Family a Link to the Past A Bridge to the Future

Baroonda

Taking a deep breath Phoebe's eyes lightly closed for a brief second as she took in her surroundings. Sound of birds chirping and trees swaying in the breeze filled the air. She loved the peacefulness that this planet brought even now years later. It had always been a home away from home for her even when she was Empress.

The planet held many found memories for Phoebe. She remembered living here for a brief time with her parents and siblings when things were happy briefly. The home that was built had always been a well kept secret as well as Phoebe's love for it. She didn't want people to think she missed the simple things nor did she really believe it her until now.

400 years had done Phoebe a world of good. She not only had learned what she wanted from life but found someone to share her life with. She was happier than she ever had been as Empress. The only thing she really wanted or needed was her family though power was nice too. She enjoyed running a company, taking care of a planet and castle while Isley was away.

Her family she knew to be long dead so going to find them was hopeless. Still she couldn't help but want to find what family, if any, were left in this galaxy. Isley's siblings all appearing as of recent had sparked an interest in her to discover her own roots. This seemed like a good place to start. She was thrilled to also share the experience of coming back here with @[member="Isley Verd"].

She for a brief moment forgot about everything and just basked in the glory of the planet spinning around for a few seconds before she saw Isley which made her stop. Blushing a bit she couldn't help but laugh and shake her head a little at her silliness. "It's this way from what I recall," she pointed a little to her left. Currently the couple was standing in a little clearing surrounded by nothing but greenery on either side but that wasn't going to last long as where they were going was deep within the forest.

"I hope it's still there," she sighed biting her lip a little as she began to walk backwards towards where she had originally pointed. Phoebe knew coming here was a long shot but she had to try and she was very happy to have her husband along for the ride as well. It meant a lot to her that he was taking the time to come with her. She very much wanted him to know her family history her past and who she was before him. This planet was a good start to this.

Phoebe and Isley Verd were two opposing ends of the veritable spectrum at times. Where the former was lost in sentimental thoughts and memories, the latter was on edge. The simple fact was that the past of his beloved wife had prompted a visit to a world known as Baroonda; and resulted in their current voyage throuh a forest. Isley had not even the slightest clue as to what they would find on this excursion, but his guard was raised sky high whilst they walked about the foreign environment. He was woefully unprepared, having no knowledge of what sort of fauna or people called the world home; and these facts alone caused his instincts to be on high alert. However, the Mandalorian did not voice his thoughts nor did he allow his raised guard to change his mannerisms?

Why? Because this was an experience that meant the world to his beloved and he would be the ultimate husband. "This place is beautiful." he said with a smile. This was one of the rare occassions that his helmet was off of his head and nestled under the crook of his arm, and Isley jogged ahead two steps so that he might take Phoebe's hand in his own. "Lead on Sweets." To this he added a peck on the cheek before lacing his fingers through hers. The Mandalorian's brow gently touched hers for a moment in a keldabe kiss before he set his attention back on the path ahead. Though on guard...He was going to be the sweetest and most supportive spouse that he could.

She knew he was nervous that they were on a strange planet however Phoebe couldn't understand his worry. They were both masters of the Force whom were very capable of protecting themselves. She also believed that her parents would not have had them live here so long ago if it wasn't a safe place to be. She was sure it still was and if not well they were well equipped to deal with anything. They made a great team not only in marriage but as a pair of Force Users as well.

They didn't get much time to spend alone as they both were busy within the confederacy and than at home they had three daughters. There was never any peace and quiet so considering everything this was rather nice though not super romantic it was nice to spend time like this with the man that she loved. She was sure they could find a way to make it romantic. "I'm sure we will only find ruins," she stated as they began walking hand in hand though the jungle stepping over fallen branches and through various wildlife. "If that's so there still may be something there to uncover."

As they continued walking the couple soon came across an ancient home covered in vines and weeds but still standing. Phoebe stopped for a moment shocked that it was still there. She thought it would be long gone but it seemed someone had taken care of it or at least that was what she supposed happened since it was still standing. Hopefully it was family..

Pausing she tried to sense anything in the home but got nothing but that didn't mean it was safe. "What do you think should we venture inside?"
