Faction Bling suggestion

First - No! I cant make em!

But faction bling is fun and draws attention to the Galactic republic as it places a characters achievements on the board every time one posts.

Here is a list of suggested medals.

Medal of Honor - Medal for exceptional performance in battle.
Medal of Bravery - Medal for exceptional bravery in defending the republic
"World" medal - Medal for taking part in a succesful dominion. A new for each world.
Medal of peace - Medal for having completed peaceful negotiations.
Republic star - Medal given for long term service in the republic
Republic service medal - medal for civilians who contribute greatly to the republic
Medal of honor - Medal awarded to those who has helped restore assets of the republic. Be it build a hospital or whatnot.

So if anyone knows how to make bling this could be stuff to hand out, preferably in RP threads lead by a politician/senator. Thus giving us a RP opportunity as well.

No offense, but this sounds...superfluous considering the issues we've been having with activity. As much as we talk about increasing RP, I keep seeing distractions pop up.

EDIT: Also, these could tie into dominion awards/invasion awards/activity awards/etc. The Sith have those Subjugator tag things, why can't we have cool bling for the accomplishments that we've done? That kind of thing leads to a boost of morale. A boost of morale leads to more posts. More posts leads to getting more things done. Have at it!

I keep seeing distractions pop up.

If that logic was followed, real life would technically be a "distraction" too.

Don't see them as distractions, but incentives.
