It was a late night when the doors to the Ruby Nexu opened to a pair of armed guards, both wearing a form of armor across their torsos, escorting a woman. The two of them were each holding a shotgun, with a slugthrower pistol on their sides. Each wearing an emblem of a purple snake's skull with its fangs bared, dripping violet venom. It was a common emblem found on the many Thugs and guards of the Ruby Nexu. It was sort of a badge of loyalty to what was known as the local Crime Boss, known only as, The Viper. Most of her identity was hidden, with some physical appearances being marked down to dealings or arriving at businesses she owned. The two made sure to maneuver past the larger crowds, to reach the bar at the back of the large open floor from the entrance. Both of them glared at anyone who stared for too long, eyeing even those on the second floor balcony with the eight VIP rooms.

When they reached the bar, they parted, allowing a woman to sit down on tall stool. Her outfit consisted of a very businesswoman like black coat, reaching a fair bit down her thighs, with a black leather belt around her waist. A silver metal loop hung from her side, with a chain going from the loop to a pocket. Her boots were formal, yet reached to her knees. Every item of clothing except was adorned her fingers and glasses was black and made of some kind of leather like material. Each finger was decorated in some kind of silver metal fame with a slight purple tint towards the sharp tips reaching just past her nails, which were already long. Her glasses had very thin frames, with purple tinted lenses in each slot. Behind those thin glasses, two yellow, slit pupils gazed almost lazily around before tapping the counter, making very minute sparks on each tap. The bartender, an older and more rugged human, took one look at her before nodding and pouring a double shot of Raava, imported from Socorro. The double shot was placed before her with a speed usually reserved for VIPs or extremely influential people.

The guards, both female Devaronians, kept their positions just around two meters around her. The yellow eyes scanned the floor, her eyes catching the large stage in the corner with a pair of dancers on stage. Luckily it had enough tables and chairs to fit 60 people sitting, and still an additional 40 if they stood. The floor behind her, between her and the entrance was large, a mixture of foyer and dance floor. It was a usual place for dancers of the customer variety. Music rang throughout the building's open interior. It was already fairly busy in the building, with two VIP rooms booked and most seats taken in both the stage and various seating around the edges of the ground floor. A couple locals even leaned against the barrier of the second floor.

Evelynn gave her satisfied smile, a rare sight, as she took a deep sip from her drink. It was strong, yet pleasant to her. It was her regular drink after all.

The music pulsed along as Katarine sat in her booth enjoying some smoking beverage the bartender had recommended. So far her tour of this new galaxy had culminated in her spending a lot of time in nightclubs and bars. The wound from the sithspawn was healing, but slowly, and the Jedi healers were certain it was poisonous. The curious part was it seemed to be influencing her Force aura along with her physical state. Alcohol helped, and so Kat was at another bar sipping a drink she would have found foul only three weeks ago.

She had finally bought a few newer style clothes. Her wardrobe was over eight hundred years old so it attracted a lot of odd stares. Not tonight though. She felt she had done a reasonable job at picking out something modern. It was hanging in a store at least, though it would be just her luck if it was a vintage clothing store!

SOMNOL-716 rarely enjoyed going into clubs and dive bars.

He often wasn't entirely welcome in the these sorts of establishments, due to his robotic existence, and even if he were, they rarely had anything for him.

Somnol was a purveyor of art. He tried to see the beauty in the galaxy that was often overlooked, the perfections hidden within imperfection. Somnol found purpose in it, whether it was an exact circle carved within a wall, a flawlessly-executed octave leap of a singer, or a flowering splatter of blood on the pavement. With that in mind, nightclubs didn't often interest the droid.

But something about this one gave him pause. The music hit him as he passed in front of the door, a constant, pounding beat that rattled his servos. He hesitated at the doorway.

He had some away time from his mercenary partner, Iella Sunscream Iella Sunscream . While he was thankful for the day to himself, it felt odd to be alone. He almost preferred having someone tell him what to do, where to be. So, he wasn't sure how to proceed. Should he enter? Should he walk away?

Being autonomous was such a chore.

After his brief moment of indecision, SOMNOL-716 walked in, each step perfectly measured and balanced, as if choreographed by a mathematician. He made an immediate beeline towards the stage where two dancers performed, picking his way through the packed area to view the show. He walked past the booths, past the bar, quite the odd sight for any onlookers to enjoy. He placed himself somewhere unobtrusive, and watched the performers, his sensors picking up every precise movement, every tiny hitch in their routine.

It wasn't quite perfect, but as far as organic beings went, they weren't far off.

Sitting at the bar, Evelynn was hoping for some new entertainment. The Trandoshan agent that double crossed her, that she had to subsequently terminate to keep her agenda and secrets hidden, was a brief source of entertainment for the morning, but it was well into the afternoon now.

To be honest, the droid entering her establishment was a bit of a surprise. But, what interested her still, was its fascination with the stage. However, a quick double tap on the counter caught the attention of her guards. A quick glance at the droid had one of them on a comm to the security team. They've had issues with droids and sneaking shows from nonpaying people. Her most despised kind of client. Aside from the guard talking on a comm, they looked completely unaware of the droid's presence.

All she wanted as to have at least someone interesting to talk to. The drink before her was nice, but also boring. Her metal tipped finger circled the rim of the small glass, her eyes looking around the building's packed interior. That was, until she found a potential source of entertainment, with out the need for blood to be spilt.

Taking a quick look at the woman across from her at the bar, her dark hair and green eyes reflecting in the flashing lights around the dance floor. Even her outfit was quite nice. Smiling, Evelynn stood up and walked to Katarine Ryiah , her yellow eyes glancing at her before she sat down, as if she just wanted a different seat. A guard moved to the other side of the counter, with the other staying put. The entire Her silver hair hung behind her as she took a sip from her strong drink. "So," Evelynn said, a half casual, half alluring voice cutting through the loud music, "What brings you here?"
