: Neutral cut and materials allow it to be worn under nearly any style of clothing or armor without advertising allegiance beyond the FFS marking on the inner tag.
- WEAKNESSES
-
- Not Armor: Offers no meaningful protection against blasters, blades, shrapnel, or concussive impacts and should not be treated as protective gear.
- Heat Buildup: In hot or humid climates, or under heavy armor in direct sun, the same insulation that preserves warmth can quickly become uncomfortable without breaks.
- Soaked Performance Drop: When completely saturated, the suit feels heavy and clammy until dried and its thermal performance is reduced.
- Fire Vulnerability: Prolonged contact with flame, superheated plasma, or industrial heat sources will scorch or destroy the fabric.

DESCRIPTION
The FFS Fleece-Lined Thermal Body Glove began as a simple indulgence: a set of fleece lined leggings that was too comfortable to take off when the mission was over. From there, the design was stretched and stitched into a full body second skin that covers the wearer from collarbone to wrists and ankles, wrapping the whole frame in the same gentle warmth.
At its heart is a three layer knit. The outer face behaves like a high end athletic suit, wicking sweat away and sliding cleanly under outer garments. Beneath that, a thin elastic insulation layer traps a small volume of warm air close to the skin without adding bulk. The innermost face is a soft microfleece that feels more like a favorite blanket than technical gear, turning armor prep into something closer to pulling on sleepwear made for the gym.
Bodymesh zones at shoulders, hips, knees, and spine ensure that the suit flexes and stretches with every lunge, fall, or vault. Flatlock seams and padded zipper guards keep irritations to a minimum even when worn for days at a time beneath layered robes, work coveralls, pressure suits, or plate harnesses. Thumb loops and stirrup options let wearers lock sleeves and legs in place so nothing rides up when gauntlets or boots go on.
There is no hidden armor in the Fleece-Lined Thermal Body Glove. No plates, no woven metals, nothing that will keep a bolt out or a blade from biting. It exists to keep people warm, dry, and a little bit more comfortable in a galaxy that rarely offers comfort freely. For Jedi on snowbound ridgelines, mechanics in unheated hangars, medics in storm drenched camps, or spacers watching the stars from a cold deck, the FFS Fleece-Lined Thermal Body Glove is simply the layer they put on first and are slow to give back.
