James Justice
Charting new Paths
"There be many was to threaten freedom," James declared, his voice booming over the mic. There were dozens of people here; reporters, journalist, sightseers, celebrities, his constituents, those who had worked to get him in office. “Sometimes we be knowing it when we see it; the man who holds our rights, or the one who be keeping us held from where we want to go or what we want to do. Dictators steal our rights and our monies away.
“But the loss of freedom sometimes be coming in strange ways. The bully who keeps us from going to the park as a kid. The criminal who makes us fear to walk the streets. These be threats to our freedom as well. Even if we dun’t have someone enslaving us, we are threatened when another is enslaved. I promise ye that I will work to fight for freedom on every front we find. In space, on the land, on the seas we will fight them. And we will never stop fighting them. Not until every child knows their father will be coming home safe at night and every mother can sleep knowing her children know no fear.”
The words echoed through his head. When his predecessor had vanished into thin air he was elected in an emergency act. But now he wondered if he was the hero this group needed—or the villain that would bring them all down. His eyes roved over Annaj bellow him. There was much work to do, he thought, he would figure out who he was later.
The Lost Angel came down with a graceful landing in the corrupt planet’s capital. In his traditional leather jacket and pilot’s clothing he strode into the rest of the capital, appearing to be nothing more than another spacer. That was exactly what he needed them to think—for now. A of the corrupt police passed James. The spacer drew his heavy blaster pistol, turning on his heel and gunning one down where he stood. The other saw his partner go down to the ground, his eyes widening in shock. What had just happened? James allowed himself to be disarmed and captured. A few moments later he was tossed into a cell with several other dingy criminals who looked like they hadn’t seen the light of day in months—if not years. No judge, no jury, just a prison cell.
James stood, brushing himself off. Time to get to work.
B. A credit trail of drug trafficking from Xal 3 was traced back here, to the drug barons of Annaj. We must destroy the many drug plantations and uproot the drug barons here. How you chose to do so is up to you.
C. Investigate the banking crisis. Some of the numbers of the loans to Xal 3 do not add up--nor do the claims to relief. Find out what happened to these missing resources
D. Be a snowflake.
Have fun, lets go for 100 posts on this thread, if not more. Cheers!

A. The rescued prisoners from our previous thread, Genesis, delivered vital information. A mass genocide is being planned to wipe all non-humans off this world. We must facilitate their mass escape without arousing too much suspicion. Hurry, round up and execution in the streets start at noon.B. A credit trail of drug trafficking from Xal 3 was traced back here, to the drug barons of Annaj. We must destroy the many drug plantations and uproot the drug barons here.
