While mainly a vanity project of some rich mining mogul, the castle was built up to serve as a formidable fortress within the dangerous region of Wild Space. The quaint stony exterior is only a cover for quadanium and neutronium lined structures, further reinforced by a network of anticoncussion field generators. The whole castle was built over small rocky island that forms a hard base that extends deep below the surface.
For aerial defense, Farrador mostly relies on the planetary air defense network already established by the First Order. However, the castle is equipped with its own DSS-02 shield generator, a recent addition by Suravi herself.
The castle and wide expanse of grounds are patrolled by a combination of private security teams and Suravi's own Republican Guard. The entire estate is monitored by foot patrols, vehicle teams, fixed sensor nodes, and aerial scans by drones. Security mostly exists to keep the hotel guests and staff orderly and to prevent theft and trespassing.
All structures are equipped with osmotic field generators to filter containments and to keep occupants comfortable with precise atmospheric control. Cyber security, building access, and comms are covered by socket guards, code cylinders, and Mithril security software.

Farrador castle is a large seaside complex that serves as Suravi's personal estate on Dosuun. Including the outlying fields and woods, the whole estate covers about 232,000 acres (363 square kilometers) of land from coast to interior. While she rarely makes an appearance on Dosuun, the castle is always occupied by a small army of maintainers who have formed their own permanent community within the estate. For the Moff, the castle functions little more than as a status symbol and a site for hosting social gatherings.
Previously, under the management of the Kingdom Group, part of the castle was converted into a luxury hotel, and she had kept that business in operation while retaining the staff brought in by Kingdom. Farrador is also one of Dosuun's single largest suppliers of fresh produce, honey, and wine, and have begun exporting to nearby systems within the sector. These businesses together have created yet another revenue stream for Suravi.
History:
The castle was originally constructed by Stannis Farrador in 35 ABY, a wealthy prospector who had previously been an admiral within the old Galactic Empire and subsequent Imperial Remnant. A nostalgic with too many credits on his hands, he modeled the castle after ancient designs from the pre-hyperspace age. Along with the castle, he would also raise large orchards and vineyards on cleared tracts of lands. From the walls of the castle, he would manage his empire of mining operations until his death in 83 ABY.
Ownership of the estate would be passed down through the Farrador family over the centuries until the mid 400s, when the family was bankrupted following the outbreak of the Gulag Plague. As much of their business had revolved around supplying industrial inner rim and core worlds with raw materials, their companies would practically poof overnight.
Between the 400s and 800s, the castle switched hands between several individuals and organizations, using it for different purposes like as a fortress or commune. In some periods, it would be outright abandoned as it had little strategic value, the grounds left to be reclaimed by the forests.
So the castle would remain in a dilapidated state until about the mid 800s, when the First Order began its rise on Dosuun. As the First Order began an aggressive development of their territories in Wild Space, the Kingdom Group would swoop in to acquire the estate on the cheap as part of their luxury portfolio with the intent to sell off the renovated property at profit. The main complex was completely refurbished, and the outlying lands in the nearby vicinity were cleared once more. While under their direct management, the castle became a retreat for the wealthy and elites of the First Order. They would also make a tidy profit on some of the recovered orchards and vineyards, Farrador becoming one of the top local suppliers of fresh produce to all of Dosuun.
Shortly after assuming the position of Moff within the First Order, Suravi Teigra would go on to purchase the whole estate from the Kingdom Group with, her second after purchasing a summer home on Seoul. The castle would receive a new round of renovations to beef up security, and the orchards and wineries were expanded to increase production for the intergalactic market.
Intent: Fleshing out Dosuun with some interesting locations and creating a site for future events.
