Game Evolution (NO! Not Pokemon!)

Would you say that your character has evolved? If so, how?

[Kinley Pryse]

This character has only been around for a small amount of time but I can already feel her transforming into a darker story than I had originally planned to tell.

I know Connel has evolved a lot. He's a lot more confident than he used to be and has really dived deep into the shadow work.

 

[Dreidi Xeraic]

Started in the CIS. Was a pure Jedi who had to deal with legacy of powerful and brilliant parents. One of whom died not long after she became a Padawan.

Developed into a punk rock Jedi Witch with her own family and living her best life trying to learn and understand the differing Force cultures in the galaxy.

 

[The Lord of Hunger]

started out as a flamboyant, absurdly arrogant member of the CIS, through some ups and downs, a long hiatus... this guy's a hate-filled megalomaniac who funny enough sees unlimited evolution as the true path towards greatnes.

 

[Balun Dashiell]

100% yes - though there's still a lot of potential as he ages.

Thanks to Judah Dashiell , Balun has developed and evolved hugely once he found his family in the Dashiells. I was feeling a little lost for direction as I wanted to take him in the whole Rogue Force-User direction and do something different from my standard Jedi characters. While he does have a lot in common with the ethos, the OOC invitation and discussion with Judah around Balun joining the Dashiells have opened doors for him as a character that I never saw coming. It's given him depth and created a set of relationships with his long-lost father, brother and their side of the family. His mother is still out there somewhere, and we've even discussed future possibilities, such as someone playing her or perhaps an NPC for her, but I haven't fully decided on that one.

The problem I have at the moment is that I'm trying to do too much with Balun, and as a result, I don't have the time to cover all the bases. Realistically, he couldn't achieve all these things within the time he has. As such, I've had to create NPCs as a means of outsourcing work, such as Tharan Zeren Kai, who now runs Dashiell Retrofit™ in Balun's absence. Balun's trying to establish a trading colony on a planet in High Republic space, while also raising a three-year-old son and training under Ala Quin as well.

All this at the young age of twenty-three!
