- Loudspeakers: Built into the turret, the Lynx comes with a set of loudspeakers capable of braodcasting not only the driver's voice for effective communication between squads in need of pick up, but also music to drown out enemy communcation.
- Scanning Package: The Lynx comes with the standard array of GADF vehicle sensors. Infrared, Night Vision, Biometric Scanners are all included.
- Sealed System: So long as the ramp is closed, the Lynx is a sealed vessel, making gas attacks or any form of biological warfare ineffective against the Lynx, so long as the seal stays shut. The Lynx has also been imbued by jedi to act as a shield against any mental attacks for anyone inside, allowing the unit inside to push forward without risk of fear based routs.
- Get in, Get out Alive: The Lynx was specialty designed with a single purpose in mind. Get men in and out of a warzone. With Mando firepower, the airspeeders, while still functional, don't cut it for massive battles anymore. Capable of speeds up to 70 miles an hour, and with a combo of heavy shields and armor, the Lynx is designed for survivability in mind.
- Modular Turret: The Turret, capable of being disconnected from the Lynx, is capable of being retrofitted with any vehicle capable weapon in the WSR or FA arsenal required for a mission. Some weapons may change the speed of the Lynx, at the trade of firepower.
- Bubble Shield: The Lynx comes with a massive deflector shield generator. This is deployable beyond the length of the vehicle, making it so that unloading or loading under fire is able to be done.
- Forward Scout: Regardless of configuration, the Lynx comes with a deployable set of probe droids that are designed to act as forward scouts for the vehicle and squad inside.
- Locked in Place: The Deflector Shield, while powerful, does force the Lynx to stay in place so long as it's active, unable to be activated while the Lynx is in motion.
- Heavy AF: Unlike speeders, the Lynx isn't capable of dealing with adverse terrain such as rivers and deep swamps.
- Not a Walker: The Lynx, unlike other vehicles in the FA's arsenal, is not entirely all terrain. The APC is designed for solid ground, not swamps or rivers.
After years in Si Tech's service, the Lynx had become a backbone of the GADF, WSR, and now the FA's military presence across the galaxy. But with time, upgrades were needed. The modular turret was standardized, and force imbuements added. At it's cost, armor had to be reduced, and the internal space shifted to allow two less men inside.
The Lynx with it's upgrades will continue to serve the light side of the galaxy for years to come.
