SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:
  • Environmentally Friendly: Designed to protect pilots from not only vacuum but other possibilities such as a flaming cockpit or even crash landing in a hostile environment, this flight suit provides serious protection against the elements.
  • Move like a butterfly: Thanks to the lightness of the materials used, the F-34 Flight Suit is quite flexible and easy to move in.
  • Back in the Fight: Thanks to the Bio-Restorative Underaly and its included Adrenal Stims, wounded pilots may get back in the fight faster, and those seriously wounded can be stabilized, lasting longer until medical help arrives.
Weaknesses:
  • Space Cowboy: These flight suits are not designed for ground combat, or to protect from personal weapons. Thanks to this, there is little resistance to Blasters or wepaons such as Slugthrowers from the F-34, making them more lethal than they would be against a regular infantryman's armour.
  • Bluescreen: Many features of this Flight Suit, including the Adrenal Auto-Injector within the Underlay will shut down if hit by Ion or EMP attacks, which the suit has no protection against.
  • Lord and Saber: Despite the fact that the Sith's most common enemies tend to wield the Force and Lightsabers, this flight suit offers zero protection against both, making a Pilot just as likely to be sliced in half as if he wasn't wearing anything at all.
DESCRIPTION

As military engagements become more and more frequent across the galaxy and the Great Galactic War begins to rage, the Sith Imperial Armada found that it required more manpower as fleets were organized and larger ships were staffed. It also however, required more pilots to handle Starfighter craft. As recruitment continued, logistics officers within the Sith Armada proposed a standardized Sith Imperial Pilot Flight Suit, one that would emphasize protection on the pilot and on their potential survival in the case of a crash.

The F-34 is designed around this premise, protecting from hostile environments of any kind as well as the vacuum of space itself. It was also for this reason that a Bio-Restorative Underlay was included in the design, in order to stabilize seriously wounded pilots post-crash or even while they still piloted a damaged craft. Adrenal Stim auto-injectors were added to aid in refocusing the pilot and preventing him or her doing more damage to their ship.

Thanks to this design focus however, the F-34 isn't much use in a ground combat AO. Blaster or Slugthrower fire will break through it quite quickly, and a lightsaber will easily slice it to shreds, along with the pilot inside. The suit is not designed with the long-term in mind. If a pilot is not rescued beyond when his suit stops being useful, then he most likely isn't going to be at all.
