PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Concussion missile
  • Size: Large
  • Weight: Very Heavy
  • Explosive Type: Coaxium warhead
  • Delivery Method: Launched from starship concussion missile tube/launcher
  • Effective Range: Average
  • Area Of Effect: Very Large
  • Stopping Power: Extreme
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Shielded warhead
  • Internal temperature regulators
  • Big Fething Boom
STRENGTHS
  • Kaboom: Coaxium is extremely explosive, even moreso when intentionally made to explode. This thing could level a mountain.
  • Shielded: To help prevent the missile from being prematurely detonated, the warhead is fitted with a ray shield projector, protecting against energy weapons. Even then, lasers must make it through the doonium shell of the missile to blow it up.
WEAKNESSES
  • Volatile: Extreme caution must be taken in transporting and loading the missile, as improper care can lead to premature detonation which is...never fun, to say the least.
  • Proper Storage Necessary: Even with the expensive temperature regulators, it is advised to keep the missile stored away from any sources of heat, lest the coaxium warhead become unstable before it is required to.
  • Splash Damage: You better hit what you intend to hit with this thing, because if you miss, well, then say a prayer for the poor farmer whose town this thing is about to level, because the splash damage radius is quite large. This also means that even if you do hit the right target, friendlies near the point of impact are still in danger of being reduced to stardust and memories.
  • Dumb: Once fired, the missile cannot change or redirect its course on accounts of being a 'dumb' fire-and-forget missile (not that you should exactly forget firing it)
  • Expensive as Hell: Because of the coaxium used in the missiles, as well as the temperature regulators used to ensure the missiles don't explode before they're supposed to, they are very, very expensive to manufacture, hence why only enough coaxium was spared to make six of the thing.
  • EMP/Ion Weapons: The ray shields on the missile cannot protect it from ion weapons disabling the thrust and shielding systems. Such weapons, as a result, also disable the internal temperature regulators, so if the missile is stored somewhere not shielded from such weapons, there is great risk of premature detonation.
  • Physical Rounds: The ray shields also do not protect the missile from physical rounds such as flak cannons or railguns, since ray shields only protect against energy weapons.
DESCRIPTION
The Fat Hutt-class coaxium missile is, as its name implies, a very large missile created by Aurelius Baldor, Lord Commissioner of the Shadow Hand Cartel. You see, Baldor is a businessman, and when a bunch of smelly bastards who hate technology are on the verge of storming into the sector he calls home and wrecking up the place, that's bad for business. So what is a man with ample access to an extremely volatile fuel source to do? Why, shove it into big ol' concussion missiles made out of doonium, each with a hand-written message telling the Bryn’adûl which bodily location they can suck and where to shove their invasion fleets.

There's not a whole lot to tell about it, to be honest. It's not some highly advanced missile that can launch itself from the other side of the solar system and make you a cup of tea while you wait, it's just a missile with a shielded warhead that can take a very, very sizable chunk out of the sorry bastard on the other end of it. Once the missile is launched, the internal temperature systems heat up the warhead, raising the coaxium inside from room temperature and making it become unstable. When the temperature of the coaxium is raised, even a glancing impact against the hull of a ship will cause the missile to explode in spectacular fashion. So, uh, try not to look directly at the point of impact without proper eyewear.

Baldor initially had just one missile made, as a contingency plan to buy more time to escape Kessel, but the Devaronian, in his genius, decided to have five more built: one more for himself, and four with the intent to gift to people Baldor thinks would put this big force-damned missile to its best use. The missiles are kept safe in individual canisters made of impervium, each with their own additional temperature regulators, kept at a comfortable, non-life-threatening temperature.

Changes made:

  • Font changed to Georgia (personal preference)
  • EMP/Ion weakness added
  • Physical rounds weakness added
  • 'Dumb' weakness added
  • Delivery method changed from "Launched/Self-propelled" to "Launched from starship concussion missile tube/launcher"

This is getting extremely close to the territory of creating a Nuke. Which are banned. So the following edits are Required. Not Suggestions.

  • Weakness of EMP/Ion weaponry. Due to Ray Shields not being able to defend against those.
  • Weakness to physical rounds such as Flak Cannons as a Ray Shields defend against Energy weapons. Not physical.
  • Due to it being Self Propelled, this would be classified as a "Dumb Bomb" where when in mid flight, you cannot change or direct its course to be altered.

Finally a question for you. What is the medium in which this can be launched from?

Ah yeah, I'll add those under weaknesses. My intention wasn't a nuke, just a missile that makes a really big boom, no radioactive aftermath. And as it was modified from a concussion missile, it was intended to be fired from a concussion missile tube such as those on the Victory-class. The required changes have been made and noted.
