The second brainchild of the young droid nut Kaili Talith. The EY-3 droid named ‘Alex’ (or ‘Alexandria’) was created on a whim by the young Talith in an experiment to see how much data she could fill a droid with while still keeping it fully operational. While originally not intended to be a piece of hardware for her brother but rather herself, Kaili stumbled upon a vast array of historical and religious databases during one of her weekly Holonet scrounging rounds. Figuring that a travel companion for her brother was just as much fun to create as it was to create one for herself, she handed the finished product over to him.
Besides, she already had Henry and the idea of letting her brother have a droid that questioned every single historic or religious event within its databases struck the young girl as a very hilarious practical (literally) joke to play on her sibling.
Except for the various information on religion and history she took the time to also integrate the same hardware as she had outfitted her own robot with. A fusioncutter for efficient field use, a holo- camera and projector for the sake of easy documentation in case Micah would ever need it as well as a wide array of other tools that would help make the balance between a tolerable nuisance and an extraordinary helper for young Micah.
It goes to take note that the small slugthrower has the stopping power of a boosted BB-gun. Effective for remotely poking small holes in people, ineffective against anything even remotely armored. That is of course not to mention the magazine size that can only fit 3 rounds all-in-all before the manual reload at the hands of the owner (Micah) has to take place.
Still, if that wasn’t enough the girl took the time to download the most sensually robotic voice she could find. Perhaps as an indicator for her brother to find himself a girl, or perhaps as a way to just further improve upon the prank. Nobody would ever truly know, not even Kaili. Because in reality, it was just about the first download link that she could find that didn’t sound like the off-the-mill gold-colored protocol droid of Jedi past.
Lastly, the droid was outfitted with a tracking chip which was attuned to other droids created by Kaili Talith in case one or the other was lost somehow, and considering that both Micah and Kaili -- and all else who got a droid from Kail -- were expected to have extensive use of each droid provided to them it was also an easy way to always know where the other friends were. That meaning, rather than embedding a tracker within one another the trackers were installed into the chassis of the droids to ensure that they could be recovered one way or another. With or without their proper owner.
