DESCRIPTION
Equipped with two frontal beamdrills, the Fargodeep tunnel boring machine is borne from the need to excavate tunnels in a frontline environment, and, unlike other tunnel boring machines, is armed and can engage infantry as well as unarmored vehicles, useful when the tunnel being drilled by a Fargodeep is compromised by the enemy and can then fend them off until reinforcements arrive. Due to the hazards of operating ERA-equipped vehicles when drilling a tunnel, especially if the enemy destroys one of these vehicles, the Fargodeep is equipped with slat armor instead. Of course, one of the main weaknesses of the Fargodeep is that the wheels are vulnerable to even small arms fire, and another weakness is that the ground rumbling above a Fargodeep can give its position away if used at low depths.
